Swords and Super-Science: Numeria Sandbox PBP (Inactive)

Game Master Michael Johnson 66

Swords and super-science in the savage realm of Numeria! The heroes begin as 1st-level slaves of the Technic League, forced to explore the fragments of the fallen starship Divinity in search of potent alien technology for their arrogant masters in Starfall. As soon as they can win their freedom, their destiny will be in their own hands, and all of Golarion will become their adventuring grounds....

Slaves of the Technic League, the young novice adventurers (1st level) are fitted with "scrying collars" that explode with lethal force if removed improperly, and are sent on expeditions into the lesser fragments of Divinity that long ago fell to Golarion in the barbaric realm of Numeria. Their mission is to find and recover any ancient alien artifacts remaining in these strange ruins and hand them over to their Technic League overseers.

Eventually, the adventurers must try to win their freedom from the decadent and immoral wizards of the Technic League and take the reigns of their own destinies. They might seek vengeance against their former masters, or become conquerors of Numeria or elsewhere. They will be free to plot their own course to fame and fortune!

The first ruin the heroes explore is The Silver Turret, located some three leagues south of Starfall city. Transported to the sight in cages on wagons drawn by oxen and escorted by a band of Technic League enforcers and shiny metal Gearsmen, the slaves are directed to the ominous dark opening in the side of the Silver Turret and commanded to return with technological treasures or not at all....
