Spellbook and bonded items available for mages as well as familiar if needed. Two weapons in the mix, if the party didn't have enough.

Personally, I've already lost two characters in PBPs this past couple of months. I'd rather not make it three. I really like the flavor you gave that, Chainmail.

Pick an order for your group after Gallak and roll d20 for each name. Low is bad.

Way to roll those electronic bones Gralk! Gralk also begins with a +2 breastplate and boots of striding and springing. Might want to consider training acrobatics at least one level if you haven't already.

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Thanks! I will consider the Acrobatics. What are we doing with the remaining items from the dead? I provided a wishlist earlier, and it is as follows.

+3 Mithral chainshirt of Fortification(25%)(10 Lbs)
Merciful Executioner's Axe
+2 Belt of Con
Cloak of Protection
2 Flasks of Acid
Hon's Backpack
Caltrops
Grappling Hook w/50’silkrope(4+5=9lbs)
and any Gold split between the party

Gralk would prefer the lighter armor so as not to hinder his enhanced movement and a two-handed weapon of some sort.

Find Hon, feel free to loot the +3Mithril fortification. Anyone got a Summon Yeti spell?

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Thanks! Will do!

@Chainmail: I am going to loot the bodies in the gamethread for the specific items on the wishlist above. Can you please tell me what the hell a Merciful Executioner's Axe is? Also, are there any racial Gnoll template things that I am bringing over above and beyond the ability score adjustments, i.e. Bite Attack, etc.?

Getting my wizard together has been going super slow. I have been thinking about a Gnoll Rogue but we probably have enough gnolls already now

I'll try and get things moving but just haven't had the time.

If you need me to roll I will.

The Merciful Executioner's axe is an intelligent +3 acidic merciful greataxe, I believe.

Hon is correct, we must chase down his body to loot the armor, and no guarantee it'd be intact. Still, we don't -know- he's dead so we might do that anyways. Plus, maybe we'll unlock yeti player characters. xP

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Gotcha! Ok on the axe it is yours, Gallak. What was the other Axe's properties/type? I will gladly take that up.

Axe may need some convincing. It is possessed by a xenophobic dwarf.

Gallak's hoping it'll keep Gralk in line xD

Kinda sad I missed out on these con buffs. Damn you, dice!

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Well...you may have the +2 Belt of Con. What do I need to do to keep the axe in line and functional.

Become a dwarf...

Attack Dwarven enemies such as goblins, elves, giants and gnolls

Speak rudely and interrupt when necessary (all the time)

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Got those covered even without becoming a dwarf...lol

What yetis? ;)

The ghost of Hon regrets the last moments of his life. He cannot rest knowing he died for stupid heroics. Buried under a gold ore avalanche yes. Disabling an impossible trap, worthy efforts. Hon hopes the yetis get indigestion and the mithril is just as painful going out as it was going in.

The yetis currently in possession of Hon's really nice chain shirt.

Although I think the yetis named him Lunch...

I'm not sure the best method to loot off the dead and it be fair lol. The veteran's should get pick first imo, but that's me. Should we tally what we got and try to even it from there? It doesn't matter much to me. I just want some armor, a shield, and an waraxe to attack my enemies with.

Just to put things in perspective, the groups this was made for loved a deck of many things. The knowledge that doing something again increased the risk, like picking from a deck of many things depleted of good cards, did not sway them.

Only 2 of 7 groups now have avoided breaking the throne.

for wealth reasons, Kragg is taking nothing but the MW lock pick tools.

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

I am not trying to step on any toes, especially those of the former party. However, no one was willing to come forward with such a definitive and itemized list of what was available and how to split it up, accordingly. Hence, I took it upon myself, in character, to move the process along. I suggest taking everything from the dead at our current location and then attempting to find Hon. An appropriate listing of available materials after we do or do not recover Hon can then be formulated and it can be distributed fairly.

Hey. Personally, I am in it for the PBP RP. Hon was fun to play. I still think a reincarnate might be in his future if the trustees of his money are more philantropic vs ethically challanged. But I digress.

As a player, I'll hold no grudge over the divvying up of Hon's stuff. New character, new motives, different stuff. And quite frankly, you are the only character to rifle through Hon's backpack that was dropped at the stairway. The others don't really know what Hon stashed away but it was a lot. You got dibs, if Gralk can recognize value beyond metal trinkets/bling and a direwolf pelt that is. ;-)

Chainmail: Just to clarify: Kiptera Stiresong sat on throne twice. (15 and 20 respectively.) From CM's phrasing and for crunch purposes, the first "15"=+1 con, the second "20"=+1 con. Would this be a perm boon?

