Gallak Fangbreaker |

I was worrying I took a few too many levels of bard, but with Kib down, I'm glad I did.
I now possess a wand of knock, and it will soon come into play.
My primary objective as a caster right now is building up a good defense. If I open the door now, the giant just steps out and flattens Kragg- he needs some survivability first. Of course, if Kragg says something contrary, I'll likely listen.

Chainmail |

Okay, I think we are at five.
Hon and Joan look to stay pat (keep their characters as is).
Kragg to paladin and Nar to arcane caster. Gnome or even human is probably best for the arcane caster. Paladin can inherit Nar's sweet armor and healing wands as long as he is not a gnome, then the armor is too small.
Gallak can adjust too. Elves are now at seven, so I will probably recruit again and see if we get one or two more, but want to make sure the existing characters play what they want first.

Kragg Stoneheart |

Would be a battle dwarf to avoid he cha hit. Kragg will leave a will to the rest of the party to divide up his loot. If ok with you this will be Kragg II so the name stays the same and I don't have to create a new alias. Plus all the equipment is there already in the party fund.

Joan the Hunter |

Yeah, I think I'm sticking Joan for the time being. If she kicks it, well I always have plenty of other ideas.

Kibibblepep Sparkle Eye |

Hey all, still here. Been crazy busy and I think, after more than five straight years of PbP, I was a little burnt out and needed a bit of a break.
If Kib's not dead, I'm still game to continue along with you all. If he's toast, an/or you want some new blood along, no worries and no hard feelings.
Either way, it's been great fun. Thanks!

Hon lets loose with another swing at the door then moves back out of range of webbing and any backdraft of fire when it gets thrown. Giant ain't touching me that intact web, concealment from door and a giant-sized Kragg the target of choice. Yeah Kragg, you just smiling for that 100 pound anvil fist of his.
Sunder door 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 (+3BAB+2ST+1Feat) Dmg 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 (+2ST)
Reflex 1)1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22, 2)1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18, 3)1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23,Edit: If Hon keeps throwing single digit dice rolls, will the axe mock Hon? This has been a concern of sorts for Hon since SOS town. Uh... Does the axe have telepathy, cuz he'd be in a heap o' trouble.
Edit II: Added reflex saves
Would you look at that? Double digits for rogue stuff. Dancing with objects of mayhem, no.
Hon remains a skill monkey because the dice said so.

Ghanrik Earthshield |

"Hello there!" Ghanrik scratches the back of his head and laughs for a second then he begins to talk again. "My name is Ghanrik Earthshield, son of Ahr Earthshield... My father doesn't quite have his memories, so I'm afraid that is far as my lineage goes. I am a warpriest of Magrim and I will provide ye with lots of healing and can handle a waraxe quite well. Hope to be of great use to the group and I can't wait to adventure will ya'll!"
Any questions just ask. I've read some of the campaign starting from the beginning already and will try to finish it up before you add me in. Anything else I need to do with character other then be at the party's mercy for loot lol?

Ghanrik Earthshield |

I've got one suggestion. Fix the spelling of Fighter in your status bar. It is making my eye twitch. In my humble experience, twitchy-eyed rogues are untrustworthy...
Ya I noticed that awhile back and changed it.

Chainmail |

Ghanrik is a captured dwarf in the giant complex. I will let you know when you find him.
If Kib isn't posting, I will find another 'prisoner' to join Ghanrik soon. With Nar ready to be a caster, I can go with almost anyone in the last spot. Duplicate cleric or caster may work too, though with Gallak + newNar we have two arcane.

Hon once again ignores the urge to become a user of the arcane or divine. Now oddly enough, the druidic has a bit of a draw. He really is an oddball. Still, Hon only trusts his senses and leaves the mystical to others more suited to it. Now to barely survive the scenario and at the same time alert the whole complex. That is our Moderis Operandi right?

Ghanrik Earthshield |

Oh no, I'm a captured dwarf. Please save me, I've not got to taste ale in awhile.

![]() |

Cripes! A whiny dwarf who let himself get captured, dragged into the some dungeon cell within the bowels of "giant" mountain and he already heard rumor of a couple of dwarves causing trouble at the front door. And he only asks for ale?
So this means we are switching up our M.O. a bit. Let everyone know first then try to die. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Ghanrik Earthshield |

lol, come on now this isn't my character acting like that. I just thought a captive dwarf and no clue how long he has been captured is going to want some good ole ale. this is discussion thread. wanting me to try to die already?

![]() |

Perception check for the faded bloodstains and dessicated bones of our former brethren.1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15. On the other hand, this may be why Ghanrik just wants an ale. He has been here for so long, he has focused on the only thing living for.

In regards to the repopulation of our group through the recruiting efforts of Rock, I am inclined, based on the tactics favored, to cast a vote towards the human skirmisher. We might as well go with our strength and double up on that. We've had plenty of "Faces" for little avail.
Anyone else is nice, but truly, look at what we are doing right now: Chasing blindly after a giant into its own stronghold where there are more giants after running thru burning webs for the privledge of doing so. I am reluctant to discuss exit strategy with my so-called peers. They might imply I am less than a full dwarf and afraid of a little combat.
Yeah.
Skirmisher.
Perfect.

Ghanrik Earthshield |

on page 25 of the gameplay so far.. can't wait to be a part of it. :)

Updated Hon to reflect the gift of Knock. Wand that is. First of many I imagine. Did someone pull Kibs gear/Bandolier O' Wands? Hon is one to waste not, want not. And the crossbow did come in handy didn't it? He may still head back to get personal effcts for next of kin. We will see how this event ends up.

Do taunts work on giants? Just curious. :-) You know for a contractual mercenary, Hon sure does have a hero streak in him. If he survives this should remove the last vestiges of it.
Go ahead and peek at the Giant spoiler. Enjoy the schadenfreude about to hit Hon.

Barth Spellhammer |

Looks like it'll just be me and Ghanrik at this rate, fellas! Instead of a rollicking adventure yarn, it'll really deep, philosophical exploration of what happens when you deprive two dwarves of ale for too long.
Get us out of here!
EDIT: Believe me, we want to help you help us out of imprisonment.
