Sylvia, Lore Warden |
"Many thanks, guv," Sylvia said with a smile as she accepted the items. "So, onwards and downwards! Chop chop, those bandits won't take care of themselves, luvs! Well, actually, they might, but what would be the fun in that?" With that cheerful exclamation, Sylvia turned and marched off in the direction they needed to go.

"interesting devices." Kavaki says as she inspects the items. Then looks around at the others and follows a cue to secure the presents in a safe location on the body. She then bow in gratitude, "I hope we don't need to use them, but thank you. A prepared person is destined for success."

Kavaki can cast light if we need a light source
"I have no preference either way, whatever the requirements of the group demand."
Sylvia, Lore Warden |
"So, not to really pry, but what brings lovelies like yourselves to a place like this?" Sylvia asked her new acquaintances as they walked behind the scouting Kavaki.
Jayla Talusia |
Had to look back a bit to get back on it... :)
Jayla calmly answers the question, after a quick exchange of glance with Valeria.
"We are in pursuit of scavengers, who have a 63% chance of being in possession of something we need. We were told Scrapwall would be our likely place to ask around.
How about yourselves?"
Kavaki Zhen |
"Should anyone care to say a prayer, there appear to be a former member of the living lying here."

Kavaki kneels by the corps and bows her head while she recites a prayer to Irori. The circuitry tattoos pulse with a glows while she is concentrating. Once completed, she conducts an investigation of the corpse to discern any cause of death.
Kavaki Zhen |
"Very curious. It would seem the life was drained from him without any physical trauma." Kavaki looks back at the other a bit bewildered. "Have any of you ever run across something that has the ability to drain life from the living?"
Sylvia, Lore Warden |
"Regardless, if he was here then the blighter was a bandit aand needs no fancy words said over his corpse," Sylvia said as she gave the body no more than a quick glance. "We should press on and stop the rest of his fellows and whatever killed him."
Xaikon Traxnik |
Hearing Jayla call out for her, she dives down at speed with folded wings. Close to the ground Xaikon opens her wings to do a gentle landing.
Onces on the ground she inspects her wounds, and casts a healing spell to heal her wounds.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Once done healing some of her wounds she looks up to see the new individuals standing beside her friends. "Hello there, I am Xiakon. Where are the bandits?"
Kavaki Zhen |
"Greetings. Nice to finally meet you properly. Jayla kept saying you were around."
"01001100011010... analyzing species... data corrupted. search results negative. 010110101011."
"I don't mean to be rude, but I'm unfamiliar with your kind. You seem similar to a drow, but the addition of the wings nullified that possiblility."
Sylvia, Lore Warden |
Slightly surprised by the landing of someone else, Sylvia gave the woman and good look. "I say, those are some very lovely wings you have there, my dear," she said appreciatively.
Xaikon Traxnik |
"I come from the western mountains of Cheliax, where we the Strix have our colony."
Looking at the new people, "How do I address you? Also what expertise do you bring to this place?"
Kavaki Zhen |
"My name is Kavaki Zhen. I bring the teachings of open hand of Irori. Balance, discipline, and self perfection. I am also familiar with aiding the body to recover from injury."
Sylvia, Lore Warden |
"Sylvia of the Pathfinders Society, at your service, luv," Sylvia said with a flourished bow. "I'm rather good at using my short blade here, and I'm fairly knowledgeable about many things."

Righto moving on
As you move along down the tunnel it doesn't take long before you come across another body and the culprit reveals itself.
A shade overs over the corpse a spectral form that resembles a knight in armour. The knight weeps uncontrollably and it gives you shivers as you hear it. He lets out a tortured, sobbing cry "Justinia! Were are you!"
"Aldronard" whispers the paladin captain "I feared as much he has was consumed in darkness before and the destruction of the outpost only made it worst. He sobs for his wife who was slain by bandits while travelling to come meet him while he was fighting on the front. When he learned the news he went mad with grief and killed his own men for failing to protect her then committed suicide to join her but for whatever reason he has lingered here as a wraith ever since."
The wraith doesn't attack right away so you get go first.
Jayla Talusia |
Righto...as well.
I'm useless here, i have no magical weapons.
Val, firebreath?
Jayla is unfazed by the sight.
"Unfortunate for the knight, but killing over something out of his hands is futile, it serves no sensible purpose."
Sylvia, Lore Warden |
"So tragic," Sylvia said softly. Steeling her nerves, though, she was quick to apply the oil she was given to her gladius. "However, regardless of his past, it is his present we must deal with."

