The unsuspecting ogres close, apparently expecting to get within javelin range of the visible party members before launching. Trox cuts down the first one, who dies before it can process what just happened. Skarn wounds his before Trox finishes it; the rest of the ogres are out of Skarn's reach, so if he wants to attack he'll have to step up.

In the new round, he'll attack the same one...

A voice from no where, "Let me go boss I can rip these giants to pieces."
Erond rebuts, "You're a house cat. I don't believe you."
"Don't summon a powerful devil and not use me to dominate lesser beings."
Erond responds, "You're an imp."
"I'm a Consular."
Erond rolls his eyes "You keep saying that and I don't know what it means. Also I'm trying to fight, so keep it down and make sure nothing gets to close."

Skarn hits his again but doesn't drop it. Cordwin fires on the same one, though, and finishes it off. Trox steps up and badly wounds his, while Erond fires through the gap and drops two more. Erond and Cordwin, don't forget to keep track of your ammunition use.

As the ogres engage, or rather, are beset upon, Druamin grins. He takes a few seconds and casts a spell in the direction of Trox and Erond. Their weapons take on a gleam. "Ok guys, don't cut yourself now. Your weapons are extra sharp!" He chuckles then turns to Kobu. "It's your turn now too. Just don't get hurt, ok?"
Kobu prances in place a couple beats then charges forward. When he's in reach he smacks his quill-filled tail at the ogre.

Skarn, I think you have to step before the first strike (i.e., you can't take a 5' step between blows to perform a Cleave followup attack), but that doesn't change anything in this case.

Skarn and Kubo badly wound the red ogre, but can't manage to drop it. Then more ogres, including one in better armor and carrying an ogre hook instead of a greatclub, mob the line. None of them can manage to hit, though (because the GM can't roll over 9). The remaining half-dozen launch a flight of javelins at Erond; one comes close, but the cleric takes no damage.

Ok, put me down for having cast Bless for +1/0 and Prayer for +1/+1
That will sum to:

Trox hits the ogre once, but his second blow glances off of the creature's hide armor. Skarn cuts down both of the badly wounded ogres in the front line, and then Cordwin and Kubo direct their attacks at the last ogre in front. It goes down as well.
As the next trio advances, the leader steps into a flank on Trox and hammers at the fighter, hitting him once for 31 HP. Its followup attack misses, as do all of the other melee ogres. The javelin flight at Erond also misses.

Crossposted with Druamin. Given that there are no ogres in range of Kubo, I'll assume he waits until they close so he can attack without taking an AoO.
Skarn wounds two, then Erond finishes them off with an arrow each and takes out a third with his third and fourth arrows. Trox hits the leader once, but Cordwin's crossbow bolt fails to get through its armor. Kubo scuttles forward and swats at one of the remaining ogres as it closes, doing it some damage. None of the line ogres manage to connect, but one gets in position to distract Trox at just the wrong moment for the leader to land a devastating blow on him. Take 80 HP, Trox. One thing I'm not liking about Badger's Ferocity is that I have to spend my standard action each turn to keep it up. But letting Trox and Erond get better crits is probably better than having me in the battle. Especially since Kobu is doing dmg for me.

Not sure which way to step to get the leader but a 5ft step is involved in that direction.
