"Good. We kill them if they come back." Gnaarrg declares. She turns to her mechanical steed to assess the damage and start patching him up if needed.
sorry, i had this whole 4 paragraph post before the fight ended, but the web site went down and i hadnt saved it. :/

Zed perceives a muffled growl from behind the door left of the curved desk (the security station). The door to the north (spacesuit locker) is silent. Strange machinery is fixed to the walls around the curved reception desk: the sleek, thin rectangular screen which displays weapons detected by the silver poles flanking the airlock doors; a small metallic box with a glossy eye-like lens in front seems to stare at him from its perch in the upper corner (the green circle on the map--a security camera); and a smaller screen and array of keys or buttons rests on the desk top (the red circle on the map indicates a computer terminal).

Zal familiarizes herself quickly with how the brown key card works. She can now use the brown key card to lock or unlock any door with a brown slot associated with it.

Zed takes a moment to familiarize himself with the tech around him.
Zed feels confident that the box with the lens is some kind of scrying device. The smaller screen and array of buttons or keys on the desk top seems to be a control station of some kind, possibly granting those with sufficient knowledge the power to control the environment, seal or unseal doors, send or receive messages to or from remote locations, and countless other functions....

Michael Johnson 66 |

An exploration of the waiting area on the starboard side reveals a pair of planters growing russet mold patches flanking the door from the airlock area, and another viewing port showing the crater outside the Silver Turret. A round table sits at the center of the waiting area, surrounded by high backed chairs. On top of the table rests another brown card key, 22 copper pieces, and 37 silver pieces, along with a pair of bone dice and a mithral carafe and 8 mithral mugs, all filled with a fermented fungal tea.

Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra |

tucks the brown Card away, clips her light cross bow to her belt, Pulls out her combat blade and then walks around the plant things, checking they are dead, if not she sticks her blade into there eyes and deep into the brain of so they are dead. She also gets her bolts out the dead bodies, When done, she uses prestidigitation to clean herself and her kit off, slipping the blade it back into her boot. When done she wanders over to Zed.
"Well that was exciting, been a while but I still seem able to shoot strait. Now what have we here"
She looks over the tech, taking out a note book she looks over her notes, from other expeditions and makes new ones.

Lady Zal-Azra comes to the same conclusions as Zed about the technology in the starboard reception area--a "scrying device" (security camera), and a "control station" (computer terminal) are the main objects of interest. She familiarizes herself with the technology in short order.

Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra |

"Well this here is a cogitator construct box. a mechanical device that collates and possessors sensations from other mechanical senses, in this case mechanical eyes and some means to see weapons, how I do not fully know. How ever the mechanical eyes are located in a number of places around the internal spaces of this structure. The ones who made this structure wanted some sort of guard room where security could be over seen. By means of theses cogitator picture plates. Mages do the same thing in there mances, by means of magic eyes and vision mirrors. Why they would not just use magic, is something I would much like to learn. But there you are, now this here is the mechanism that moves the eyes, to look around the space, and this, selects the eye one can see with."
She pulls and licks things and the images change a little.

Zed Nexus |

Zed looks at Zal as see explains the workings of the various objects.
"That i-is quite i-interesting. I wonder w-who is watching us."
He then makes his way over into the waiting area on the starboard side. Taking the time to conjure orbs of acid and fling them into the russet mold.
Zed casts Acid Splash onto each of the patches of mold.
He will swipe the brown card key from the table. Noting Zal's use of the card in the other chamber.
"W-we should load up the carafe and m-mugs. They look valuable."
He then takes the time to dump the fermented tea into one of the planters before setting them back onto the table, before investigating the door on the southern part of the room.
Zed tries to open the door leading to the room labeled RR.

Geirmur Breeland |

Upon hearing the nature of the glass eyes, Geirmur grunts with displeasure. "I don't fancy being watched; spirit or otherwise. I say we blind these eyes when we find them. They could be much trouble."
Geirmur will draw his sword and hold the pommel up to the glass eye, but will look to Zed and Zal for approval before breaking it.

"I think it's probably something left over from whoever made this thing, probably not dangerous on it's own. Although if does rather ruin the possibility of sneaking around."

Gnaarrg |

My daughter had her first cold at 10 months, and was teething at the same time. I haven't slept in 2 days! @_@
Gnaarrg will recover her crossbow and look around. She will examine the 'eye', thinking of how she could remove it from the structure. "That would be good salvage." she says, pointing. "Complex, worth more. Don't destroy; take down."
She will whistle, and Maagun will move into the main room, then standing still just behind her. She'll open his packs in anticipation of collecting valuable salvage. She shows little interest in mundane items.
"If we can find where the eyes lead to, we can turn them all off there." she reasons. "There must be a center where all these eyes see is gathered."
Yeah, despite her rough speech, Gnaarrg is quite intelligent!

