note for all but mainly Lyn,
with me going on vacation I am trying to put my characters in a good spot to not be a hold up for anything.
right now Mel might be a problem but I got an idea for Lang.
I want to have Lang talk to Ephebe for permission to return home to meet with his temple elders and get permission to bring his friends to visit the sky temples. and ride the giant owls.
I will PM you with some other details that may occur while there.
Sun will just go hang out with Sara and Chara except during the tea party.

Okay, so I think I may actually be caught up now that I look at it.
Characters not currently actively in a scene:
Keme is somewhere. I really need to have him find someone to annoy.
He could go try to annoy Fei in Kuros, if you want (and when you are back from the holiday celebrations, of course). Given my slow posting, it would be a very low-demand bit of posting (^-^)

Happy Independence day to those of you in the land of the free and the home of the brave. ^_^
Happy Thursday to everyone else. ^_^

There's an idea. :)
What is Fei doing in Kuros at the moment?

Gozreh is the nature God of Pathfinder.
Also PM incoming Lyn.

I think Madness may allow her to bring Lewis with her specifically, as we're kind of the duality of the champion. I was, after all, made for this.

No for two reasons I can think of off the top of my head:
(ninja space filler)This is meant mostly as humor. ;)
Enjoy the 4th, you all-- Reveal in our unalienable rights as human beings regardless of where you live. Huzzah! Yeah, this includes you Canadian-dude. :high five:

I would say he's probably helping to deal with the aftermath of the chemical fire.

Does this include the right to Privacy? Cause your government's doing a bang-up job of that! ;D
(Seriously though, let's not get into a political discussion)

Hey Lynora,
How bad is it that you did that big list of characters, and forgot at least Kitty and Albin?
I knew where they were, I just forgot to add them to the list...how bad is it that among that big list of characters I knew where most of them were off the top of my head? ;P

Still. A dragon rider without a dragon . . . .

(ninja space filler)You're not a Familiar, you're a Mount, which typically doesn't have the relationship Familiars have to their Masters with regards to 'self only' abilities.
It's Madness, yo. "u mad bro?" Part of the game to leave you behind. You either get angry, or irritated to the point of insanity.
Per the Champion write up of their self teleport, Madness can't break the rules! I'm sure then every other Patron would want their Champions mounting things-- imagine what Love would start demanding of it's Champion! Or Lust! This is meant mostly as humor. ;)

Actually, it is a familiar of sorts. It only grows in power when i grow, has a size restriction and power restriction based on me, and can only fight if we are mentally linked.
However, I'm not saying he can teleport with me. I'm just correction that familiar part. And I can share spells-
Starting at 2nd level, the dragonrider may cast a spell with a target of “You” on his dragon steed (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A dragonrider may cast spells on his dragon steed even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the steed’s type (dragon). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants a dragon steed. This ability does not allow the steed to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.
Nonetheless, i don't think i can take jabby.

RE: Kara and Students getting assistance from all these NPCs
I have no problem maintaining the storyline for anyone who gets involved, but, am concerned that including potential "epic"/Godly "NPCs" might just escalate resolution much to quickly, even though it would make sense due to historical precedent to allow such.
In short, if the "kids" want to constantly rush to higher level folk for assistance, doesn't this remove the whole focus from themselves?
Thoughts? As far as I can tell, your plan would require at least two High Seer types to now get involved, is that acceptable?
Please note, I don't mind, but I want to avoid being told or a situation where someone just snaps a finger and resolves a storyline.
Hope that makes sense, please lemme know your thoughts.
Monkeygod
I think your feelings on the matter are quite justified Damiani, so don't worry there.
Its your storyline, and just because the students might go to the teachers, does not mean they'll find out much more than what's already been learned. You get to control that flow of information.
However, with Ehos and co currently very much in the dark still, it only makes sense to take this to the attention of a teacher of some sort. Because of who Ehos' mother is, and the fact that so little is know, Ryo is probably the most logical to go see, even if he were just a Seer, and not also the Headmaster.
For the record, Ace is going to cast Commune, followed by a few other spells, based on the answers he gets. He won't be doing this until Ginni and the others go on their girl's night.
lynora
What usually happens when students go to teachers for help is that they get help but not necessarily a solution. The teachers are overworked plain and simple. And Ryo and Ehos's mom just got handed a major major crisis. While it makes sense for the kids to keep them in the loop, that doesn't mean they have time to solve it. The idea is that they can give them a bit of guidance in the right direction. Teaching independence, being efficient with time, you broke it you fix it, etc. Some of the lower level teachers (Vare, Ori, Salis, Ephebe, etc) are more likely to interfere directly, but usually only in situations where students are already over their heads. For the others it's primarily about getting advice.

Just remind prompt me with your questions per the spells, then I sort out responses.
As I said, no problem if folks head to "NPCs", IC is IC, but was more curious how the players involved wanted to pursue things.
FireclawDrake
I think your comment of 'IC is IC' is the biggest thing here. Phaeze had made this out to be quite a big thing... I can't see a reason why they wouldn't at least /try/ to bring in the big guns.
However, your plotline, /you/ have creative control, on top of what Lyn said Re: teachers preferring to let students resolve their own issues. Plus... As Lyn said, Ryo and Denulia have bigger fish to fry at the moment.
No time for real posts but wanted my two coppers on this.

Hey Lyn, did you miss Ace huggin and thankin Rae??

Technically Tyb's fear of fire cannot be a phobia. A phobia is an irrational and unfounded fear. Tyb's fear of fire is completely founded. ^_^

Yeppers. Here's Fei's last post (from almost a month ago - stars and garters, I just have no time anymore....)
Nodding in thanks to Ace for his help in restoring Vai's life force, Fei takes off after them. The report of gunfire and the rapid, uncontrolled fall (then disappearance) of the last Vrolikai in the distance, however, leads him to believe that his abilities might be better used in the town itself.
Knowing that Vai and the others are alright now, the young monk descends back to street level. He immediately starts to use his healing skills on those with minor wounds, and his healing energy on those more gravely hurt and at risk of dying.
He absorbs whatever fires he comes across to both prevent their spread and to replenish his own healing energies so he can continue treating the injured.
As he can, Fei tries to keep his eyes open for any more indication of the being he saw fleeing the first arson scene.

And now to tend to my torched back and maybe get some sleep.... (o_O)

Who is albin and what did he do to kitty (or possibly Michael)
Albin is a lycan and a petty, conniving thug. He's a wererat which is why Haruka thought he smelled like food. ^.^
Anyways, Albin is a bully and back when he had powerful friends and could get away with it (partly because the wards were malfunctioning a lot thanks to the former champion of Madness) he bullied Michael mercilessly. And while under the influence of madness Michael got some serious (and slightly disproportionate) revenge.

Daww. Did you get the little white things that pop when you throw em at the ground? It's not a real childhood without those. ;)

In many of the original Greek myths Sirens were either water-elemental like creatures or mermaids. Most couldn't fly and were stuck on the shores calling men to their dooms. ;)

Better. We got him the little red tubes that pop much louder than the little white things. :)

Lucky. No fire crackers for us this year. In downtown Florida though so lots of shows all around. :D
I managed to find a pack of poppers at dollar tree that hadn't been opened and stolen so I got em. :D
Then it rained. :/

I just like Greek mythology so I wanted to say that. Lyn you could make it really vague. I have to know now. 0_0

You know, i just think i had my first charceter idea with no class basis, vague powers, and was built around personality rather then abilities making the personality.
(Normally, i create a powers section, then think out what kind of person they would turn out to be.)
