Lyosha Neverhome |

Neverhome will step forward then.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

Turning her glare on the woman, Sigrun explodes into a charge, her hammer slamming forward with brutal power.
Adamantine/Magic/Bludgeoning/Charge: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 2 = 36

HP: 100/111 Fast Healing 1 DR 3/-
AC:20 (Currently 18 due to charge)

'Silence' |

With a very feline like smirk he simply removed his naginata and swiped low at the creatures ankles sweeping near the back of them with the flat of it while Friend Sigrin came crashing in.
trip attack, bless: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 1 = 26
if miss many armed sword girl has a combat manuever defense of higher than 26 im going to cry :P if she does ignore my snark, Silence wouldnt talk smack back if it didnt work
Keep your feet firmly on the ground... its embaressing to lay on ones back in a proper challenge.
He retorted and brought the sharpened end down on the prone form
attack 2 bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 = 7
damage: 1d8 + 3 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 6 = 11
If it didnt work a flustered second swipe low would be his action

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Sigrun: 2d20 ⇒ (11, 7) = 18 Damage: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (4, 6) + 12 = 22
Silence: 2d20 ⇒ (8, 10) = 18 Damage: 1d8 + 1d4 + 12 ⇒ (5) + (2) + 12 = 19
Confirm: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35 Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
The asura nimbly jumps over Silence's sweeping blade but takes a glancing blow from Sigrun's hammer. Her innate resistance is sufficient to significantly blunt the damage, and she retaliates with a blinding-fast flurry of attacks. Neverhome takes a spear thrust to the chest, Sigrun's faced with a pair of longswords, and Silence finds himself dealing with a longsword and kukri.
Neverhome: 17pts damage from a confirmed crit
Sigrun: 22pts damage
Silence: 19pts damage

In report to the inevitable angry looks from the three faced thing, Percy just juts out a hip and sticks out her tongue.

'Silence' |

He had underestimated the reach of the creature so he bent over to pick up his katana then stepped forward to re-engage.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

So the 22 damage is from 2 hits right? Need to be sure for applying DR
16 damage

Recognizing what Zses is attempting, the asura laughs. "You think your puny magic can affect - " That's when her vision becomes partially obscured by shadows, and she suddenly begins experiencing difficulty aiming her attacks. Taking advantage of the confusion, Sigrun and Neverhome score more blows, although the damage is reduced by her thick hide. It's a shame that your weapons aren't yet powerful enough to overcome her unholy resilience (DR hint from GoodGuyGM).
This time, your opponent is only able to land a single blow: a spear thrust that catches Neverhome in the shoulder (don't forget to update your vitals line).

You continue to chip away at your opponent's defenses, although she shrugs off most of the effects of the spells. She's definitely bloody, and this fact seems to please her. "You're the funnest I've had in quite some time." Despite her wounds, she remains a formidable opponent, scoring hits on Neverhome and Sigrun - although Zses' magic protects Silence from harm.

Ouch. She's definitely dead now.
Neverhome's blade smoothly removes two of the asura's heads, and she crumples to the ground. That's when everyone notices her wounds are slowly sewing themselves back together (upasundas have regeneration). With the amount of damage she's taken, though, it'll take quite some time before she's in any shape to fight again.
Loot
MW kukri x2
MW longsword x2

'Silence' |

does it look like a troll situation where like her head is growing a new body and her body is growing a new head?

Percy Silvershaper |

Loot her and let's move. I'd hate to be her when she wakes up.

'Silence' |

Quickly he slashed downwards doing his best to remove an arm or two from her torso.
Quickly scatter the peices yes yes... take some to the other rooms toss the head down the room with the bad runes.... let us make sure she takes her time coming back yes yes?
He began in explanation.

Percy Silvershaper |

Yes yes. Good idea, Silence. Take all the heads and toss them all down those stairs, just in case one gets fried!

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

"Sever the third one and toss that down there too. Maybe set the body on fire." Sigrun suggests.
Glad I didn't go with my original plan to start sundering her weapons.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Heh. What a vicious bunch you are. ;-)
Apparently, the staircase runes only work on LIVING creatures. Whether or not that information is significant is currently unknown, but when dealing with magic as powerful as this, any knowledge is useful. Regarding the asura, she'll still piece herself back together, but it's doubtful that you'll have to worry about her for the duration of your time here in Artrosa.
As you know, there's a bunch of places to explore. There's a rancid-smelling room. Alternately, there's a long stairway leading upward, or whatever's past the satyr/tendriculos room. Lastly, the asura's chamber leads to a menhir-containing cavern. You can also attempt the runed stairway, but I'm guessing you'd prefer to wait.

Lyosha Neverhome |

I guess the menhir since it's closest.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

The ceiling of this broad natural cavern arcs upward, forming a narrow crown high above the cavern floor. In the center of the cave stands a rings of worn, moss-covered menhirs, their inward faces carved with mystic symbols. These menhirs (each possessing a strong aura of transmutation) stand 10-15ft high and form a ring nearly 50ft in diameter. To the north, a passage leads up a gentle slope to a closed door engraved with the image of a hunched and withered crone.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

I was gonna roll for Zses since he's MIA but he can't hit that DC with a nat 20 so..

Lyosha Neverhome |

Neither can Percy, guess I should have checked the profiles before waiting to see if anyone could do it >_<
Guess we'll move on then.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Blindly activate a colossal statue that might get up and start walking and destroying stuff? Nah, Percylicious wouldn't do that...

Lyosha Neverhome |

"... because we don't even know each other?" Neverhome immediately responds.

Percy Silvershaper |

And I'm no fun to kill. Percy reolies just after Neverhome. Some ghosts in here already tried and they had NO fun in the end.
