What does it take these days to get free time to post? Well, apparently my birthday. :P
Kidlet and his many after-school activities and excessive school meetings (high school transition stuff...we have three information meetings in the next week alone so he can pick which school he wants to go to next year) means I have been/am woefully short on free time. I'm hoping things calm down a little once we get the high school applications in, but that still leaves 6-7 martial arts classes per week. o.O I know I was just as bad about the over scheduling when I was his age and once again I fall victim to the age old curse "I hope someday you have a kid who is just like you" (what my mom always used to say when I was really pissing her off) ;P
Anyways, today I am not doing any work and just doing what suits me, because I can and I want to celebrate making it a whole forty years! Woo! Not dead yet! ^.^

Edit: Nope that scene dropped right around the time they made it back to the school. I was confusing Lyzzie and Asha, which is just weird. The only thing they have in common is blonde hair.:P
I have lost track of my story threads. If any of my characters were in the middle of something with anyone else's and we need to resolve something, just poke me about it. Otherwise I am good for the time being.

By the way, should I be playing Freedom? Did we ever decide who was gonna do that?
Magic, we never settled on who was playing Freedom. That's really up to you. If you don't want to, then I can do it. But you are more than welcome to play Freedom yourself. And this little aside is more of a fun behind-the scenes of the Patrons because I had the scene stuck in my head and figured y'all might also appreciate it. So it's not strictly necessary for every Patron to speak up, but all are welcome to. :)

If you have any ideas for Freedom in the scene, feel free to use them. I think we settled on their preferred form being the classic Greek Chimera? I don't think I know enough about the situation to be an effective part of the scene, myself.

It's all history of the last Great War with the Others, so if there's anything specific from that you want me to highlight, let me know. Otherwise I can just summarize the basic outline of what you guys learn.

lol. Well, Patron relationships tend to get rearranged fairly frequently, but I picture Pride often interfering with Mercy's peacemaking efforts often unintentionally, so there's definitely some friction there. :D

The vague post I wrote that explained it all taking place was really tricky as I had to make sure I kept things vague enough to give anything away but not so vague as to make it incomprehensible.

There's a lot of really awesome stuff for them :)

somone linked me this, got me thinking about avalon's death. So I wanted to share it.

Woo! Done with family birthdays for another few months! And done with school visits! The way you have to pick a high school in our school district is a bit like a dress rehearsal for choosing college. I was not prepared for that. :P
