Hi!

I'm currently playing in two face-to-face PFS games, DMing one face-to-face Adventure Path, and one face-to-face homebrew campaign. I'm also playing in multiple PBP games and DM'ing a PBP Adventure Path.

I really like the idea of playing a campaign of PFS scenarios up to 12th level (33 XP). This will start with low-level scenarios and go up to the high-level scenarios.

PFS: This will be legitimate Pathfinder Society scenarios, with Chronicle sheets and online credit.

Core Campaign: This will be a Core Campaign. This Paizo blog post explains the rules.

PFS Campaign: As you may know PFS works in a very fixed way regarding levelling and when scenarios can be attempted. Every 3 scenarios completed levels you up. This means you can totally plan out a series of interlinked scenarios, creating a sort of campaign of scenarios that work well together.

Open Table: We all know that PbP campaigns start with the best of intentions, but eventually people can't keep playing forever. Real life happens, things come up and players have to drop out. As such players will only be expected to commit for a single scenario.

At the end of each scenario recruitment will be opened up to cover any empty slots, but ongoing players who gel well will be given preferential placements.

Overall this will help to provide the ongoing campaign feel, without forcing people to commit to an incredibly lengthy campaign.

Posting Frequency: I am looking for people who are able to post pretty much every day at least once except for weekends. If for whatever reason you can't, expect to be either 'quiet' in the scene or have a generic action taken for you in combat. Obviously longer absences should be explained in the Discussion thread.

Season 2 scenarios: We will be using the excellent campaign path provided by VanceMadrox.

Season 2 Campaign:

1st Level:
5 Mists of Mwangi
1 Silent Tide
35 Voice in the Void

2nd Level:
14 Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch
2-11 The Penumbral Accords
45 Delirium's Tangle

3rd Level
51 City of Strangers, Part 1 - The Shadow Gambit
52 City of Strangers, Part 2 - The Twofold Demise
17 Perils of the Pirate Pact

4th Level:
2-01 Before the Dawn, Part 1 - The Bloodcove Disguise
2-02 Before the Dawn, Part 2 - Rescue at Azlant Ridge
2-13 Murder on the Throaty Mermaid

5th Level:
2-15 Shades of Ice, Part 1 - Written in Blood
2-17 Shades of Ice, Part 2 - Exiles of Winter
2-19 Shades of Ice, Part 3 - Keep of the Huskarl King

6th Level:
2-03 The Rebel's Ransom
2-25 You Only Die Twice
2-21 The Dalsine Affair

7th Level:
22 Fingerprints of the Fiend
2-23 Shadow's Last Stand, Part 1 - At Shadow's Door
2-24 Shadow's Last Stand, Part 2 - Web of Corruption

8th Level:

10th Level:
2-14 The Chasm of Screams

2-16 The Flesh Collector

11th Level:
2-18 The Forbidden Furnace of Forgotten Koor
2-20 Wrath of the Accursed
2-26 The Mantis's Prey

NOTE: I want to thank Jonathan Hunt, from whom I appropriated much of the format of this recruitment.

Dotting. I don't know if I'd be up for the entire length, but I'd definitely like to dip my toes into the PbP pool. I will commit to all parts of a numbered arc if I start one, though.

I've 3 core characters spec'd in HeroLab that I still need to export here in part or in full. Human Barbarian, Elven Archer Cleric of Desna, or Gnome Illusionist, and if I've got a foot in the door will choose once I've got a better sense of the characters depending on what I think will be most interesting with my comrade's characters and builds.

I've done statless PbP ages ago when my prose was purpler, but I may need some handholding for the technical details during the first scenario.

I've been wanting to dip my toe into CORE for a while, and this seems like a fantastic shot.

I really like the "campaign" idea...and would love to play with a group through the whole thing!

I'll submit a human druid. Though he's yet to be built, I can do so quickly. :)

Silver Crusade

This character is a Core Campaign Human Paladin of Shelyn, who will pick up Sorcerer and Dragon Disciple levels later. Built except for a bit of shopping, though details haven't been uploaded yet.

Full disclosure: I wouldn't want to commit to the whole 33 XP, partly because this character already has 2 XP from in-person games, and partly because this character will most likely be picking up AP/GM credit at higher levels. This character is also waiting to hear from a Confirmation table. If that game takes her first, I'd be interested in participating at a later date.

Also, I have played or run many of these in non-Core.

I'd like to start a character on this arc. I have a core ranger set up but I think I'd like to keep him more available for in-person play, as he's a bit of a gimmick build (TWF with hammer and sickle, named Red Ivan) for fun.

I think I'll go with a human or elf wizard based on the previously mentioned characters. I have played many of these scenarios before, but I'm pretty good at separating IC and OOC knowledge.

Also, is there a possibility of running Eyes of the Ten after this?

Liberty's Edge

I'm definitely interested. Just created Two Tall Tim for this. I usually GM in RL and have run a lot of these for the regular campaign, but would love to have a run at them in Core.

Shouldn't that be Too Tall, or is it an intentional word-choice joke?

He is a half-orc :)

Liberty's Edge

This looks like it might be fun.

I put this ranger together as a submission. I would be using this alias. Just now made it. :)

Silver Crusade

Jamesui here.

If we get much of the currently interested group, I think I'd decide on this cleric.

Statted up, minus final purchases. Description to be written up later. Fully fleshed-out character to be developed in the crucible of interaction.

There is always that possibility, but, I have never run them or played them.

Currently we have:

PatheticWretch - Interest
Paladin of Baha-who? -- Interest in a wizard

Amina Tuncay -- Paladin
Two Tall Tim -- Fighter
Kastarr Emris -- Ranger
Milarandei Qetra -- Cleric

NOTE: While this is (sort of) first-come-first-serve, I will definitely wait till after the weekend. I would hope to have a six-PC party by then.

TDM

Scarab Sages

Okay, here's my submission for PatheticWretch. Fatham, a human druid.

I still need to review my feats/traits and animal companion to make sure I'm core compliant, but otherwise he should be done.

Scarab Sages

This is my new Core wizard. Still working on him.

Scarab Sages

Aside from skills/traps, looks like a well-rounded party.

Sovereign Court

Here's my bard - still cleaning it up, but very interested!

Currently we have:

Paladin of Baha-who?/ Akhenethys Bin Lisimba -- Interest in a wizard

Amina Tuncay -- Paladin
Two Tall Tim -- Fighter
Kastarr Emris -- Ranger
Milarandei Qetra -- Cleric
Fathom -- Druid
Ffortissimo -- Bard

I'm willing to hold the spot open for Akhnethys (ABL) and to have an overstuffed table of seven (I've done that in face-to-face).

Please, everyone else, update your Profile pages to include your PFS #.

Now added

Scarab Sages

Added. Also, thought "Two Tall" was very funny...though his Int is 12. :)

Added. Definitely looking forward to this.

Yes and he even has a rank in Linguistics...but that came after the nickname :)

Scarab Sages

I guess some illiterates gave him the name, and he didn't realize until he was older that it has been, and always will be, misspelled! XD

Silver Crusade

Updated. May do a little bit of shopping before we get going, though.

Liberty's Edge

Alrighty. PFS ID now at top of stat-block.

Scarab Sages

Profile is updated. PFS# is at the end of it.

We have our seven.

Please, everyone, report to the gameplay tab.

Good luck with the campaign everyone. Glad to hear my starting campaign has been of some inspiration to you :)

Throwing my name in as a reserve spot should an opening arrive in the initial game or upcoming games :)