Also, Kibs backpack was dropped alongside Hon's. I pulled and consolidated inventory from Kib's profile before it changed or got lost. Posted it on page 21.

Yes, +2 to con total for Kiptera permanently.

Gralk triggered a single +2 to con, Durgen a single -2, the rest were no effect or +1.

Vital striking sunder cleave? Muahaha

The Exchange

Female Dwarf Wizard 1

Yeah. I am like a kid at xmas. I have never had so many bonuses or feats. Making sure the math is right and format acceptable to DiceGen.

Looked at vital striking (adds raw weapon dmg not added or multiplied by crit) but I really like greater sunder(extra dmg beyond destroyed weapon/armor is absorbed by victim)

The two are quite compatible. My group likes to combine vital strike with cleave, and use the extra attack to trip or sunder someone. In particular, vital strike is very good paired with sunder, to overcome hardness.

Charge, vital power attack greater sunder scares me.

I see that Nar is still up and running. Hon's body is missing with most his stuff and only bodies to get things to fight with off of are Kibibblepep (and Hon took some things off him, though they left some scrolls) and Khazad.

We have 4 new dwarves and a gnoll (which the gnoll started with some equipment). And we got 2 weapons from Boog-Boog.

We need a bit to prepare for chasing after yetis.

Or did that one dwarf barth bail? or is he still in the group?

Gralk's attack was in the surprise round. He and his axe are not surprised.

And the axe just went from useful to liability. I say we let Gorum have it and deal with the xenophobic dwarf.

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

I am all for that if I can stop attacking with the damnable thing!

Ah, my understanding was that those familiar with the axe would likewise be unsurprised.
The axe has really always been a burden. Plus, Durnak is obviously more at home with Gorum.

Just like the Spanish inquisition, the sudden Axe assault is hard to anticipate.

The treacherous guide who pulls a knife and attacks always gets a surprise round, even if someone says 'Wait, I never trusted him from the start' Just how I do it, it may not be universal.

After this fine to get rid of the axe. It's a hard loss as its our most potent weapon but better than the unpredictable regicidal gnoll wielding it.

Sczarni

Rogue3/Wiz1 by training, Machiavellian by temperment

It is an unknown factor to Kiptera, of course. As for the missing Hon, He has been threatened by it before and would not miss it nor any who wield the axe.

Male dwarf Cleric 7 Holy Vindicator 1 hp 61. saves 10/4/13 AC 23/11/23 Current:28

Any suggestions on a fifth level feat?

If Chaimail let's me retrain power attack I will go with point blank and precise to help the ranged combat phase as right now all we have is Joan and we have a fighter, barbarian, fighter/cleric who all can do melee. This would give options for the group.

I am taking rogue at fifth and probably sixth just to let everyone know and will have good stealth and perception for those traps we come across.

Retraining feats is fine.

Problematic axe is gone, although he did solve the problem in a direct way.

PC restoring takes priority, so Gralk returns. Plus Boog-Boog is culpable for the desecration of Gorum's throne.

I'm going to take the battleaxe the gnolls gave us, that way I have at least something to fight with, armor will come later.

are we going to let boog-boog keep the crossbow? I think it'd be wise to keep friendships with them after this ordeal

Male dwarf Cleric 7 Holy Vindicator 1 hp 61. saves 10/4/13 AC 23/11/23 Current:28

Umm I think Boog Boog is dead so it won't really matter about the crossbow keeping him happy. That being said it may do well to talk to the next gnoll in line and explain that the gods demanded payment of life and items which the dwarves happily fulfilled for them.

Ok happily may be exaggerating, but that is why I let others do the negotiating.

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Damn...you snaked me on the axe Ghanrik...I am weaponless. Anything two handed out there that I am missing?

Male dwarf Cleric 7 Holy Vindicator 1 hp 61. saves 10/4/13 AC 23/11/23 Current:28

Dwarven urgrosh that you can use two handed. Granted you won't use the dual weapon aspect but you can use it. Of course I will need two weapons then, one handed and light.

Male Gnoll Barbarian/5

Thanks, but I am hoping we come across something, and you need it.
