Dude, let it go, its more fun, you didn't exactly kill anybody or even really harm them.
You're a PC who gets much of his power from being emotionally charged. Your best friend just admitted he has a massive crush on you, and you ported away to unleash some of your emotion.
There was no time to do anything but explode.

My blindsight has a range of 120ft, I was blasting more or less strait down no make that 45-50 degree angle, call it 7ft away at most.
Were they that close despite the size of the roof I still would have blasted but would have demension doored away first
Dude... you can technically "see" a mile away at daytime... do you know Everything that's in that range?
No!
So why do you assume you instantly know everything about where you teleported to to blow off steam?
Just because you /can/ see doesn't mean you noticed it

... True, fine fine I suppose this is reasonable

for one.... I assume this because the rules say I do

Actually, with blindsight, you do, unless the individual uses magical conealment, or is unaturally good at hiding.
(Hide in plain sight)
However, intake and thought on this perception is much slower, rational thought trailing behind what you know to be there.
In other words, he, as far as all unconscious actions are concerned, automatically notices them.
This prevents flat footedness.
However, this doesn't allow you to instantly comprehend /anything/ without it being your /only/ method of sight.
Roel, for instance, is nearly impossible to hide from in ooze form, but his perception is 90ft.
No more. At all.
You, on the other hand, have multiple stimuli, constructing a setup that would actually cause /slower/ comprehending of non instinct-level actions.

Also, your blindsight has a non-sated range.
A 30 blindsight is worth 2 advanced scout talents and blind-fight, yet you assumed 120.
Roel gets 90, and it is his only form of sight when in ooze form. When in humanoid from, it is 15.

.....rules light.....
Rules light doesn't mean depowering characters when it is convenient.
Or would you like me noticing renkai because you are "standing in the open" because "hide in plain sight" doesn't make sense?
Anyway, I'm off for the night. I don't want to get frustrated over you two's problem.

"Mono"logue can be a good thing sometimes. That's why I find Lim-Môr so fun to play. ^_^

I assume 120 because that is the rang of the dark vision he gets earlier, and because if I didn't set a limit myself it would be limitless

Where does David get Blightsight from?
I know his bloodline grants him Blightsense, but not sure where the Blindsight comes from.
Unless that was a slight error on David's part. If you just have Sense and not Sight, its even more likely for you to have not noticed Rena and Asha as Sense is not as precise as Sight.
| Monkeygod |
Huh?
You gain darkvision at 1st level, but it grows in range out to 120' at 7th. Blindsense is gained at 11th, but lacks a range, which is odd.
Interestingly, it does not appear Linnorms actually have Blindsense in their descriptions. I checked to see if I could try and help determine a fair range for you, but I didn't see Blindsense or Sight listed on any of them.

As a note, first draft had him punching down trees then going for a long flight
Then I thought, he's more likely to cast than to use physical stuff, at least at first... And a forest fire would be bad...
So roof it is
And he's not sad so much As he is confused

Indeed, Ghalen will have little sympathy if caught.
He's not a student, so it could go really badly...

Does being her familiar protect it from banishment? I don't think it becomes a native outsider just because it's a familiar...

I would think the wizard should be more mindful of her familiar's actions then, yes?

If it's banished the wizard loses intelligence
How so? Only thing I can find that's detrimental is if it is lost or dies, and that's just a money and time thing to get a new one.

A familiar can only be x away from the wizard.... another plane instantly breaks bond

Unless you can quote a source here, I do believe you are incorrect.

I only have twenty minutes. I'll see how much game thread updates I can manage in that time. I'll remain pretty scarce for a bit. I'm still nearly a week behind on homework. And out of patience with home drama.
>.<
Also having a crappy morning. Alarm didn't go off. Got kidlet to school late. Can't get an assignment done before class that I needed to...sigh. :(

There's psych trauma.
If I lost Jer, I'd be a wreck, even if he does suck at relationship advice.
And he's an Ex thing, so our bond isn't even magical. I wouldn't lose as much as a wizard does, but I would take a bigger psychological blow because our bond is more emotional.
| lynora |
Lyn, ignore us for now. We'll manage just fine without you, I swear. We're resilient! :)
Looks like have to. Just barely finished finding my place and then I remembered that I forgot to budget time for laundry....we'll see if I have a few minutes when I get there before class starts. :/

Lyn! Don't even tell us when your reading, only when you're done and all caught up!
Agreed, the next one (besides Lynn) who posts in gameplay will be castrated with a bread knife...
