Hermes, you know you remind me of some one hummm...
"Here I am, brain the size of a planet and they ask me to take you down to the bridge. Call that job satisfaction? 'Cos I don't."
"Pardon me for breathing, which I never do anyway so I don't know why I bother to say it, oh God, I'm so depressed. Here's another one of those self-satisfied doors. Life! Don't talk to me about life."
Marvin the paranoid android.
:) hehe
I'm going for more Lt.Data than him. I'm not sarcastic enough (or at all) to be him. XD

If you want to do Lt. Data (though I noticed you wrote 'more'), you may want to be mindful /not/ to be witty (at all) in your comments, which you have (imho) done a few times in your poses so far.
Data was totally and utterly emotionless and logical, not a second of wit ever. That required humor which he didn't have access too, right?
In case you wanted some feedback. It's a really, really, dry sort of way to be, but it really worked in that setting due to the fine writers and acting.
He was the Spock (without any Humanity) for the crew.

I've been funny? I mean, I pointed out that bit of irony but was in a very boring way.
Only funny I can see having happened was situational and caused by the lack of humor.
Anyways. Time for bed. Back to band camp tomorrow. Yay excruciating exercises!. . . .

uh hate to burst your bubble but Data did develop as a character somewhat, he even wrote poetry
I do not recall him actually doing anything, except those few times where he got his emotion chip, emotional.
As for poetry? Sure, even a computer can make poetry-- perfect word choices, stanzas, etc... but, does it have a soul? No. That's what Data always lacked in his way and the few times his logical choices did work out, it only showed as a machine, he really did.
That's my point.
As for developed over time? Sure-- but Hermes /just/ started. Can Hermes be resurrected?

Okay, so reality check I am way too tired to post anything tonight. Really worn out due to having been running a fever for the last couple days. Lilacs are in bloom again. Sarcastic yay for immune system once more freaking out over harmless flowers. Kidlet also running a fever from the same thing. Poor kid. Was part of why I took him to the movies. He needed some cheering up.
Anyways, posts from me will have to wait until tomorrow.

Damiani, Yrrin is on the trail for justice, he will be using security footage (if allowed) and student databases (if allowed) to find the wizard that blew up the infirmary, and the necromancer that raised the dead, and will be trying to bring them to justice
If unable to discover through those means he will use his clerical power to ask his God (technically patron) for guidance

Lang will not be returning to Avalon until the next morning (in game time) so all of this mayhem will probably be over when he gets there.
@ Yrrin:
same here about the champion thing except I will not be a champion at all (cannot qualify)

So Yrrin and Ace are both about to get officially appointed by their patrons in the next little bit here. Remind me again whether you guys were handling that yourself (ie playing your own patron) or whether I'm supposed to write those scenes for you.
And working on getting caught up from the weekend now.

Actually Lyn, that's what I wanted your help on.
Fireclaw is going to run my official appointment, and had it set for some other time(I know when, but won't say publically).
However, we are doing something a little special here, as befitting Destiny. He has yet to get back to me though.
If I do not hear from him once I am home from work around 4pm est, I will PM our current convo and maybe you can make a ruling.
Ace's next actions depend entirely on it.

If you guys have another time planned out, that's fine. I was mostly thinking that he's been using his abilities more and more and it would make sense at this point. Let's give FCD a bit more time. Since the scenes are basically frozen now without him anyways.

Lyn, When are you planning Yrrin to meet his Patron (btw is Justice a guy or a girl) and would it happen before or after the capturing of the culprits who did their dirty work in the Infirmary

Only once actually, with bringing Fei back to life, has Ace used them.
This scene has the potential for him to, but so far, he's only used his normal class abilities.
Aside from the detect thoughts power, which is mostly just a role play tool, Ace hasn't used any Champion powers.

Adon (Icehawk) described the ability, Carl, as a 'disfunctional effect' or what not-- either spell like, or per an item that negates magic.
Pretty sure it's spell like in the description, so anything 'magical' per the rules would be affected.
Then again, it might not be exactly defined either. :) Rules light and all.

Disjunction, a 9th level spell, basically a really overpowered dispel magic.
It is ex.It has been shown to work on high power tech like Johnny's.

Well, they'll be pretty hard to spot, and will vanish if attacked.
Turning them will also be...difficult. I gave him a feature called "Uncanny Control", which means you have to be 3 levels higher than him to attempt to control or turn his undead.
Also, anyone attempting to find their alignment will show them as LN.
He's a very focused character, so his focus is pretty amped up.
But, that's ok. Losing a couple won't matter, and is actually expected.

Due to his level stuff Yrrin turns as a level 26....technically and gets a +4 while bleeding anyway
But actually the wearer was going to destroy 2 of them

He's not 3 levels higher, so his effective turning level doesn't matter.
I ain't budging on this one. His undead aren't evil, and they won't be fighting each other, they're both good guys, so it doesn't matter.
That being said, if it benefits the story to lose a couple undead, so be it.

Question...
What is the point of having the power to turn the undead, when the people who use undead just will all take this feature, which can never be overcome because of a level cap?
not trying to come across as a dick, but you are giving your creatures a serious... buff... against all people who turn or rebuke undead, because you are just saying...
"you cant touch these without being a higher level than me"
while sitting at the level cap

Not to point out the obvious or anything, but it seems fair to point out that Krays is a teacher. Easy to forget since like Ephebe and Nala he's a recent graduate and low level for a teacher, but its not exactly fair to complain about the power level of the necromancy prof.
