Nerrenn does not seem swayed by the efforts of Lubella or Talvek.
While the party tangles with the shark and sea elf. the dolphin, elemental and octopus attack the ghost but do not seem to make any impact on it. In fact, they swirl around her and the octopus tentacles pass through the wall.
Nerrenn continues to attack Talvek.

Nerrenn had taken enough non-lethal damage that is is merely unconscious. The shark has stabilized.
Lubella casts detect magic and begins to scan for auras (which there are plenty in the area).
Talvek and others had noticed that both the ghost and the wall behind her are not all they seem. Everyone had noticed Nerrenn and Shark had emerged just this side of the wall. Finally, I believe the dolphin (or octopus) expire.

Lubella replied to Talvek, "Can someone restrain him? I can cast a cure spell, but I'm worried that he might still be hostile when he regains consciousness.
Lubella's Cure Light Wound spell heals 1b8+5 HP of lethal damage, plus an equal amount of non-lethal damage.
"I'm detecting several magic auras; I'm working to pinpoint them now."
I think it takes 3 rounds of concentration to pinpoint each aura:
1st Round: Presence or absence of magical auras.
2nd Round: Number of different magical auras and the power of the most potent aura.
3rd Round: The strength and location of each aura. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, you can make Knowledge (arcana) skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura: DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + 1/2 caster level for a nonspell effect.) If the aura eminates from a magic item, you can attempt to identify its properties (see Spellcraft).

Kenji looks at the team.
"Do you potentially have a healing wand?" he asks.
He drinks a tea of transference and regains his ability to smite by focusing his ki.
Tea of transference allows to spend a ki point and regain 1 use of smite evil.
Kenji then moves to Talvek.

It's just one save. Can't negate evil eye, just reduce it - which is why the immediate cackle is helpful.
Sidius says, "Well, now, that seems to be the way in."
He then nods at Kenji, "We do... and better to use it now than to deplete my magic."

Lubella continued to concentrate on the magic auras, until she could tell the others the location and strength of each one. Then she swam closer to the nearest area of interest, "I have a potion if you need some healing," she offered.
Round 3 of concentration on Detect Magic.
Lubella has a potion of cure light wounds and cure moderate wounds. She still has some 1st level spell slots left to cast cure light wounds.

Kenji nods.
"So we have no wands. I can channel divine energies to heal us. Is that acceptable for you all?" he asks.

"If we do not have a wand then let me use my divine power!" he says and gathers the group a little bit farther away from the disabled enemies.

Kenji heals himself more than Nerrenn, but both are benefited.
Talvek swims to the wall and his rapier passes through it to the hilt.
in the three rounds, Lubella finishes her detect magic and also spots the illusionary wall and image of the elf ghost are more magic than real.
The other two summons expire as Talvek looks beyond the false wall to see a large sea chamber.

Lubella swam toward the east wall and pointed out the rune that seemed to be the center of the pulsing light, "I think we need to disable this rune: It looks to be at the center of the light pattern!"

Next round she can cast Moment of Greatness on everyone (assuming they're in range) to give everyone a double morale bonus on one check (presumably to deal with the rune).

Lubella and Talvek study the specific rune while Kenji mentally wills himself through the false wall. He starts to scan for evil auras and definitely detects evil in the room. It will take a bit to pinpoint specifically where ( I believe same 3 rounds as detect magic).
Arcos makes a comment also on traps versus runes.

If there's some sort of ongoing sound-based effect, Lubella could use her Countersong ability against it:
At 1st level, a bard learns to counter magic effects that depend on sound (but not spells that have verbal components). Each round of the countersong he makes a Perform (keyboard, percussion, wind, string, or sing) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by a sonic or language-dependent magical attack may use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Perform check result proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the countersong is already under the effect of a noninstantaneous sonic or language-dependent magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it hears the countersong, but it must use the bard's Perform skill check result for the save. Countersong does not work on effects that don't allow saves. Countersong relies on audible components.
