Numeria has a long history of mystery and wonder buried under its rugged landscape, for on that one fateful night thousands of years ago, the Rain of Stars scarred the land. The fragmented remnants of a ship from beyond the stars fell from the sky, scattering strange technological ruins and deadly perils across the land. Today, these sites are feared by the barbaric tribes and coveted by the sinister spellcasters of the Technic League. Yet something worse than brutish berserker or super-science wizards has risen to power in these hidden technological ruins.
Something stirs in the shadows of Numeria and unless someone figures it out the whole world could be in danger.
Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.
Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.
if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.
Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.
Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...
Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: You are villains. Villains are smart, resourceful and have style! Have you ever seen a memorable villain that could just swing his sword and do nothing more?
Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).
Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

"Ich habe Sie, meine kleine Kobold Freund.
Wir haben einige Fragen, die Beantwortung benötigen.
Wenn Sie richtig beantworten Sie werden vielleicht nicht verärgern diese Tochter eines Drachen."
Draconic:
"I have you, my little kobold friend.
We have some questions that need answering.
If you answer correctly You might not anger this Daughter of a Dragon."

Alvoise growls, angry that these kobolds have injured him so terribly. He flourishes his rapier as he advances towards the kobold. He thrusts, but at the last moment eases his attack to take the kobold alive, heeding the words of his party members.

Henric moves in on the remaining kobold, his thin blade flashing in the dim light. "C'mon, yeh rat, yeh wanna keep foitin'?" he asks, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
Double-move, since I can't reach the last kobold in one move. Moving to D9 if possible.
Xiakon looks for her next target to see to see one standing and the other being grabbed tightly by Valeria. She lifts Krist to her shoulder before moving towards Valeria with another arrow notched, all the while keeping an eye out on the tunnels for more kobolts.

"Slaves, eh?" the Varisian man asks with a bark of laughter. "Yeh've go' some kin'a nerve suggestin' tha' after we..." He trails off, looking around the cavern in confusion as the strange accent fades and his posture returns to his usual tall stance. "What in the nine hells...?" he mutters to himself.
it happened again it always does in these circumstances you knew that well id forgotten its been a while no it hasnt why dont you just let me think so i can
He shakes his head, pressing the fingertips of his left hand to his temple briefly before cleaning his sword on a handkerchief. "Well. It appears we have ourselves a pair of captives," he remarks, keeping an eye on the kobold not currently in the clutches of a large, angry woman. "Shall we escort these two undesirables outside?"
In Draconic, he adds to the two creatures, "Ich hätte keine hastigen Bewegungen zu empfehlen. Wenn sie Drachenblut, bin ich sicher, dass Sie genau wissen, was sie zu Ihren gebrechlichen Körper tun konnte, sind."
Draconic:
"I would recommend no hasty movements. If she is dragon-blooded, I am sure you are well aware of what she could do to your frail bodies."
Disclaimer: I don't speak German; I used Google Translate for effect. I like using different real-world languages to represent different fictional languages, and while I wouldn't have picked German for Draconic, I'll go with it since it's already been established. =)

Her metallic eyes glance over the kobolts before meeting Valeria's.
"Are they worth keeping alive? If even one sneaks away that one causes a safety risk."

To be fair, tieflings often have horns as well, and are far more common than half-dragons. "When you hear hoof-beats, you think of horses, not zebras." Also, there isn't a link to a picture in Valeria's profile, nor are the horns mentioned in her physical description. I know you've posted images of her before, but since this is a slow-moving game, it's easy to forget what's been done.
I guess we're just not a perceptive bunch - nobody's noticed Henric dropping a contact lens to show a solid white eye, bleeding clear blood, or waking up with blue skin! :P

They have contact lenzes in golarion?.... ;)
Btw Henric, that's no more unusual than pale skin and metallic eyes, why, you want me to roll perception? I've not been too shabby on those...

