Anyways, Dami, I think you may have missed where Tybs was talking to Maya. :)
I see. Carry on, then. :)

I'm assuming with this Lyn, you can take it over if you like.
Not my field of expertise.I was just thinking about how I'd like to Cameo the Shibusen librarian and then this happens. XD
thats funny I was just thinking something that has nothing to do with that...
I was thinking that for Once I can have one of my charcaters have a normal relationship that does not involve serial killers or conduits to the plane of super hot fire.
Just kidding BTW. Lang still has not changed his feelings about Ignace, he just is dealing with new emotions that he has/is not ready to reveal...

So, I have a job this weekend helping a friend of mine and his parents who run a photography buisness. They pay for the hotel and my food and over the weekend and making minimum wage I come out of it with approx. $200.
I'm sixteen and don't have to pay for my own stuff, so this is a lot for me. XD
Now I find out that the gymnastics competition it is going to be at is hosted at the college I plan to go to as my number one choice! :D

Hitler didn't have people die for him from diplomacy. It was actually because 2 out of 3 people will follow orders regardless of their personal feelings so long as there is even a pretense of authority, legitimate or not. This is unfortunate fact of human beings.

Hey WoM, didn't you leave some note or something for Ace in his room?
If so, how obvious was it and would Ginni have seen it when she dropped off Squeaky?

"Warning to all teachers students and staff,
There is a being wandering the school with the power and intent to make deals and do services for favors of dubious nature.
This being is called 'The Wearer of Masks' and its name is taboo, it. is possible that he can observe those that speak his name.
Be cautious,
Staff"
Tacked to the back of every student's door, fairly obvious :)

what, with unfamiliar tech in front of me I'm expect to not see how it works?!?

Ya. I'm tied up here, so you can take us there.

The idea that two handed weapons are more efficient then unarmed is very saddening considering this games heritage, then I remembered someone added the concept of hit points which strangely enough actually makes two handed weapons possibly more efficient which is even more sad.
Inreality heavy weapons are nice for breaking through defenses but are slower and leave you open to counter attacks, but in reality the first blow to land usually wins, so martial arts which can generally avoid big slow attacks are more efficient.

I remember back in the day - weapon speeds
I believe at one time they were numbers that were penalties to your initiative but than they became categories and initiative was grouped by weapon speeds starting at very fast then progress to slow or very slow
(I don't remember the details. but it did ensure that an unarmed or dagger wielder would always go first over a two handed weapon wielder. no matter what was rolled on initiative)

i don't think it was "no matter what" but as improved initiative was not a thing yet and the highest dex could go (without artifacts) was 25 it was close,
and if I remember right monks got bonuses to initiativelynora |
Ah, weapon speed....the one thihng that I truly miss about 2e. Unlike THAC0....I do NOT miss THAC0. When every hit is an algebra problem and you're dyslexic in regards to numbers it really slows down the game. The group used to get so frustrated with me.
Anyways, there's really no good way to import weapon speed into 3rd and beyond. Which is too bad. But as tradeoffs go, I'm a fan of anything that eliminates THAC0.

this amuses me greatly, my head is organized so that I do algebra and statistics equations for life, I'm calculating my gas mileage (driving conservatively, in a heavily modified 2005 ford explorer I get, depending on the route, 19-22 miles to the gallon) in my head and costs therein, amongst several other things, but at calculus it simply stops making sense to me
Vickory West |
Hmm, I still havent had a chance to study calculus yet, and sadly its not on my course schedule. Ill have to wait till I use the hazlewood act then maybe I can take it.
Funny thing is I can do math easily but it takes me forever, I dont know why.
