NPC´s have their own motivations sometimes, what also makes for a more interesting story.

Okay its been a week since we've seen our GM, so any suggestions? Should we give our GM more time? Create a looking for GM thread?
Let's give him a couple more days to respond to this thread, say until Wednesday. If he has not checked back in by then I will take over running things, until at least we can find a new GM.
Lilly is still here for now...but would like to see things start moving a bit, or she may jump overboard, and head for greener pastures :-).
The pacing has indeed been maddening and I wouldn't blame you if you did. Hopefully we can get things moving again quickly.
I'll second your vote Randall. Wednesday sounds fair enough. On that day I'll start a thread to look for a new gm.

Please excuse my absence. I am/was severly sick since over a week, not able to spend a lot of time in front of the PC or out of bed.
Thing is, i have one of my graduation exams next week tuesday, so i´m kind in a situation here, not only because i wasn´t able to post.
I´m feeling a bit better now though and this will go on.
Should i ever abandon the game, i will tell you.
Else if you don´t hear from me for some time, you can bet i´m sick or some other unpleasantries happened. Except when i´m dead, i´ll come back. Maybe even then.
Gamepost in the next 5 hours.
Of course, if you don´t like the game and would want to try your luck with another GM who could provide you with more speed at the moment, you are free to try. I won´t be offended or angry and could understand that.
The game was going slow lately and i´ll still be busy for some time, although i will try my best now that i´m feeling better again.

Right now there is a GM fiat situation.
Either i could just let Lilly´s very vreative try pass or ask you for extensive dicing.
Passing is rather undramatic while dicing is, well a lot of dicing on the board.
There is actually a storm going on that i would rule as severe wind (because else it´s not a storm) and ranged attacks to throw a rope as well as fly checks get a -4. Worst case is Tilly bracket dies.

Also, the DC´s for all skill checks are raised by 2, meaning climb is 12 and sailor is also 12 ;)
If you take too much damage, you might consider staying down and just take the punishment^^

Your STR modifiers will count on the swimcheck. No need to roll something.
Mostly, Aid Another (Fly) checks consist of yelling at other people when you're doing it wrong. Or so I heard; it could also take the form of trying to show the flyer how they're supposed to be doing it. XD
When i say days, you naturally recover yournormal healing rate. Sandara will also heal you and treat more severe wounds.
Yeah weather and environment conditions often make fights a lot more funny. :D
