Everyone is able to explore the caves safely. It is easy to cut down the people from their webbed tombs. Cutting them free you can tell by the clothes that they are from the hamlet. You’d believe it was a good idea to bring the bodies for a rightful funeral.
You are all able to make it back to the temple and when you walk in you feel a peace fall over you. You also realize that it has been a long day since you rested in here the night before. Sleep is pulling you deeper into the temple. As you are walking deeper into it you notice the runes on the anvil altar are beginning to glow. Almost as if what was plaguing this place has been removed.
I believe that Brunner and Scarlet are the two that have drank from the water this day because of the kitchen fight. Anyone else who drinks from the fountain gains 1d8+1 and you can go ahead and drink/roll it. Also sleeping here will grant you the bonus as if you were being aided in rest. You’ll gain 1 extra HP and ability damage.

Scarlet Blood |

"We can leave the hamlet dead inside the temple. Should be safe from further desecration. And since the place will be safe, we can have the hamlet come and retrieve the bodies."
After a good rest, Scarlet feels completely healed and ready for the journey back to the hamlet.

Brunner Hammerfell |
so resting in the temple gives 2 hp and 2 con restored
Ah this is what a temple of Torag is supposed to feel like. The altar is right, praise Torag, we've done more than just get rid of some goblins here.' Pleased with the work they've done, a very weary Brunner moves near the anvil altar, and putting out his bedroll, sleeps like a baby.
in the morning
Feeling still very weak, Brunner nods in agreement with Scarlet. "Th' bodies shoods be safe hear. thes way their families can gie them an' handle th' funeral rights in their ain way."
He goes over and drinks from the fountain again, "Ah that's th' mince."
Turning to Scarlet he does ask, "Did onie ay th' bodies swatch loch they main be Harauld, Mallie's guidman? She's bin kin' tae us. we coods tak' 'er husbands body tae 'er."
He takes one last look at the temple, smiling, "Ah cannae bide tae teel Arvel Durgedoon abit thes place. we will hae properly cared fur in nae time."

Ugh... another 1. I sometimes wonder if the dice bot on Piazo is broken. I roll more natural 1s than I do natural 20s.
To balance it out, someone you've never met is rolling more natural 20s than they do natural 1s. :)
As they bed down in the temple, Lanliss slips off his new ring and shows it to Barnabus.
"Barnabus, I believe that this ring was made by an elven wizard that I've heard of. I suspect that it has abilities beyond increasing my low-light vision. When we're back in town, do you think that you can help me learn more about it?"
The next morning...
He takes one last look at the temple, smiling, "Ah cannae bide tae teel Arvel Durgedoon abit thes place. we will hae properly cared fur in nae time."
"You're looking better today, Brunner. Do you expect that dwarves will come back to the mine?"

Barnabus Black |

To Lanliss:
"I will do what I can with my magic when we have a chance to rest and prepare. It could be that the elf wizard in town might know more as well."
"I don't know if any dwarves will come back to live here. I imagine it depends on the value of the mine now."

Brunner Hammerfell |
Nodding to Lanliss, "Ah dae feel a wee better, nae a hunder percent yit, but better."
He looks at the mine, one more time as they leave. "Ah hiner they will; mebbe as a mine, mebbe as an archeological dig. If naethin' else it can be a sanctuary tae followers ay Torag. It's still a mystery tae me wa thaur ur gates leadin' tae deep. Aam hopin' Arvel can help me solve it."

GM RelicBlackOUT |

As you look around the mind you realize that you will not be able to tell if the mine is still fruitful or if it is depleted because of all of the webbing that covers almost every inch of the mine. Brunner and Barnabus know that even if the mine is depleted that the Temple of Torag would bring back new life once clergy find out.
Once everyone is ready to head back
For the most part it is a easy journey back to Barrow’s Edge. You realize that you took care of the biggest predators in the area, the dragon and goblin tribe. It is a slightly overcast day, but nothing compared to the rainy day you arrived in Barrow’s Edge.
You are following the trail back to town when off to the side of the trail you notice the sound of metal clinking together and the sounds of leaves and bushes. Once you get close enough you stumble across a small pack of dogs eating something. The dogs notice you and take off into the woods. You see that there are some remains of a goblin with a chain locked around its neck. The other end got stuck in the thicket.
You arrive in Barrow’s Edge with no problems. Where does the group head to?

Lanliss Endarro |

Can we tell if they were wild dogs or maybe hunting dogs?
Lanliss is eager to see M. Marchess and let her know that the goblins and dragon have been removed from the mine.

