Starting fresh would be better for new players. I need a bit of time to think about a new character. Probably just this weekend.

Also, I will be gone without internet access July 14-22. I don’t know how fast you want to start back up but I would need botting then.
DM KLS |
Botting wouldn't be too much of an issue. If anything, your character could just pop in at a convenient certain time lol. That way you don't have to worry about getting a post in and then having to be botted right away. I'll wait until everyone chimes in before making a final decision. I know what I want to do, but what you guys think is also a big factor.

We didn't really get very far. It doesn't make too much difference if we redo one encounter, I suppose. New players will all be first level anyway!

Characters sitting on the shelf that I could tweak and re-use:
* Nilah Sevrom, Tiefling Magus (Eldritch Scion): A tiefling who's the result of a keleshite nobles' pact with a demon. Her life in that family is oppressive so she eventually runs away FUN FACT this was the other character I originally submitted to this campaign :) She got into another game (Forgotten realms) which sadly died after a very promising start.
* Vulas Rockslide (Dwarf Inquisitor/maybe multi-class monk) a gruff, punisher-style dwarven inquisitor of Torag who roams the countryside, routing out enemies of the faith.
* Sergil Dalcanu (Human Cavalier): raised in a household sympathetic to the house Thrune, in Cheliax, Sergil struck out on his own to fight for the oppressed. While tracking slave traders he lands in strix territory and is forced to fight through them. After dealing with his target he finds an orphaned, adolesent strix left behind in the nest. She doesn't realized what has happened and begins to follow him everywhere. NOTE this character works best if another player takes on the role of that young strix.
* Argil Dust (half-orc inquisitor) - Became horribly disfigured in a fire caused by his brother. Afterward they were forced to roam Varisia, Argil wearing a mask most of the time. The brothers are both good, but often find themselves dealing with negative prejudices about half-orcs. NOTE another half-orc as his brother would be cool, but is not strictly required for this one to work.
I also have no qualms about creating a new character, or seeing what new players do before deciding what might fit/complement. If any of these sound particularly fun to play alongside or help the GM, let me know!

Cool. I'll revert her backstory from forgotten realms to Golarion. I assume you're keeping character creation parameters the same as before? I probably have a bit of tweaking to do there.
Finally, I'd like permission to apply the Fiendish Sorcery racial trait to the Eldtritch Scion's sorcerer-like spontaneous casting and bloodline abilities.
Rules-as-written, this only applies to the sorcerer class, but IMHO could/should apply to the magus using those same abilities. The racial trait is to make up for tieflings who want to take CHA-based spellcasting, seeing as how they have -2 CHA, so it's not really overpowering.
An eldritch scion's selection of spells is limited. He has the same number of spells known as a bard of the same level, and can choose new spells to replace old ones at 5th level and every 3 class levels thereafter, just as a bard does. See the bard for more information on swapping spells known. This ability replaces the magus's spells class feature.
Bloodline: An eldritch scion gains a bloodrager bloodline. The bloodline is selected at 1st level, and this choice cannot be changed. An eldritch scion's effective bloodrager level for his bloodline abilities is equal to his eldritch scion level. He does not gain any bonus feats, and he gains bonus spells from his bloodline at different levels (see the bonus spell class feature, below). To use any ability that normally functions when he's in a bloodrage, an eldritch scion must spend 1 point from his eldritch pool.
If an eldritch scion takes levels in another class that grants a bloodline, the bloodlines must be of the same type, even if that means that the bloodline of one of the classes must change. Subject to GM approval, an eldritch scion can change his previous bloodline to make them conform.
This ability replaces spell recall.

Another option just occurred to me: the Blood of Fiends player companion has tiefling "heritages", which for different lines of ancestry alter the racial ability score modifiers. I might just pick one of those that bumps CHA.

Hey y'all! Good to be back.
I don't mind if we start from the beginning, for the same reasons described above. We didn't get very far, so it won't be very much to make up.

That sounds good Pale. That'll help give a better insight to what kind of pact was made due to the kind of fiend it was made with. And since you guys are okay with the reset, I'll post recruitment tomorrow and let it go a couple of days. It'll be same creation rules, so if you wanna tweak, I'll be okay with that.

I'll do a story/background update first, by late Monday evening. I'll update the stats by sometime Tuesday.

Appearance, personality, background all updated. Crunch stats will be updated tomorrow evening.
