Alrighty...I have 2 heroisms that I can give out before we go in. They each last 40 minutes, so no worries with time. Who wants them?

![]() |

Uhh.... All of us? :)
I would love one, but if it makes more sense to give it to others, then by all means. I plan to make full use of my new daredevil boots, so I will be making (hopefully) plenty of skill checks along with attack rolls...

![]() |

Yeah, we pretty much all want that - but whomever you pick, no worries.
As a side, unfortunately I blew a casting of Cat's Grace for naught, and we wasted what 6 bears endurance, but with my rolls of 2, I would have been turned to stone I think, so at least I got that going for me.

![]() |

wasted is a relative term.
Miro, I'd love one, being that I am a front line melee specialist, but you are welcome to choose. :D
Who has the orb? I assume Finarin does?

![]() |

Cyrus, why don't you wait to cast the energy resistance. We should all be able to take a single hit. But, it is definitely up to you.

![]() |

Yea, I am waiting, assuming there could be some time in between opening the door and any encounter. Odds are there is another encounter or two between us and the bbeg anyways... Worst case is I am a round slower in my actions. Worth the wait...
I would vote for gunari for heroism, and one of Finarin, Amaranti, or myself. Actually.... Now that I think about it, ibid would be a pretty good choice, between knowledge checks and two arrows a round... Ibid might be the most bang for your buck...

I get an attack reroll on every attack... as long as I only attack once per round... but, I don't reroll on crit chances.
However, if you think someone else should get it, that's fine, too.
Do we want to spread out a bunch more Bear's Endurances?

![]() |

Well, just thinking that since it doesn't increase damage, only the possibility of hitting (and Gunari has two chances with every strike), that it might be more worthwhile on Finarin (although I have to admit some of his rolling stuff he has going on has my brain shutting down at times).
I would say Ibid and Finarin, if no one has strong objections?

![]() |

I'm cool with anything!
Also, this group is amazing.
I was tied up all day, and finally got time to post. I was nearly 30 posts behind from today alone. That is insane, but in the most amazing way. I got to sit back and read a few pages of the novelization of the Drongos' exploits.
Thanks for the great read everyone.

![]() |

I think that's a good choice Miro.
And yes, a few more Bear's endurance might be a good touch... we will have a few minutes for those so hopefully into at least one encounter... assuming it is a combat.

![]() |

Did we still have Bear's Endurances left? If so, Amaranti would sure like one...
I rearranged the formation a bit to make room for enlarged Kaisharga, hope you don't mind...

![]() |

We have six charges left so we'll give Amaranti and Cyrus a charge.

GM Damo |

Just by the way, without the bear's endurance earlier both Miro and Finarin would have been statues... then Finarin wouldn't have tried his bluff and more of you may have been statues!!! Totally not a wasted set of charges.

Ok, so I am ill suited once again to this skill challenge. My best rolls are #4 at +8 (w/ Heroism), and #3, 9, & 10 at +6.
#1, 2, 5, 6, & 8 I have no trained skills.
I guess that Miro, Ibid, and Gunari should do ok since they are Kn checks, and I am pretty sure Gunari has Kn Engineering.
Oh, and my Bluff/Perform (dance) are 2 & 4 respectively.

![]() |

Should have checked this first - although I think the only skills I really have in this are less than FInarins - I took #3 and #10.
Finarin, I think you should just give #4 and #9 a shot - what is the worst that could happen? :)

GM Damo |

There is no penalty for failure (though you can't retry knowledge checks). Just keep your mouth shut or bluff (or perform, night elf style) if you don't pass the DC! Yeah, so just roll it out and see how you go.

![]() |

So, Amaranti... a haste would be GREAT right about now. Gunari's gonna need the speed.

![]() |

Here you go, was saving it for the BBEG... :)

Dancing the Dhaanto: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Can I free folio reroll? If not no worries :)
Dancing the Dhaanto: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Chronicle #12, WBG2 was #11.
Thanks as always!

sleight of hand: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

Thanks for running it, GM Damo. It was a ton of fun :)
Day Job Roll (using information broker boon)
knowledge(local): 1d20 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 10 + (2) = 19

![]() |

So Miro, Ibid, Finarin, and Cyrus are all the same level now? Yeah!

![]() |

Looks like this is Gunari's cron #15
Still no day job... but he spends his Family Tradition buying drinks in celebration of a job well done!
Sorry, no rerolls on day job checks.
Are shirt rerolls are allowed on day job checks?
Yes.
Also, there's gonna be a BIG purchase for Gunari next. But, will he get to play again? *sniff*

GM Damo |

Wow. Thanks for the info, Gunari. @Finarin, I do apologize. I could swear I read that rerolls couldn't be used for day-job checks. It was probably something else (probably vanity related).
Please, allow me to make your reroll for you.
Finarin's Dhaanto (re-roll): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Ha! Gotta go with my rolls every time. ;-)

GM Damo |

Oh, we're all done except Miro. I'll leave the Chronicle # blank.
If you don't mind, I've got time now but won't have time for a little while to do the chronicle sheets.
Miro day job, perform (singing): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

That's fine, Damo. Was at the State Science Fair with two of my little ones today. This would be Chronicle 11 for Miro (and WBG2 will make 12). I think!