GM RelicBlackOUT |

Can we tell if they were wild dogs or maybe hunting dogs?
You spooked them off before there was a chance to get a good look at them.
It is still morning time when you make your way through the Hamlet. People going about their day as normal. You arrive at then inn and when you enter you are greeted with a friendly face. Sarah rushes to welcome you.
“Welcome back! Please come with me, I will show you to the private room from before.” Once she sees Brunner and his weakened state she hollers out. “Dorf, come give our friend here a hand back to the private room. Dissy, go get Listra and get a move on it!” Turning back to the party she continues; “I’ll get Mallie at once, Dorf will make sure you are all comfortable. Please make yourself at home.”
Dorf comes up and takes Brunner’s bag and gives him a hand to the back room. “Ya know, everyone in towns heard what ya’ll are doin for us. You’re like real life heros? Did you get rid of them goblins? Not to sure how much of the crops we can lose before it becomes a hard winter.”

"Well I guess there is now only one goblin leader, at least he died in combat. Still I do feel a little bad that the chain gave the other guy an advantage. Out of all of them this one kept it's word."
Dalron removes the chain and collar for use maybe latter. And spends a few minutes covering the goblin body and saying a few words about his passing into the after life. Giving the goblin the little respect Dalron had for him.
But in the end, Dalron knows that it is the circle of life, and the scavengers need to eat too. And Brunner needs healing that the village might be able to provide.
On the way back to the village. Dalron keeps and arrow nocked and keeps an eye to the sky looking for the black dragon.

Barnabus Black |

Before we enter the inn, Barnabus detours the party to the temple and attracts the attention of the Priestess Listra.
"We need some help with a situation, your holiness" Barnabus begins.
"We've recovered the remains of some of your townsfolk." the dwarf gestures to the blanket wrapped bodies.
"and I'd rather not parade them through the town." he finishes.

Scarlet Blood |

In the Inn, Scarlet takes a seat and sighs from mild exhaustion. When asked about the goblins, Scarlet smiles. "Yep. We got rid of the goblins and their black dragon leader too."
Scarlet is beaming with pride.

GM RelicBlackOUT |

Reverse time to the Temple.
Listra approaches the party as they enter. “Welcome back...” she trails off as she sees the remains. “Please, please. Bring them back this way for me.” You are escorted so a room with several observation tables.
“What happened out there? This does not look like the work of goblins. How are all of you feeling, is there anything I could aid you with?”

"We encountered a giant spider that bit Brunner here. Do you have anything for the poison? That is where we found the cocooned people at."
Helping Brunner to lean on one of the tables.

Barnabus Black |

"Nasty bit of work that spider was." Barnabus adds.
"As big as a pony. It had taken over part of the mines and it looked as if the goblin's prisoners fell victim to it."
"We appreciate your assistance with the fallen. The folk of this village had suffered enough without having their dead relations thrust upon them unprepared."

Brunner Hammerfell |
Traveling with his friends, Brunner nods in approval as Dalron retrieves the collar and chain. "Ah did nae hink we woods see th' gobo ur th' chain again. guid thinkin' dalron, we main an aw keep it."
Bowing politely to the young Sarah, he waives off her insistence to have help. "Dinnae fash yerse lassie, we dwarves ur gart ay fiercer mince than 'at."
However he does hand his bag to Dorf and continue leaning on Dalron until he can lean on the table in the private room. approving, with a nod, as his friend asks about something for poison.

GM RelicBlackOUT |

previously @the Temple
Listra is taken back at what you found in the mine. “Oh my! I will be sure to take case of these remains and let the proper people know. Why don’t you head to the inn where you are staying and I will bring some supplies that I can gather together.”
now @the inn, in the private room.
Dorf sets down Brunner’s bag near one of the sitting chairs and heads out once Sarah returns with refreshments. “I brought some ale, meat, cheese and bread. I know its a tad early for ale, but after what you all have done for us it is cause for celebration.”
As she is getting everyone settled in, Mallie comes in the room with Arvel not to far off behind her. “Well Sarah only told me that you were back and that Brunner was worse off than when he left. What did you all find out?”

Scarlet Blood |

Scarlet grabs something refreshing to drink and then speaks up. "There was a goblin tribe that had taken over an old dwarf mine. They were being controlled by a small black dragon. The dragon apparently wanted more loot for it's treasure room. That was why the goblins were mostly raiding this place. Oh... there were some hobgoblins too."
Taking a sip of his drink, he then continues. "We took care of everyone and then decided to clear out the rest of the mine where we ran into a giant spider and her babies. We burned and melted the babies away, but the mother proved more difficult and Brunner got poisoned by it before we could put it down."

