GM Aarvid: Am I correct that some foreign trade goes out of the old harbor (fish, salt, building materials)? Is Lubella aware of any such vessels in port at the moment.

I'm assuming that the boat is close enough to the rendezvous point, that it would look suspicious if the captain turned the boat around. Lubella is just going to act like everything is normal and try to bluff her way through through the problem. Luckily, everyone has a good bluff skill. :)

With regards to the expenses involved in transporting the textiles, let's reimburse those out of the final sale price. I think that's 11 GP total (10 for the boat and 1 for the laborers), unless I'm missing something.

Fellow PCs: We have a fair chunk of valuables in the loot sheet. Between just the pearls and proceeds from the textiles, it's about 1000 gold (or 250 each). Should we divvy that up or is there a group purchase we should look into making (e.g., wand of cure light or infernal healing)?

GM: Aldren definitely would have wanted to buy a bottle of rum at Clenchjaws. Is that okay and, if so, how much should I deduct?

Then unsold loot is left over from stuff we collected at 1st lvl. The two previous PCs took their share when they departed, leaving Arcos and Lubella with the remainder, which we haven't had a chance to sell yet (Arcos and Lubella have only their starting money from 1st lvl so far).

I am fine OK with Aldren and Talvek getting a share of the textiles, since there was some work to do selling them. Lubella jumped the gun a bit and used some of her proceeds from the textiles to buy a masterwork backpack (I'll deduct that when we divide the money).

The Silver Ravels treasury should get a small contribution.

For healing wands, Lubella will stick with Cure Light Wounds; she's not interested in Infernal Healing.

Totally reasonable and fair on the loot collected at first level. I hadn’t thought of that when suggesting it be divvied up.

That said, on a wand, a first level spell will cost 750 gold. Aldren share of the textiles isn’t going to cover a 1/4 of that (even adding in the 50gp he kept from character creation), so I think it’ll have to wait.

What with Channel Energy, and some CLW spells from Lubella, I think we're OK for healing for now.

Lubella's priority is to buy a small mithril scimitar (1015GP), before we run into more devils, (or a certain supposed half-devil).

I wonder if we can 'recruit' Julessa and the Owl Bakery as some sort of Rebellion Team. I liked the basing our medical outreach and food distribution from there.

I think you need Detect Magic or Identify to determine the properties of a magic item with Spellcraft, which is unfortunate (it would be really nice to know what those raven figurines do).

Arcos has a pretty good Spellcraft modifier. We can also consider buying Talvek a scroll of identify with party funds, so he can add it to his formula book.

Rebellion Actions (2):

-We definitely want to recruit supporters (we always want to do this, until we're at the max allowable rank for Book 1 — rank 5).
-For our second action, we could either promote the peddlers team to merchants (so they would earn more money with the Earn Gold action), or we could recruit another team.

Edit: Or, we could make the peddlers happy and allow them to Earn Gold.

I'll note that Lubella is the most effective person to manage teams at the moment (+4 on the checks of her teams).

GM Aarvid: Could we 'recruit' Julessa and the Owl Bakery a team? At your discretion, that could help us to advance the RP goal of healing and feeding the poor.

I would say Julessa and her friends/associates could definitely be a second team (in addition to the peddler's you already have).

Either as another set of Peddlers (raise funds, becoming merchants).
Although, of the three types of teams, probably they would start as Freedom Fighters (rescue/aid)

I do not see her group being Outlaws, per se.

I've edited the loot sheet and divided up the money from the textiles:

Everyone gets 90 GP each (Lubella has deducted 50 GP for her masterwork backpack).
The leftover 19 GP goes to the Silver Ravens treasury.

Everyone should carry a Silver Raven figurine (including Rexus and Laria), in case they need to send a message (which works like the Animal Messenger spell).

Edit: Math fail! Everyone gets 95 gp each, with the leftover 9 gp going to the Silver Ravens treasury.

Lubella is going to be carrying a Silver Raven figurine. My suggestion is that everyone (including Laria and Rexus) takes one, unless carrying capacity is an issue. At a minimum, each separate group heading out should have one.

Lubella is also buying 2 charcoal sticks and a sheet of paper, so she has something to write a note with. She already has thread for attaching the note to the raven figurine; she has 50 ft of thread: plenty for anyone who needs some.

Depending on the time of day, Lubella might have time to scout around the salt works, but Talvek could also do that after dark.

Whichever we do, I'm OK with GM Aarvid just narrating the results; things move slowly enough in PBP without spending several days roleplaying the scouting.

It sounds like a plan. I just need to know who is going where if there are any purchases for supplies or disguises.

Also if there will be any scouting prior to the actual "mission".

Finally, which of the core team is going where (path via city/bridge or harbor etc) on the mission and the target arrival time at the Salt Works.

We could buy a Disguise Kit, if people wanted. It's a bit pricey (5gp per disguise use), but allows for more diverse disguises. Lubella can use her Disguise skill on other people, I think.
The disguise will be a backup for Lubella; her main identity concealment will be via the bandana/hood method.

I guess Lubella might as well do some scouting ahead of time. Our plan is a night mission, so we want to arrive by 8 PM or so. I imagine we're going via the bridge. I'm presuming Vendalfek can fly across the harbor and meet us on the other side.