True, true. It's just weird being the only one in a group of 'freaks' actively trying to pass for human. Though no less than two human races have pale skin (Chelaxian and Ulfen), and metallic eyes are usually a sign of an aasimar, tiefling, or any other planetouched race - all of which are arguably more common than the races we're playing here. I've played in games where no less than eight aasimar PCs have been described as having 'metalic eyes'. -__-
Regarding contact lenses, well, I may be taking some liberties. I believe simlar things have been mentioned in sourcebooks before, and it was simply the easiest means to disguise the character's eyes. It was either that, or have him pretending to be blind, which would invalidate him in combat and not be as much fun! :P
And hey, I've been asking for disguise checks. I mean, it would be too easy to just not havea risk of being caught. ;-)
Kinda funny, when I think about it. In a group where one person's an inorganic being and another has wings and talons, the guy trying to hide his race looks like a human with a weird skin colour!
F Android Slayer lvl 5. HP 46/46, AC 21/16/16, Init+5, Perc.+9, Fort+5 Ref+9 Will+3
Yeah, i wondered about the inorganic. Androids are made, but despite being a synthetic species, they can ingest potions to gain benefit from them. They bleed too, so there's some unknown internal system. But the thing they truly lack is a soul....once they're "dead" it's all over, nothing to save them. Unless some very loose liberties are taken on rebooting their systems, but that's just speculating on the internal workings of synths.
Eight aasimar with "metallic eyes"...to each their own, but i say machines and androids call dibs on that. Teal/shiny/whatever for true organics :)
Xaikon was up and outside on the roof when most were starting to wake up. So would miss the eye lens, wrong skin colour. Also we fighting in the dark here, so no sense of colour available, to see blood. Rather hard to pass as a human with huge wings attached, even if they covered by the cape.

”Slaves?” Alvoise says, his voice harsh. He sheathes his rapier and examines his wounds. ”Bought with our blood,” a groan punctuates his words. ”I like the idea of guiding us, so long it’s not into a trap. I don’t like the idea of slavery though. What’re their names?”
Alvoise wipes the grime and blood from his hands, then rolls a cigarette. He sparks a flame on the end and takes a drag. ”Give me a few minutes to recover from that. I thought I was about to die for a moment.”
Xaikon decides to walk over to the kobolds she shot to exam them for any possible clues and items of value, and if possibly salvage her used arrows from them, either to clean, or use to make new arrows.

”So the disease didn’t infect the kobolds? They arrived after and drove off the rest of the humans,” Alvoise asks Valeria after she translates the kobold’s answer. ”He said a ‘big band opened the way’ — is that a big band of kobolds or something else?”
The chunks of silver ore can be salvaged and are worth 200 gp.
You find nothing else of value here.
Additional information you get from the kobolts:
• The kobolds are very nervous and would like to leave the mines as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, their chieftain and shaman has determined that they must stay.
• Some manner of creature has been stealing members from their camp while they sleep, they never see it but they hear it slithering in the dark from time to time.
• There must be a curse to this mine. Since they have taken the mine Half of their band has already died from strange fevers and horrible coughs or vanished during the night.
• The kobolt shaman has a cure to the plague but it doesn't always work. He claims that those who died were "unworthy". The dead bodies vanish soon after.

”That’s a good idea,” Alvoise says, ”What should we do with the dead kobolds? Are they buried in the ground, cremated, left under a cairn? So the disease that ravaged the village is with the kobolds now. Doesn’t that mean it’s likely if the mine reopens the village will have another plague? Maybe you can make this shaman’s cure better, Henric.”
You bring the silver back to Silas who is intrigued to learn you have encountered kobolts. "So it was just kobolts that took the mine then? I expected something far worst!"
Seeing you are injured he offers you some healing potions on credit. Their value can be removed from your later pay.
"Hmm interesting, see if you can find out what that creature is and if you can kill it. Afterwards it should be a simple matter to drive out the kobolts and reclaim the mine. This could turn out to be a very profitable enterprise!" replies Silas

"But given certain views on the law, the mine is theirs since they are working it.
But if the disease that wiped out the people is also wiping out the Kobolds, I think the mine should remain closed until you can get someone to clean it of the disease, and clean it through."