You wouldn't know much other than standard undead weaknesses and that it's incorporeal.
No Constitution score. Undead use their Charisma score in place of their Constitution score when calculating hit points, Fortitude saves, and any special ability that relies on Constitution(such as when calculating a breath weapon’s DC).
Darkvision 60 feet.
Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms).
Immunity to bleed, death effects, disease, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
Not subject to nonlethal damage, ability drain, or energy drain. Immune to damage to its physical ability scores (Constitution, Dexterity, and Strength), as well as to exhaustion and fatigue effects.
Cannot heal damage on its own if it has no Intelligence score, although it can be healed. Negative energy (such as an inflict spell) can heal undead creatures. The fast healing special quality works regardless of the creature's Intelligence score.
Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless).
Not at risk of death from massive damage, but is immediately destroyed when reduced to 0 hit points.
Not affected by raise dead and reincarnate spells or abilities. Resurrection and true resurrection can affect undead creatures. These spells turn undead creatures back into the living creatures they were before becoming undead.
Incorporeal (Ex)
An incorporeal creature has no physical body. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, and spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities. It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.
An incorporeal creature has no natural armor bonus but has a deflection bonus equal to its Charisma bonus (always at least +1, even if the creature’s Charisma score does not normally provide a bonus).
An incorporeal creature can enter or pass through solid objects, but must remain adjacent to the object’s exterior, and so cannot pass entirely through an object whose space is larger than its own. It can sense the presence of creatures or objects within a square adjacent to its current location, but enemies have total concealment (50% miss chance) from an incorporeal creature that is inside an object. In order to see beyond the object it is in and attack normally, the incorporeal creature must emerge. An incorporeal creature inside an object has total cover, but when it attacks a creature outside the object it only has cover, so a creature outside with a readied action could strike at it as it attacks. An incorporeal creature cannot pass through a force effect.
An incorporeal creature’s attacks pass through (ignore) natural armor, armor, and shields, although deflection bonuses and force effects (such as mage armor) work normally against it. Incorporeal creatures pass through and operate in water as easily as they do in air. Incorporeal creatures cannot fall or take falling damage. Incorporeal creatures cannot make trip or grapple attacks, nor can they be tripped or grappled. In fact, they cannot take any physical action that would move or manipulate an opponent or its equipment, nor are they subject to such actions. Incorporeal creatures have no weight and do not set off traps that are triggered by weight.
An incorporeal creature moves silently and cannot be heard with Perception checks if it doesn’t wish to be. It has no Strength score, so its Dexterity modifier applies to its melee attacks, ranged attacks, and CMB. Nonvisual senses, such as scent and blindsight, are either ineffective or only partly effective with regard to incorporeal creatures. Incorporeal creatures have an innate sense of direction and can move at full speed even when they cannot see.

Kavaki Zhen |
"If he is suffering, then we should help heal him." Kavaki moves up and touches the creature, saying a prayer to Irori.
By expending one use of fervor, a good warpriest (or one who worships a good deity) can touch a creature to heal it of 1d6 points of damage + an additional 1d6 points for every 3 warpriest levels he possesses beyond 2nd (to a maximum of 7d6 at 20th level). Using this ability is a standard action (unless the warpriest targets himself, in which case it's a swift action). Alternatively, the warpriest can use this ability to harm an undead creature, dealing the same amount of damage he would otherwise heal with a melee touch attack. Using fervor in this way is a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity. Undead do not receive a saving throw against this damage. This use of fervor counts as positive energy.
