I'm wrapping up my semester this week and looking forward to a break from work until Jan (work in education), so pretty good!

Completely understandable lol, I know that feeling myself. If Yeda and Eloen can post their actions, then I should be able to get this back going again guys, and thank you for your patience!

Darn, guess my cleave didn’t slice through the 2nd goblin :D. I’ll go put in my action to continue fighting that group in the next couple of hours.

Hi guys, holiday madness has begun, so please excuse my reduced posting until the middle of next week. Happy Holidays to all of you!

Same here lol. I meant to post the other day, but obviously that didn't happen. It's gonna be a few days for me, but happy holidays to everyone!

I hope holidays are going well for everyone! New years is still gonna be a little hectic for me, but hopefully we can get another round or two of combat in!

I'm having a far too relaxing time, plenty of great food and company! I am really enjoying the relaxed pace at the moment, no need to rush :)

I'm gonna be super disappointed if Galeas dies during the first combat of the campaign (and of my PBP career haha!). These dice have been punishing us so far, we must have all of our bad rolls out of the way by now, right? :P

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of killing characters right off the bat either lol. But I'm also not one of those GM's who's just gonna straight ignore things and change the tide for no apparent logical reason. I'll drop a character for sure lol, but I don't aim to downright slay a character off the bat.

Well, he's close to zero, but not close to death. That would be at -14 (your negative CON). We're so close to ending this that even if you drop to or below zero I'm imagining we can stabilize and heal you soon enough (being right in front of a shiny brand new church... they've gotta be good for something :P).

@Yeda, yeah that's true. I have complete faith in us as a party though, we can do this!

Damn. Those rolls, last time I had those, it was in a fight with a dragon that led to my character's epic death lol.

With the goblins up first, just want to note Ward is active on Galeas. +2 AC and saves until struck or failed save.

Noted and fixed. I appreciate you guys keeping me informed of what you have up and do not. I didn't carry over the bless from earlier as there were only 4 rounds left, which would've expired during the course of the conversation and travel up to the new area of combat. Once you start to have effects that last much longer than just mere rounds, I'll do my best to gauge how long they'll have remaining based on an approximate gauged guess on what happens in between occurrences.

Hey GM, on a completely unrelated note, where do you get your battle maps from?

Mostly Paizo. Every now and then I'll go for something different, but it depends on circumstance, but I've got a fair amount of different kinds of maps.

I'm delighted the spell was effective, but out of fairness the goblins should be able to take their full turns before it has any effect. I.e. as a full round cast it shouldn't take effect until just before Kera's next turn. I'm not clear if that's how you resolved it or not (if so, just disregard this ramble...).

They actually did take their turns. They were just pre occupied with their focus until Eloen let loose an arrow at them. The only one that didn't get a full turn was the creepy looking dog. I didn't run it as a surprise attack situation however because you guys didn't seem to have the intention of sneaking up to whatever was going on. And since they had the higher initiative rolls, I kept their focus on what they were already doing.

Okay, thanks for clarifying. I actually feel a lot better :p!

No worries. I don't run tactics like other GM's might. Depending on the creatures, groups, and the circumstance, my tactics will always differ, sometimes even from what's written.

FYI, I will be away from computers for most of the day Saturday (US/Pacific time). Will be able to catch up late that evening.

Sorry for the last few days. Been crazy lol. So there is a result for the knowledge, but I don't have my notes and book with me. My old and new place are an hour apart, so I'll be back there tomorrow to get more stuff, and I'll certainly grab that lol.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates guys. I started working my new job yesterday which is awesome, but the time frame in which trying to get stuff done at the new house is absolutely nothing but hectic. We've got boxes stacked that haven't been touched since Saturday in our living room just because our timing to do anything has been horrendous.

I went through something similar last summer. New job, new house. Hang in there.

Just a heads up, I'm going to be away on a camping trip next weekend. So I'll be away from computers and probably with a bad phone signal all day Feb 10 & 11, US/Pacific time. I will likely be able to catch up late on the 11th.

Obviously that hasn't happened. At this point because crap refuses to actually go right, I'm gonna have to put this on hold. Once things actually stop falling to crap, I'll message you guys and we can go from there.

Hope things start going better for you. I've got no specific time limits on this myself. When we get started again we'll have to take stock of whether any other players have departed.

Livin life for sure lol. Things are starting to calm down, but trying to schedule everything to where I can have time to get everything going is the fun part right now.

Well, this campaign has been deactivated (I assume by the GM?), so I guess that makes it official. Hope life is going smoothly for all.

So after giving a week waiting for responses, it seems as it's going to be only Eloen and Farumph as the two characters that can come back, and PaleDim doing a new character as Yeda is in another game. Kera won't be able to come back, and Galeas seems to have disappeared. So I'll leave it up to you guys if you want to pick up and we'll get one or two more people to join in with Pale's new character, or if you want to start fresh since we hadn't really gotten anywhere yet.
