Yeah. I have no idea what to do with that block of numbers.
Edit: Also, does Arthur have a means to penetrate the illusion?

lynora |

Yeah, seriously it should always just be habit to label dice rolls. We can't read your mind. Just go in and edit the post to include labels.
Also, Woot! Ephebe finally does something right! ;P
From her perspective anyway, being one of the good guys is ridiculously hard....it was so much easier being evil.....

lynora |

sorry the first bunch are to hit and the next bunch are damage correlating to the to hit rolls
the first time I posted I have no idea what happened it just looked weird
Sometimes if you make a mistake while typing in dice rolls it can generate some major weirdness. Another reason to always label every roll. It's a lot easier to track down where the mistake happened and fix it.

lynora |

ok, fixed.
No, it's not. Formatting issue.
Example.
To hit:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage:
1d6 ⇒ 4
1d6 ⇒ 5
The above is an example of what it should look like. Each roll should be on its own line. Or you need to add the label to each individual roll. A GM should never have to work their way through a snarl of rolls and spend time trying to figure out how many there are and what each is. It needs to be visually easy to figure out.
Edit: And now it is fixed.

It's like writing code: always try to make it as easy as possible for anyone else who has to read it. There should never be any ambiguity in what you're trying to indicate.
Think of it like this:
Someone who barely knows the rules of the game should be able to figure out exactly what you mean. Assume nothing.
That's what good coders do: they make their code readable by those that follow after them.

A very good format I have found for dice rolls is to not include the label in the dice call. In the below example all the squiggley brackets are standing in for square brackets.
{ooc}Perception: {dice}1d20+759{/dice}.{/ooc}
Instead of
{dice=Perception}1d20+759{/dice}.
The reason why you don't want to put {dice=reason for rolling} is that when you include someone else's quoted text in your message and their dice rolls are formatted with {dice=reason for rolling}, it can cause problems with other rolls. Making the roll label part of an {ooc} message is better. Also, put one roll on a single line instead of running them all end to end.

Also Arthur, I have no idea if those attacks are melee or ranged. Nothing to indicate either way.

GM Fireclaw |

Small Vai isn't there - Ephebe put her in the time stream - however, there /are/ two draconic targets.

GM Fireclaw |

You weren't in the room when that happenned. Yrrin burst through the door in response to that comment. The two dragons are vritually identical (ie the illusory one shifted itself to Iron to match the regular one). Unless you have a way to pierce illusions, roll a 50% chance - high you chose the right target to attack (unless you just want to split attacks between the two.
Edit: Sorry if I sound a bit short - just trying to keep things going. I'm posting from work, so I have to squeeze in a bit of time here and there to post.
I believe Grim is also there soon, yes? And Tarka/Jabby?
Which means we're waiting on actions from Fei and Hermes.

Krays |

18...wearer killed 2...for some reason

FireclawDrake |

I would like to note that Yrrin was the /first/ to the security room, so as soon as Hermes burst the door he was charging in (also, since he posted first he was counted as higher initiative, since that's how we roll in this PBP).
You guys heard the dragon roar that challenge at Ephebe just as the door shattered. Either way, Arthur aimed at the right one.
Since I'm unsure if Dalesman will be able to post - just waiting on Hermes, then Vai's turn, then the PCs get to go again.
Phaeze - you are one round from arrival (meaning you will arrive in the next round, but your Move action will be spent, fair?)

More than fair. :)

As far as I can tell, this is the situation in Aananda's lab. Please correct if otherwise:

As far as I can tell, this is the situation in Aananda's lab. Please correct if otherwise:
Two Iron-Bodied Great Wyrm Dragons of Colossal size and Reach, who have conjured a Storm overhead.
Ephebe: Under the stone.
Keme: Not Running away; giving Hope bonuses
Yrrin: Just charged in and taunted the Dragon
Arthur: Flying around blasting his repulsors at the dragon
Krays: Summoned a Horde of Shadows, then went Ethereal
Ryuzo: Blinding around slashing at the dragon
Hermes: Blew up the door. Now what?
Tarka & Jabby: Backed away from the battle.
Fei: Just arriving - either this round or the next.
Phaeze: Following the sounds of battle, will arrive next round.

I think Timelords should get that barbarian feature that makes you go faster. They have an awful lot of running to do.

I was thinking of the quote but Chameleon Circuit works too.
Mel should play some of their stuff. X)

GM Fireclaw |

It's the Blue Dragon's abilty to use Project Image, and can use their breath weapon through that shadow duplicate.
Not mind effecting, and no SR.

GM Fireclaw |

Lyn: I thought Champions got around the Wards. That was why Chan could get Aegythrax in and out.

GM Fireclaw |

Yeah, Vai was taken by Aegythrax after the new wards were in place, that's why I figured.

I didn't think that was so. Chan was getting Aegythrax around the old wards because Aegythrax was his ally, but I was pretty sure the planet flippy thingy with the new wards that erased memories happened after Ephebe was rescued from Chan. I'm going to go back through the thread and check some stuff to confirm this. Give me a few minutes. It'll take me a while to sift through Ephebe's old posts.

GM Fireclaw |

140ft line, but it was aimed pretty much squarely at Yrrin. It most likely didn't hit anyone else.
Lyn: Vai was recaptured the night the wards changed. I remember quite Vividly.
