background:
Born as the daughter of Hondor Stiresong and granddaughter “Pa” Outhum, she was a doted upon as the sole female child of the family. She spent her childhood listening to stories, legends, and all that is great regarding the dwarves, but in every story there were questions unanswered. She loved to puzzle out these reasons and discovered that many stories had a darker side of pride, greed and pure dwarven stubbornness. Suspicious trait Her family had high hopes of her becoming bard of some renown which she dutifully smashed with an honest dressing down of a favored ballad with citations proving a hero acted not selflessly but greedily and could have avoided to whole incident. Several similar incidents later, some of more wizened council concerned about questions raised regarding some of their own glossed histories, decided to turn her inquisitiveness to the rigors of arcane study. Quite a few clan members breathed easier after her apprenticeship was accepted. Suspicious trait and yes she saw right through the façade of this opportunity.

The Dwarven Wizard to be her master, Ogin Theogar, was pulled out of retirement which accomplished several goals. The irascible old coot now had a focus for all his complaints, a new audience for oft repeated meanderings of yesteryear and an opportunity to teach the youngster respect(ie don’t ask questions, we know better) for her elders. Her first lessons were accomplishing the bucket list of the ol’coot, and bordered on remedial and almost useless, tasked with creating biographies of long dead dwarf wizards. ”Shouldn’t be that hard, not many of us choose this arcane path.” She learned much but her arcane studies were lacking. Scholar of the Ancient Ways.
Ogin finally passed away, releasing her from the apprenticeship yet sorely limited in the repertoire of spells. Ogin did bequeath her a final task: restore a named masterwork hammer to its former glory. Small problem: no record exists of this hammer much less what its name was supposed to be. The only clue was a weaponsmith mark from under Dammerhall. [i][b]

appearance and personality:

[spoiler=motivation] To lend her knowledge to ensure the success of the Dammerhall mission. To finish this final task of her former master.
