I loved ghost in the shell.

I also love gundam...all of them...even the bad ones....one has to get one's ranting material from somewhere. ;P

And for reasons even I don't understand because it is soooo fracking bad I was addicted to DBZ for many years. Drives my kid nuts that I know the plot better than him.

But if I had to pick a favorite anime it would have to be InuYasha. So help me, when my son was a newborn I actually timed his evening feeding so it would coincide with when the new episodes were airing.....yeah, sometimes I may take being a geek just a tad too far. :P

Celsius? Cause that's pretty cold in Fahrenheit, but awfully hot in Celcius. Air conditioning broken? And sorry, that totally sucks. :(

My favorite anime is called Polar Bear Cafe. I started watching it before I new it was intended for girls. Now I like it too much to stop watching. >_<

Most places in my city don't usually have air conditioning cause it rarely gets hot enough or humid enough to warrant it. My store has it but not my house.

Yikes. I don't think I could handle that. I don't handle heat well at all. And I'm allergic to everything so I can't have windows open. I have a bad feeling that the next time we move we'll end up somewhere hot and humid and I'll never see outside again.

Anyways, good luck dealing with that and I hope the temperature dips soon.

There is one it's really hard to find. The only manga I have seen I own. Same goes for the series. Well worth the random I'll try it I did with it.

I have mixed fealings about this

Guyver is hands down my fav.

Not to mention the entire robotech series...

I did enjoy me some Gundam Wing also. The Tallgeese was one of the cooler mecha designs I've seen.

I always considered anime to be a style. And anime in Japanese was "Japanese Anime".

While I've only it watched it so far one time through, I love Scryed.

Also Helsing is BADASS.

Really liked DBZ, yes it was overly drawn out at times, but I still seriously enjoyed it.

Sadly, I was never able to finish the series, as I went to college right after Vegeta sacrificed himself to try and stop Buu and my school didn't have Cartoon Network.

Neon Genesis is also pretty great. As is Gundam Wing.

There's more but they require me to think more n brain is too sleepy for that.

Tybs, "rin" is mostly used by younger children. It's "cutesy". It's along the lines of "tan" and "tama", and are almost never used by adults.

(In Persona 3 Junpei calls Yukari Yuka-tan cause he's trying to be cutesy, for example).

Anyway, Midori's using rin with Sara to feel more childish and playful, essentially.

Anime purists make no sense to me.
If the mouth movements are drawn to reflect english instead of Japanese, but otherwise the art style itself is indistinguishable from one another, why does it matter? Who keeps score on this stuff?

while I haven't seen that particular episode I can be reasonably sure that once I get approved I can fulfill that position

I don't think there are too many things thtat my characters are involved with that won't cause hang-ups. just need to free up the sim party a bit.

Pyra is going to relieve Sadie who has been watching Chara and Dara while they were away.
Tami is in the process of fetching Zren and Rikken.
Raelle is waiting for Taron to make good on his offer to bust her out of detention.
Ryleh is looking for Sheessourussen since they had made an appointment to meet in the afternoon.
Ori is enjoying some alone time with Salis.
Sorchan is dealing with some stuff with his parents and overseeing the evacuation efforts.
Asha is currently in line to get on a shuttle and will be arriving at the school to start making trouble in a few hours. ;)
Bradley was talking to Vare, but I'm honestly lost as to where we left off.
Keme is somewhere. I really need to have him find someone to annoy.
Rodhas and Joneh are working on their new sport, getting some informal practices going in the gardens to get people interested.
Miss Jones is enjoying her day off. For a certain value of enjoying.
Aananda is, as always, working.
Fieri is with Ardiente going and finding all the abjured firebirds to tell them about the new developments with the sun.
Jiminy is among those piloting shuttles to help with the firebird evacuation.
Nala is ...actually where is Nala? She was called to the infirmary to help Hew and then when he stabilized she left, but I have no idea where she went. She did leave a message for Phaeze for later, but aside from that I seem to have misplaced a person.

Re: Avatar: Seen everything up through the first season of Korra. Loved, loved, loved, loved, loved the first one; Korra was very good but had some disappointing parts. Hoping the second season will redeem that.

Bokken in my Kingmaker game is basically Iroh as a retired Druid, down to the build, voice, and love of tea.

Re: Game - I just learned I am off Friday and Saturday as well as the holiday, rather than just tomorrow, so I will have time to get caught up. Sadly there's not much Karish can do for sir Brain-in-a-Jar right now (other than open herself up as another vessel somehow, which she's not going to do without more thorough protections), so that's a plot thread that will have to be left hanging for another time. Just need to decide how she breaks it to him.
