Mounted on the east wall of the waiting room is another rectangular screen over an array of keys or buttons marked with faded alien glyphs.
The red circle on the map is another computer terminal.
A vault door like those in the airlock is set in the east wall north of this machine.
Another door like that leading into the strange throne room is located in the east wall at the south end.
Zed Nexus
Zed utters a spell an inspects the dagger.
Zed casts Detect Magic.
He then begins to place the coins into his pouch.
Clinger, aventurine dragonfly
"Clinker do you know what this is? Is it some kind of door key?"
She asks looking over the thing carefully
That, My Lady, is a Genie library display model manufactured by SyntaxCorp.... It appears to have "died".... er, that is to say, it must be charged before it will work again.... Assuming it is still functional at all, of course....
Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra
Hears what it says and seeks to understand.
"Charge, humm that is the thing where you place electricity into an item to give it life is it not. Power it you said by means of electricity fine control adapters into a grid of electricity that was within this craft. So I take it I can't just blast it with a bolt of electricity and charge it. I need a grid adapter to do it so as to Charge this Genie library display model into life IF it's still working. Chinger"
She says seeing if whats she has been told fits into a working system for the constructs they have found
She looks around
^Knowledge (Engineering*) spends a daily inspiration, 1d20 + 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (20) + (5) + 9 = 34 cool that is good, can move things along
"So if I can find a suitable power grid adapter then I should be able to Charge this"
She takes her tools out and looks to craft one from the cabling and items around, power cells for the chain saw etc.

.
Gnaarrg
Gnaarrg will go over to the computer terminal and poke at buttons until she figures out which thing turns it on. After that, she'll spend time figuring out how the controls work. She had seen them looking over the other one but since the device was available this time...
Engineering+Technologist: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
"This button?" she muses, prodding the panels.

Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra
"Well I am not going anywhere until I have worked out how to get a Charge into this thing. It's far to much fun. What do you say Zed-e-kins, You want to head back to slave-dom. And how about you Gnaarrg, stay here and have fun. Or go back and have all we have found taken off us and then the joy of being back in a cage."
She then goes back to seeing of she can get the small object powered up.
Michael Johnson 66
Lady Zal makes the logical leaps necessary to figure out how to repurpose the wires that once powered the "eye" in the eastern reception desk area into a power source for the "Genie library display", requiring a bit of tinkering with the book-sized object.
Lady Zal can keep that 28 she rolled as her Craft (mechanical) check--a success. It will take her 1 hour of working to merge the wires with corresponding internal receptors in the device.
Michael Johnson 66
Gnaarrg's careful examination of the Androffan machine results in her gaining a clearer understanding of the concept of computers and their general capabilities aboard a starfaring vessel, but she only scratches the surface after about an hour of experimentation. Essentially, she can power them on and off, and understands typical interfaces between the keys and the display, but much of the information stored in the wondrous machine remains mysterious to her, at least for now. Some of the images and texts summoned to the display screen by her button-pressing merely serve to raise new questions, such as: "Who are these people in the amazingly life-like portraits?", "What do these indecipherable glyphs mean?", or "What on Golarion (or some other world) are those strange creatures?"
Zed Nexus
Zed looks towards Lady Zal as she speaks his face blank. "No. I d-do not wish to go back. I w-want to get this d-device off." He says pointing at his slave collar.
"Then i will kill them...slowly." He then tucks the dagger on the table into his bandolier.
Gnaarrg
"Got it." Gnaarrg concludes after spending an hour working with the computer. "These will be easier to manipulate now. Device is very advanced. I need to learn the language. League would benefit from knowing how this works." She sighs and sits down on the floor where she stood. "Benefit too much. Would not want Gnaarrg anymore." her hand touches her collar. "Would dispose of me. Keep secrets."
She sighs. "It's good find. Too good."

Exploring the rest of this level, the party discovers a second "throneroom" identical to the first, beyond one door in the east wall of the port side waiting area. Beyond the vault-like doors, they uncover a pair of launching bays and a pair of ship-like vessels with eight plush seats in each, with helms covered with a complex array of controls and screens. (The two launching bays and escape shuttles, both no longer functioning after the crash and six millennia of entropy....)
By the time the adventurers have completed a thorough search of this level, the sun has sunk far to the west.... It seems to be about 4:00 PM or thereabouts.... It grows steadily darker inside this level. Soon, those without darkvision will require light sources to see.
Geirmur Breeland
"I agree with Nalket. We should push deeper; our masters would likely only punish us if we returned now, at best. Much worse if Gnaarrg is right."
Geirmur will have a look at the vessels. Seeing the controls, he decides to leave deciphering them to the more educated among the party, and will see if the ships have any sort of cargo hold, food pantry, or armory of any kind.
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

As the other explore, Zal like Gnaarrg works, seeking to get a charge into the odd device. She also shouts over suggestions when Gnaarrg hits problems.
Assisting
I hope this is right, once she has a charge into the item
"Clinger once we move from here, do you know how to recharge this thing, is there a device that dose that?"
She holds the small black object and hopes for the best.
"I agree lets push on, we could find more things to study"
she had little problem in the darkness as if she like some of the others could see in to.

