Yeah Yeah. Story of my life. Clueless and the subtle hint detector broken. Ie Sense motive -5

Oh buddy, don't get me started.
I have a bit of training as an artist and designer. I bet there's dozens of shades from Pure white to the color of cream, to the blue white of ice and moonlight. What's the worst is trying to explain why white LEDs look different from white incandescent bulbs. Ones cooler, has a blue tinge to it, the other is warmer, has a yellow tinge to it.
What's really bad is seeing two high saturation, complimentary (opposite sides of the color wheel, like Red and Green, or Blue and Orange) colors. It gives me an actual headache.

I'll be on the road for the next two weeks. Eastern Shore shout out! I expect WiFi will be found almost anywhere nowadays (hotel/McD's/Starbucks/local NSA undercover van) but my posting will not be as prompt. Thank you for your understanding.
Although Kiptera is not nearly as verbose nor as versatile as Hon was, I expect this will work in my favor for this trip. ;-)

Ok I was in a location that was very remote, 1 bouncing bar of signal for cellphone and ~40 minute wifi response just to get to the point of posting. Currently at wifi hotspot and earning dirty looks from wife while she waits. Next scheduled wifi visit tomorrow. Fortunately, puzzle lends itself to pen/paper resolution.
I just reworked the puzzle from another angle. Same answer. The spoilered answer is correct. Kiptera will provide a terse IC clarification if prompted. ;-) Be glad Hon is dead. He would've gone all pedantic on ya'll.

If you want to give the riddle as Einstein, here it is.
Albert Einstein once posed a brain teaser that he predicted only 2% of the worlds population would be able to solve.
FACTS:
1. There are 5 houses in 5 different colours.
2. In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
3. These 5 owners drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigarette and keep a certain pet.
4. No owners have the same pet, brand of cigaratte, or drink.
CLUES:
1. The Brit lives in a red house
2. The Swede keeps a dog
3. The Dane drinks tea
4. The green house is on the left of the white house.
5. The green house owner drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall keeps birds.
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the house right in the center drinks milk
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill
12. The owner who smokes Camel drinks beer
13. The German smokes Marlborough.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
15. The man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water.
The question is, who keeps the fish?
NOTE: I have never seen it given with the facts. I think the 4 facts section was created to make it easier and forestall the typical questions.

Still here btw, just been quiet... it just seemed there for awhile with a big group was hard to find a spot into it. But, I have kept up with it, just stayed quiet.

Durgen Grimhelm |

With the Necklace Durgen picked up the following Languages, assuming all of them are ok with Chainmail (If the two ancient ones are not, I would choose Infernal and Sylvan)
Abyssal, Ancient Gold Dragon, Ancient Elothean, Celestial, Draconic, Ignan

![]() |

......
Durgen has taken to learning his new languages using the memory of his new necklace. He hears voices of ancient gold dragons and other people from the past occasionally speaking in his head. When speaking common he occasionally has to catch himself to prevent speaking a word in a more descriptive language instead.
The intent is no penalties, just a RP opportunity as the necklace imparts language skill from ancient teachers and requires no tutor to learn the selected languages.
You guys are killing me. The ghost of Hon rages in envy.
..
.
Killing me.

As much of the world was unexplored, you would be in the exploration phase of things as an explorer like Magellan, you would be entering the sandbox phase of things. This part had an ocean-going Kingmaker flavor feel.
But, given the sporadic posting and attrition in both threads, I am coming up with a way to wrap things up early. Probably will evoke the final competitive dungeon crawl phase soon.
So, to answer Kragg's option question, the sandbox option I will not kick off. I will resolve the dwarven invasion of the ent/dryad lands. Given the options unlocked and aid, they have only a 5% chance of complete disaster (1) and 15% chance of utter disaster (2-4). Stalemate/quagmire = 5-8 (20%)
The will open another set of options.
Dwarves vs ents/dryads attack: 1d20 ⇒ 4

Hey guys just to let you know I have been following waiting to see what the response is from people for posting. I must say I have not been too impressed. That is why I am deciding to drop out of this game. I have been asked to DM a game here for a group and I need to cut back on what I am in. Sorry for this but good luck.

GM Enaris |

I've been very busy with my new job, and haven't really had time to work on the connection issues at home between shifts.
I'm posting from work now as it's started to calm down and get a little less chaotic, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to respond with any real immediacy.
I would like to see through to the end, though, even if just to read the posts here and there.