Geirmur Breeland |

"Fair enough. Do you think our owners could make use of them? If they are a scrying tool, they may have interest in it." He points to the weapon sensors. [b]Perhaps we could harvest those in some way, if the guardian spirit is within them. I imagine our owners may have interest in something that detects weapons like it does."[b]
Geirmur will stand behind Zed when he sees him trying to open the door, musket at the ready should something happen. Besides the screens and cameras, Geirmur seems disinterested in much of the bits and bobs.
I ready an action to shoot if something hostile appears on the other side of the door.

Michael Johnson 66 |

Zed starts methodically packing the objects inside his pack. Then investigates the lower door in the chamber.
Zed tries to open the door to the room labeled RR.
The door opens outward, revealing a small, wedge-shaped chamber that appears to be a latrine. A circular throne with a lid on its seat and a tank for a back occupies the north wall. A mirror over a metallic font and basin occupies the curved south wall. Dust and mold grow rampant inside, but no more russet mold is found.

Lady Zal -Azra Qlin-Zra |

Zal is deep into making her notes, while others are looking for things Zal is recording reserch. She dose however say over her shoulder at Geirmur comment of braking things.
"Please don't brake anything, I really mean it when I say, a lot of things in here are priceless in working order, broken they are little more than scrap."
Then she goes once more back to making notes.
When Zed opens the privet door, she dose however come over and look at it.
"Now this is interesting, I would suspect who ever made this place was humanoid and organic. This is a secure space and only those of privilege would have access, I suspect the makers. The whole space and environment tells us so much. The size of the entrances and exits, the seats, the height of work areas. Who ever worked here was about the same size and shape as us, with I suspect a very similar metabolism."
Then she goes back to her note taking.

Michael Johnson 66 |

Nalket opens the tank and looks for fish (if it's full of water) or valuables (if it's not).
"Bah. What's the point of having a box on the back of a throne if it isn't filled with jewels and totems?"
Though still filled with ancient and scummy water, the tank regrettably holds no fish.... Rather, it contains a submerged contraption of unknown purpose that seems to consist of moving parts and might regulate the amount of water in the tank....

Gnaarrg |

OMG. Someone tell me there's still toilet paper in there! That'd REVOLUTIONIZE Golarion! We'd get so rich off our superior butt wiping technology! :)
Gnaarrg will try to pull a chair so she can get up to eye level with the security eye, failing that she'll have Maagun position himself so she can sit on him and reach it. Using her tools, she'll see if there is a way to pry/unscrew the thing off the wall.
If successful, she'll look at any wires coming out the inside, and make careful notes as to which one went where before cutting them and cataloging everything she experiences while working with it: smells, sights, electrical shocks, sounds, etc.
If unsuccessful, she'll analyze the thing, and try to figure out what she would need to get the eye into her packs.

It takes her about 5 minutes, balanced on Maagun's back, to carefully remove the box with the eye in it from its mounting on the wall behind the desk. She notes the configuration of wires carefully in her own form of notation, and is reasonably confident that she could reattach it to a suitable system to get it working again for her Technic League masters, provided a power source and a similar network of "optic nerves"....

Michael Johnson 66 |

Saissha makes a face at the dirty water and inspects the mirror and basin.
She can see her reflection in the mirror, despite a thin layer of dust and some mold here and there.... If it were cleaned properly, this mirror would be superior to the polished silver mirrors used throughout the rest of Golarion, and might fetch a respectable sum in the market. The metallic font and basin are covered with a greenish patina from millennia of neglect, but miraculously, when she passes a hand under the font, there is a brief sputtering sound before clear water gushes out into the font and pools there, unable to drain due to clogging, perhaps....

Zed searches near the tables on the west side. Take 20; so a total of 27 Perception.
Zed sees the same technologies as in the eastern reception desk area: an "eye" on a box near the ceiling in the corner, a larger screen (currently displaying a cross section of the Silver Turret), and a smaller screen and button pad on the desk top. There are two more doors (as shown on the map), one in the north wall and another in the west wall. Lying on the floor near one of three high-backed chairs behind the curved desk is a black card, the same size and shape as the brown card found on one of the fallen vegepygmies, but glossy black instead of brown.

[dice=Intelligence]1d20+1Geirmur will investigate the screen the vegepygmies were watching earlier, to see if it seems to displaying anything that he can make sense of.
It occurs to Geirmur that the fancy throne resembles the simpler plank-with-a-hole-in-it positioned over latrine pits in castles and palaces throughout Avistan.... It's not too dissimilar to the portable chamberpots used by common folk, for that matter.

Zed Nexus |

Zed kneels down to pick up the black card and tucks it into his bandolier. He then stands up and looks over to his companions.
"This s-screen s-seems to have a map of s-sorts on it."
He then attempts to open the door to the north of the reception desk, using the black card.

The black card slides easily into a slot with a black panel next to the door on the north wall, and the door unlocks. Zed pulls it open, revealing a storage chamber that appears to have been mostly looted at some time in the past. A number of empty floor-to-ceiling lockers hang open along the curved north wall. One of the lockers still contains a suit (Medium) of glossy black material like supple leather, with a highy reflective surface.
This is a black scatterlight suit, as described in the Technology Guide.
