Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

Had to look that one up. Let's just have him go by the Destroyer here. It'll make sense later.

female Dragonborn Gestalt duskblade 16/wizard 16

ok, though I prefer 3.5s dragon gods...

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

I agree for the most part, though Desna is cool and nethis is interesting

Using some of them, but yes there have been some adjustments to the pantheon. This is one of those things. I do warn people that dragons and dragon-related concepts will require a lot of work to fit into this setting because of its unique history and blend of different systems and settings.

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Good point.

Yeah, I know it's a bit of an adjustment, but I'd rather deal with the adjustment now rather than later when it's part of a plot point.

female Dragonborn Gestalt duskblade 16/wizard 16

alright

I've been playing it as you can't get drunk if you're immune to poison (treating alcohol as a poison). It hasn't stopped the dragons from trying, but so far none of them have managed it as they're immune to the stuff. :)

I don't know if all dragons are immune to poisons, but I do know the amethyst ones are.

the way my groups have usually played it is that:

  • depending on how you get your poison immunity, you may be able to choose to lower it
  • some things that are racially immune to poison have crafted special or supernatural liquors for when they want to get drunk that can surpass their immunity
  • some races, even without immunities or bonuses vs poison, are tougher to get drunk except by their racial brews, which are so strong they will knock members of other races back down on their bar seat

Gods bleh man I could just start throwing out names of gods that very few people have heard of.

female Dragonborn Gestalt duskblade 16/wizard 16

    unless they've played Palladium

While we're at it Narzrar is one of mine and she's so discreet shes only talked about in one line of one 3.5 homebrew races belief system but it makes sense he would have found her being made of ice and all. I can change if need be but its a rather small point in the grand scheme of this game. Is there a paizo god/goddess of ice?

male Aasimar Muse-touched Image gestalt waterbender 11/Disciple of the Healing Waters 5/ Bard (street performer/song healer) 16

That's not the only gods I could throw out then again I could throw out some names that people would be like "He's not a god!". Such as Santa and his elven and dwarven army. Dumbest god yet.

    Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Fred: the LN red dragon (also oger) god of misdirection, agriculture(espicially as it pertains to alcholol) and merchantilism his holy symbol is a crystalline mug, his clerics can get drunk on whatever they want (and the reverse is also true and so long as they retain consciousness they can become sober on a dime) and they can chose the result of any (non epic) divination spell used on them, (least that was how it worked in 2e) but in return they were never supposed to tell the whole truth.

Narzrar was hard to find...going by that one line in this world Narzrar would be an obscure name for the Winter Queen. More of a demigoddess almost kinda sorta. Actually a powerful fey....and worshipping her won't make you many friends. Nala may have to have a little talk with you about that....

    "male" Ooze? sorcerer 6, fighter 16, ??? 10.

were my actions with limited wish acceptable? if not, i can retcon quickly.

It looked like it didn't do anything? Other than backfire. Did I read that correctly?

Yeah, it's fine. No issues with that at all.

Maybe but being made of ice its a little obligatory.

Would using drench cause her wings to stop working like in peter pan?

Male Minotaur gestalt Plains Druid 16/Cleric 6/Elemental Archon 0

I'm using control winds to make her land due to high winds

male Aasimar Muse-touched Image gestalt waterbender 11/Disciple of the Healing Waters 5/ Bard (street performer/song healer) 16

I don't think that she has much control over if she's flying or not at this time.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Nevemind it looks like its u.der control.

David have you really never heard about fairy food? A lot of times that stuff is wrong to everything but fairies.

Other than midsummer nights dream that would be a no I haven't heard much

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

it can be uber dangerous... some fairys are immune to poison as well... and it is specifically made to mess them up....

its quite possible you could end up in alice's wonderland...
    or pixie hell....

    either way...

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Its cool ive got a plan enibriated counts as willing right?

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

not always... but you probably can convince him into anything if he is inebriated....

(if the fairy brew gives pleasant images... if it gives unpleasant ones... he could totally flip out while violently halucinating.... your welcome for that cheerful thought

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Are there specific stats for drunk?

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

    yes actually

from the book of tournaments, fairs, and taverns

    tipsy:
Tipsy: Judgment slightly impaired, but no noticeable effects. -1 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and Reflex saves. No effect on movement or hit points. Must make a Concentration check (DC 10 +spell level)* to cast spells or take similar actions

    Merry:
Merry: Inhibitions lower, voices raise, and balance wavers slightly. -2 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and Reflex saves. +1 temporary hit point per hit die. No effect on movement. Must make a Concentration check (DC 10 +spell level)* to cast spells or take similar actions.

    Drunk:
Drunk: Dizzy and disoriented, words slurred. -4 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and Reflex saves. +2 temporary hit points per hit die. Can safely take one partial action each round, but must make a Balance check (DC 10)* to both move and take an action. Falls down on a failure. Must make a Concentration check (DC 10 + spell level)* to cast spells or take similar actions.

    Hammered:
Hammered: Can’t walk in a straight line, generally incoherent. -8 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and Reflex saves. +3 temporary hit points per hit die. Can safely take one partial action per round, but must make a Balance check (DC 10)* to both move and take an action. Falls down on a failure. Must make a Concentration check (DC 10 +spell level)* to cast spells or take similar actions

    Plastered:
Plastered: Communication is nearly impossible, as is standing up. -16 penalty to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and Reflex saves (though the character can take no actions, so it usually doesn’t matter). +4 temporary hit points per hit die (but usually unable to take advantage of this). He must make a Concentration check (DC 10)* to cast spells or take similar actions. Character is nauseated, and the only action he can normally take is a single move or move-equivalent action per round. A character who is plastered can, however, choose to take one partial action other than a movement, but is then stunned for the next 1d6 rounds

    Unconscious

    Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Sorry I didn't respond to this last night. I kinda fell asleep on the computer. =^.^=

I've been staying up late too much and yesterday I took a nasty tumble. Luckily I had just come from yoga class and was all warmed up so nothing worse than pulled muscles. Not so luckily the bell the teacher uses during meditation at the end of class was what caused the menniere's flareup that led to the tumble. My ears were convinced that gravity worked in a different direction than it did. Anyways, this was what led to the unplanned early bedtime and to not getting up until after noon today...okay, after one. Still stiff and sore, but feeling quite a bit better. :)

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

    And I see I missed shenanigans. :)

    Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Not much shenanigans least not for here but shenanigans nonetheless

    Male Human Rogue 16/Magus 9
    True Seeing:
He is wearing a blank white mask

it was a performance! not shenanigans
    *pouts*

    actors.... sigh

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Aww I'm sorry you had a bad fall lyn I have a friend who falls so often that she can fake it perfectly and not hurt herself. Are you ok now?

    Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Were this in person I would ask if it hurt and then when the obvious answer if yes was I would deliver the sage advice of"don't do that" but I find to be in bad taste here

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

I'm okay. Just some stiff slightly sore muscles today. Normally I'm really good at falling without hurting myself (for much the same reason as your friend) but I just fell in a bad spot and my book bag threw me off balance. Just a reminder to not get cocky and pay more attention when I feel dizzy I guess.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Be sure to drink plenty of water and nothing else itll help loosen the muscles up.

Male Icy Catfolk Image Warlock/Rogue 16

Massive format fail man try again roel and if this is being read by that guy whos name i should know that was out of character.
