The three hags are caught in a bitter blast of cold! Ice coats the walls of the cavern as heat is sapped out of them. Only the demonic hag seems to manage to stand firm against the blast, emerging entirely unaffected (seems immune to cold). The frost and Kargas' attack are too severe an assault for the brutish hag. She lets out of gurgling scream as she expires.

The crackling hag points down at Kellek and unleashes a bolt of lightning.

Kellek Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

He's caught off-guard by the bolt and it passes through his outstretched hands (Dealing 22 dmg) Meanwhile, the demonic hag points at Kargas and pummels him with a volley of magic missiles. (Dealing 11 dmg) The two remaining hags rise up toward the ceiling, now 15ft above the floor below.

Guiness moves up towards the purple Hag, though she lurks too high for him to reach with his hammer, so he transfers his flaming war hammer to his shield hand and pulls a throwing hammer from his belt as he moves forward, hurling it at the purple hag. ”Gotta get me some boots with lifts in them,” he mutters as the hags float out of reach.

Coughing and trying to pull his hair back down into place Kellek summons up another spell pouring much of his remaining energy into it. He makes a grabbing motion with his hands in the direction of the electrically-charge hag.

Kellek casts telekinesis vs lightning hag (light blue?) attempting to pull her out of the air. He uses his arcane reservoir to add 2 to the caster level.

Kellek recognizes the two hags as a storm hag and a night hag. He knows a bit about each type, recognizing both as spellcasters. He knows that night hags are extraplanar beings protected from heat, cold, and most types of magic. Their resistance to physical harm can only be defeated by magical cold iron weapons. Storm hags on the other hand shrug off electricity and have power over winds.

While Kargas flies up and into position, Guiness' hammer throw collides head-on with night hag. However, despite the strength behind the throw, she barely flinches. (no damage!) With Guiness' efforts not leading to a flank, Kargas strikes out on his own. His blade cuts past the night hag's guard, though it doesn't cut in as deep as he would expect.

Colvyn's arrow stabs into the storm hag, leaving her glowering at him. Kellek's telekinetic grapple attempts to grasp the storm hag, but she flies free before he can solidify his grip. Astrid advances forward, catching up to Guiness and tapping him on the back with a spell! Guiness suddenly feels a lot lighter and finds himself able to maneuver in the air! (Botted Astrid to cast fly. Hope that's OK)

Upon Astrid's entry, the storm hag breaks into an ugly smile "There you are girl. You came as called. As called! Now, kill these idiots with us!"

The night hag lashes out at Kargas with her claws and jaws. His mirror image protects him from one claw, but the other two attacks rake across him. (9 dmg and 14 dmg after DR)

Kargas Fort: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

As the night hag pulls back, he notices her bared teeth are stained a strange blue. A moment later, he's hit by a burning pain radiating from where he was bitten. Infected by demon fever. Kargas takes 1 pt of CON damage. The storm hag raises her hands and shouts out "Come, winter! Come, stars! Come, death!" Her hands glow a brilliant blue and a suddenly sleet storm manifests inside their chamber! (Entire area within the blue circle) In moments you can't see beyond the tip of your nose!

Sleet Storm:
Driving sleet blocks all sight (even darkvision) within it and causes the ground in the area to be icy. A creature can walk within or through the area of sleet at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can’t move in that round, while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details).

Can't actually see the area where the action is happening on my phone--it just shows me the area on the slide, so Kellek moves (half speed) to a place where he can see a hag and still be relatively safe from death. Once there he continues concentrating on telekinesis and tries to grab a hag again.

Alright so now I can see that the storm covers the whole area and everyone in it. For some reason I thought the spell inflicted damage as well. So in this case Kellek is going to have to drop telekinesis which is a shame and move back and out of sight to prepare since that is what the hags in the storm will be doing.

Her tough hide absorbs most of the blow, but yields enough to let Guiness know he's managed to hurt her. The grunt of pain helps as well.

Kargas' swings pass through empty air as Colvyn backs off. The next you notice is the sound of chanting from the north, one of the hags casting a spell. It sounds like its coming from directly north of Kargas, but you can't quite judge the distance. There's no obvious effect of the spell.

The storm hag cackles wildly. She casts another spell, this time sending a lightning bolt crackling through the sleet. It flashes through Kargas, but thankfully his resistance to electricity blunts the worst of it. (Still deals 26 dmg after resist)

He looks around irritably. "Where are you, Astrid? What's all this 'daughter' business, why is she calling you that?"

I meant did he move before in the round immediately proceeding Kargas being hit by lightning. Basically could someone see him from afar or be telepathically told or otherwise informed as to his approximate position. If the storm hag could see him to aim that bolt than we would be in more trouble than we already are. ;)

So he didn't move and the hag knew the square he was in based on intelligence and a little luck rather than just being able to see through the sleet, the way devils can see through illusions with truesight. That's what I was asking Kargas for.

Kellek unfortunately does not have anything up his sleeve, which--let me assure you--irks him to no end. Kellek moves back up the stairs, and casts shield (CL 11 for 1 arcane reservoir point).

Here's hoping she knows what she's doing.

Kellek gets further out of the room as his shield takes effect. Meanwhile, inside the sleet-filled expanse, the storm hag continues to cackle with glee "Running away are you? Hah!" then after a pause, she laughs "How about... there." before casting another spell. A violent jet of wind erupts from the storm, but it ends up missing all of your party members. The river of wind persists, creating a powerful channel of air that flows northward. (Marked in white)

River of wind mechanics:
A creature that begins its turn wholly or partially within a river of wind must make a Fortitude save or be pushed 20 feet in the wind’s direction of flow, take 2d6 nonlethal damage, and be knocked prone-a successful Fortitude save means the creature merely takes 1d6 nonlethal damage. Creatures under the effect of freedom of movement and creatures with the air subtype are unaffected by a river of wind.

While Kargas and Guiness ready their attacks, the spellcasters weave protective magic. Unfortunately, the hags don't stumble directly into the reach of their weapons. However, when a lightning bolt lances out of the storm through Guiness and Astrid, they're left entirely unharmed thanks to Astrid's resist energy!

At the rear of the group, Kellek hears a rough whisper right at his ear "Oh. Oh. You'll do." before the purple hag emerges from invisibility and digs into him with her jagged jaws! (Looks like AC19 vs Evil. If that's not correct let me know.) Her teeth bite into his shoulder (Dealing 10 damage) and spread an abyssal fever.

The wound rapidly grows an angry violet and Kellek feels his vitality fading. (Deals 2 CON dmg)

Zipping down the hall right behind Guiness, Kargas flies up just above Kellek's head and swings his blade at the hag. "Kellek, leave scrapping to the professionals! Get away and do the finger-waggling thing instead, it's what you're good at."

While my token is south of Kellek, I'd like to be in the air in the square directly above him in the hopes of flanking with Guiness. Not including the flank bonus in my roll though.

Don't forget Colvyn, that you can take two turns here due to being backed up.

Though Colvyn's arrows bounce harmlessly off her, the night hag's tough hide isn't quite tough enough to resist the powerful blows coming in from Guiness and Kargas. Her injuries grow, but she's far from being taken out of this fight. She hacks and howls in pain and anger as you interrupt her attempt to feast on the more vulnerable Kellek.
