As for Hampering in battle, I would count it as a dismount action if Odak assists. Its basically how a little kid gets off an adult's shoulders.

That's when you invest in cat boots, the ones where you take minimum dmg from a fall. Trust me. I plan on letting Odak throw me into battle once or twice. My small size helps with that. Well in comparison to Odak anyways.

Boots of the Cat. Only reason I know about them is because I played an item creation specialist and so I learned those rules very well.
And got familiar with many of the items. Those boots I gave to my mage because me and someone else ALWAYS went over the cliff and they refused to give up their boots so i had to cast featherfall on them.

Those can be tamed actually. But yeah that would be conditional on if it is around or such. But I see no real problem with it myself. I have the book for prices for such things if it does come up.

Oh that I understand. Just my love for the beasts and never knew could have one as a potential mount ever. I mean sure being a monk could in time walk normally faster then about any mount can think of that would be at a brisk walk.

As a note, dinosaurs do live over the western range, along with gnoll and other nasties. Some times you may find one for sale. You could look for one (hmm possible future scenario, dinosaur hunting. Great chief wants dino cavalry)

Oh, I can think of a couple. Heh, problem is can't think of a mount that would really work for Tigerwolf considering. The one animal that would sort of fit wouldn't be big enough.

I'm only using Dergosh when I want to throw out some dialogue or knowledge that he has as indicated by checks. Any real actions -- diplomatic (with Dergosh? ha ha) or combat or party direction I'd look to you to make the decisions since I (kinda) know what's coming.
If it was up to Dergosh, he'd wade into the lake and start beating on his shield-drum to get the wugaloo's attention.