In the portside escape shuttle are found the skeletons of six humans who were killed by the impact of the Silver Turret into the crater it now rests in....
They wear threadbare scraps of material that might have once been clothes....
Among this debris the adventurers discover three rings of gold, a cloak that is miraculously still intact, of deep blue with silver stars embroidered on it, a pistol of sleek starmetal, and a necklace of silver with moonstone settings....
Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra
Taking off her smocked glasses now it dark she stands and goes to see what the others have found in the search.
She takes some time with the six dead bodies, while the others lift of the items she takes some time looking at the bones.
Heal 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
"It's clear they died from the impact, bones broken. Must have been a horrible death."
She looked over the craft.
Knowledge (Engineering*) 1d20 + 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (17) + (6) + 8 = 31
"This must have been some kind of craft that would have taken them away from the disaster that befell the greater craft. They just did not have time"
She says few words to the dead under her breath. Then very carefully takes a bone form each of the dead bodies fingers. Labeling each and placing them carefully in her belt pouch.
She then talks time to look over the three rings of gold and the necklace of silver with moonstone settings.
She casts detect magic on the area and items to see if they are in such an odd place. Then Detect Psychic Significance over the whole location to see if after all this time anything has any Psychic residue.
D magic
The strength and location of each aura. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, you can make Knowledge (arcana) skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura: DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + 1/2 caster level for a nonspell effect.) If the aura emanates from a magic item, you can attempt to identify its properties (see Spellcraft).

Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra
" thats a ring of protection weak but useful. That's a ring of feather falling, that's a ring of sustenance. It will take a week to start working so not much use right now. That is an item I would like, as it cuts down ones need for sleep. But I understand if another wants it more. Again weak but useful the necklace is an amulet of natural armor. The cloak is a cloak of resistance of the lesser kind. The pistol now then, has no magic as we know it, but it is a powerful light ray weapon. I could look closer at it to see if it works still. I think it too may need power. It could be tricky to use but some one could try."
She says pointing at the items one by one.
Gnaarrg
Gnaarrg grins and handles the weapon. "Not bad." she says. "Weight's funny, handles like small crossbow." She will find an unoccupied section of the room, preferably with a small object she can target, and takes aim.
Is there a penalty for using this weapon?

Is there a penalty for using this weapon?
Gnaarrg takes aim at the skull of a fallen vegepygmy and a squeeze of the trigger incinerates the vegetable matter with a bright red beam of light, the sizzle of melting tissues, and a puff of smoke!
Geirmur Breeland
"Fascinating. Reminds me of my rifle, in a way. You should keep it, Gnaarrg."
Looking at the other items Zal is holding, Geirmur will scratch his mustache in thought.
"We should divide these other things by need. Who needs to improve their defenses the most?" Geirmur will look meaningfully at Zed and Zal when he says this. "As far as the ring of sustenance, I think it best that we save it for an emergency."
Zed Nexus
Zed looks over the items found with a blank stare. "I could m-make use of the necklace. If n-no one objects. I also have no objection to L-Lady Zal having the ring s-she wants."
He then stares off for a moment. "I think we s-should s-seal the doors and rest. It could give us time to f-figure out our next s-step."
He then speaks up. "Also i think i can make use of that s-strange Chainsaw. If i could have o-one of the batteries. I would just n-need perhaps a few hours to s-study it further."
Geirmur Breeland
"Good idea, Zed. I'm sure we could all use the rest."
Geirmur will look for something that could be moved in front of one of the doors to the ship, but without too much hope. If he doesn't find any such object, he will instead find a spot where he can watch both, and stay there.
Zed Nexus
If no one objects I'll take the Necklace of Natural Armor, the battery, and the chainsaw.
Zed moves into the security station and and begins looking over the chainsaw, taking the other battery and inserting into the machine, then taking time to familiarize himself with it.
He then takes a seat at the desk. "If we s-seal the doors i can keep watch while we rest. I have n-no need of s-sleep."
Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra
Places the items on a table but takes the ring of sustenance and slips it on her finger.
"I understand what your saying Geirmur, if anyone needs it more than me I will gladly had it over to them. But as it takes I think a week to fully line with its owner. That may be a mute point."
She then goes back to working on her small black slate, seeing if she can power it once more.
GM is there a battery slot for it?
Michael Johnson 66
Yes, Zal finds a battery slot on the "Genie", currently empty. Or she can "hotwire" a charge using the wiring that powered the camera with about an hour of tinkering.
Lady Zal believes she can "hotwire" a charge into the "chain-sword" or the laser pistol in the same way, given about an hour's work for each item.
Further, she should be able to recharge depleted batteries using the wires, as they are connected with and conduct electricity from the Silver Turret's generators.
Gnaarrg
"Someone needs to wear ring now. No benefit in emergency." Gnaarrg agrees with Zal on that point.
"We rest. Go deeper tomorrow. Find way to break collar. Work for ourself."
