Sorry! We're at the beach for vacation and this rental has substantially worse internet and signal than any we've had in the past. So I'm here, just slowly able to update things!
Against DR 5/silver, Felicia's average damage per hit (ignoring criticals) would improve from 0.75 (Falchata) to 1.75 (Dagger).
Lubella's average damage per hit (assuming Battle Dance) would improve from 3.5 (Scimitar), to 7.75 (Dagger)
I humbly suggest that Lubella might be the best person to use the dagger for now.
Lubella will eventually want to get a mithril scimitar, but that's a ways off. If I understand correctly, the book price for a small mithril scimitar would be 1015 GP.
Brain Fart! For some reason I was forgetting the dagger doesn't work with Dervish Dance (duh). Lubella will let Felicia have the silver dagger.
That's what I thought, no worries. Still, it's only a last resort kind of thing for Felicia too. At three I'll have so many feats and abilities that are Falcata specific, she'll only use daggers if there is no way to gap close or someone tells her that silver will help.
When I was playing though Mummy's Mask, the player of our diplomacy focused character couldn't make it for a few sessions, which coincided with a very social section of the AP. My Alchemist, with no ranks in diplomacy and a 0 charisma modifier, became the face of the group because everyone else had a charisma penalty! At least he had Heroism extracts to give him a mighty +2 diplomacy total.
The lighting effects seem to be allowing Lubella to see a little further than they should in some directions (20 ft normal and additional 20 ft dim light).
Yep, that's because the lighting inside isn't that bad. Multiple holes in the roof allow sunlight in, so you really don't have any problems with seeing anything.
Lubella isn't sure she wants to contribute to Barzillai Thrune's "doghousing" project. I suppose the beast could be used as some sort of ruse involving the dottari, but I don't have any bright ideas right now.
Do we know about Doghousing yet? Sorry I tend to err on the side of Felicia being oblivious because I have read it and don't always remember where player knowledge ends.
I wish one of us had handle animal, the rebellion could use a mascot!
Sorry all, I've had a heck of a time getting on Paizo from work lately. Thankfully things are stabilizing at home somewhat, so I should be better to post from there.
My apologies - work's been hell, free time has been scarce, and that's to say nothing of the outages. I will probably update tomorrow. Also, has anyone heard from Felicia?
I apologize. I have been struggling to catch up overall, but I think I am finally. I missed quite a few posts before trying so I put this one off a bit longer as it could go without me at least through combat. I'm back and i'll be caught up and posting by the end of the day for sure.
Well, poop. You can all tell that it's magical, but can't quite make out what it does. It's only a faint aura of magic, so you can tell it's not especially powerful.
I am always getting a little mixed up when you post the inits because one of the other games I'm in on this forum I play a Felicia. I have to stop myself each time. :)
Just a heads up GM, I may be scarce over the next few days, as I have some twelve hour work days. Felicia will continue to attack as well as step each round to make way for rexus' spell and set up a flank. If she gets hit again she'll use dodging panache thereafter to avoid much more than half hp damage.
Also, she should incessantly complain about the smell ;)
I might be around but if my turn comes up bot me without hesitation plz.