GM RelicBlackOUT |

Arvel Durgedown steps forward at the mention of a Dwarven mine. “A Old Dwarven mine you say? We knew it was an old mine but we never went near because of the goblin tribe. What makes you say that its a Dwarven mine?” Looking between Brunner and Barnabus “Yes, I am sure you two could tell from the construction of the mine. I will be visiting this mine to see what can be salvaged....”
Mallie sits down and takes a long swig of ale before bringing enough courage together to ask; “Were there... survivors? From the village?
About this time Listra comes through door into this private room that is growing quite crowded. She steps her way around the people within and approaches Brunner. “This won’t be pleasant but please drink this, it will help you regain your energy.” She pours a green thick liquid from a bladder skin into a mug and holds it out to Brunner. “After you drink this you really should get some rest to regain your strength.”
Lesser Restoration: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Listra continues “I don’t have much else, but I do have three antitoxins available for you all if needed.”
As the room is becoming crowded Sarah takes what pitchers are empty, and what platters need to be refilled out of the room and eventually brings back more. She continues to check in and out on the group and refills the refreshments.

Barnabus Black |

Barnabus tells Mallie "There's no good news to report as to the fate of any taken by the goblins. We can only hope that they when they met their fates they did not suffer. We brought back those that we could and we left them with the priestess at the temple when we entered town." he gestures to Listra.

Lanliss Endarro |

"Let's... be clear," Lanliss says carefully. "The spiders, the hobgoblins, and many of the goblins were slain. The dragon was gravely injured and escaped, and the remaining goblins have said that they would leave the mine under threat of dwarves returning.
"We are planning on returning to the mine in a day or two to confirm that the dragon and remaining goblins have not returned. But until we do that, the mine should not be considered safe."
Looking at Brunner, but indicating Arvel, Lanliss says, "Tell him about the temple!"

Brunner Hammerfell |
Smiling at Arvel Durgedown as he steps forward and inquires about the mine. Brunner, standing to his full height lifts the dwarvenhammer, and first taps his plate armor, then the steel shields insignia and asks "Coods thes marveloos craftsmanship hae come frae anywhaur but a dwarven mine?"
Then winking at Lanliss he continues "Th' mine hud a master craftsman temple tae Torag. complete wi' an anvil alter an' a healin' foontain."
He walks over to Arvel, handing him the hammer. "Thaur waur fortress doors gonnae intae th' underdark, they swatch loch they waur built tae keep somethin' belaw grin. fortunately, thaur hud bin a cave-in sae th' way tae th' underdark was blocked."
Leaning in, whispering "But it woods be worth investigatin'. at th' leest a shrine fur travelin' dwarves. at th' most, an amazin' archeological fin' an' a profitable mine."
Retriving his hammer, he winks tapping his nose with a forefinger.
He then turns to return to his seat, just as Listra comes in handing him the mug full of green fluid. Lifting the mug, "Slainte lassie, doon th' hatch."
He drinks all the fluid smacking his lips afterwards. "Aaahhh, noo that's th' mince. Ah feel better awreddy. But a lang nap an' some weel deserved rest soonds guid fur aw ay us."
After takikng his seat, he looks at Lanliss again. Nodding his head turning to Arvel. "Lanliss is reit, efter we've rested, eh'd loch tae gang back an' retrieve th' remainin' bodies. anyain fa woods loch tae travel wi' us tae see th' mine is mair than welcome tae come. ay coorse we dae claeem ownership ay it. since 'at was th' original agreement."

GM RelicBlackOUT |

Taking this all in Mallie fills her mug up again with more ale and takes a long pull from it then exhales. “Our friends, my husband, are dead at the hands of goblins, hobgoblins, and a dragon?!?! I figured worse case scenario it was an over zealous goblin... never a hobgoblin let alone a dragon... We owe you more than we can repay. You ran off the threat and brought back our loved ones. We can finally have closure on that part.”
Looking in her mug and wiping away a tear she looks to the group, stands up, and pulls a pouch from her apron and places it on the table. “Here is what we agreed on, and here is a little extra.” She places a smaller pouch next to the larger one. “I know it is early in the day, but I will let you rest. I am sure you all could use it. Please if you need anything from me please let me know. If you don’t mind, I have a few things I need to tend to.”
Arvel holds the hammer in his hands, passing it from his left to right hand checking the balance of it. Handing it back to Brunner he says; “That is a masterpiece. One that a true warrior of Torag deserves. We will see if we can get the temple running again. With what you described within, it won’t be hard to get the clergy to revive it. Maybe Barrow’s Edge could also benefit from it too...” Arvel humms to himself and looks around thinking. “I will let you be. I need to see to a few things.”
Listra looks around to the rest of the party and ask; “Is there anything I can do for the rest of you? If not, I will return to the temple and see to the townsfolk you brought back. Erastil’s blessings on you for what you did for us.” Unless anyone needs anything Listra lets the party rest from their work.
From here you are all free to do anything you’d like. It is still mid morning and a lot of the day remaining for you to complete what you’d like.

Lanliss Endarro |

1. Go with Barnabus to the elven mage to try and figure out the magic ring.
2. Matching cloaks!
3. ??????
4. Profit! -- Oh, wait. Mallie just took care of that part.

Scarlet Blood |

After eating something, Scarlet takes the bag of holding. "I'm going to go and sell some of the stuff we found. Especially the gear we looted from the goblins. We should get something decent for all the, otherwise, useless gear we collected."
Scarlet leaves the inn heads for the Halfling's shop.

GM RelicBlackOUT |

If everyone could, take a moment to look over the loot list and see what you would like for your character. This way we don’t sell off stuff the party has already collected.
Also I totally forgot to put it in the description but the large pouch was holding 500 gold and the smaller one contained 100 gold.

Brunner Hammerfell |

Turning to the priestess, Brunner gives a polite bow, "Thenk ye Listra, yer prayers ur appreciated."
Brunner smiles picking up one of the mugs of ale, taking a long pull, then setting the empty mug on the table. With froth in his bushy mustache he smacks his lips. "Aaahhhh, 'at is whit Ah needed tae wash doon 'at mingin' potion."
As Scarlet get's up to leave, Brunner thumps the table. "'at is a guid idea Scarlit. if ye dornt min', Ah will bide haur an' regain mah loch. Ah will sae mah shaur tae add a wee magic flaur tae thes braw dwarven gear."
After Scarlet leaves, Brunner lifts his mug to Sarah, "Anither refill haur lassie."

"Sarah how far is the closest city?"
he asks as he re-stocks his arrows.

Scarlet Blood |

So we trade 200 gp worth of equipment for the Mighty (+1 STR) Composite Bow, leaving 247 gp and 5 silver. Sell 200gp worth at the Blacksmith and then sell 47gp 5sp at Sten's Emporium.
While at the Emporium, Scarlet will also sell the 100gp Pearl and 50gp Diamond Brooch.
If that is okay with the GM, then that will give us a Mighty (+1 STR) Composite Bow for Lanliss and a total of 397gp 5sp in transactions.
Any potions and such we will treat as a separate transaction.

Lanliss Endarro |

If that is okay with the GM, then that will give us a Mighty (+1 STR) Composite Bow for Lanliss and a total of 397gp 5sp in transactions.
Well, I was hoping for two; one for Dalron and one for Lanliss. But if only one is available, it should go to Dalron, since he's the better shot, and he will more consistently being shooting arrows than Lanliss will.

Scarlet Blood |

Max trade was 200gp, so we couldn't get two. Unless we can get a second one at the Emporium.

Lanliss Endarro |

Sell it. Pathfinder identify doesn't require a pearl as part of the casting requirement.

Yes, it was a cure light wounds pot.
@Dalron/Lanliss/Scarlet 200gp is the max buying power of a single item. If you are going to be around the Hamlet a few days, Garrett can craft you weapons and armors.

GM RelicBlackOUT |

Scarlet @Garrett the blacksmiths
Scarlet walks up to Garrett the blacksmith, greets him, and begins to pull out all of the items from the bag of holding. “Well good morning..... what in the world is that? How are you able to fit so much within? May I look at your bag?” Garrett looks in pure amazement at the amount of items this bag can hold. “This is some kind of magic isn’t it? I have never seen anything like this before... Oh, yes let me look over the weapons and armor and we can come up with some kind of deal.”
@The tavern
Sarah looks at Dalron and things for a moment. “Oh, there is one a few days to the north. I am not sure the name of it, but I know that Sten has a good trade conteact up that way. You may want to ask her about it.” Sarah smiles at Dalron and heads over to refill Brunner’s mug of ale. “Here ya go hun.” Looking at the meat, cheese, and bread try Sarah walks over and begins to collect the empty trays. “Is there anything else you all would like? I can bring anything when you want it, just let me know.”
