Seeing Beetly looking grimey Velvunk pulls out a clean rag from his pocket. "You need wipe off? You no hurt dwarves will you? We want to tell dwarves that we here to fight Ironfang Legion. You Nu-friend?"

Can Zarvak Lady Fly-Fly on account of feathers? Some very-very-precise-Lady-Being-with-wings threw me, head first, on very annoying goat demon 5 times and goat demon was very squished because Apsu stronker then gravity! Very-pretty-being-with-wings also said that head my most redundant part, must be because I have helmet! Is battle strategy of great potency! Says, almost chirps, Compensates when proposing a new battle strategy.

Assuming that thrown Kobold Paladins count as Good aligned weapons, and factoring in Lady Nocticulas base strentgh of 34, the fact that she adds her charisma bonus to her ranged damage anyway(with no notion of it replacing her str to damage if using a throwing weapon), assuming she enchants Compensates with the returning quality, he would actually be a pretty efficient ranged weapon, especially if his own smite would count for some reason. A Small sized Paladin thrown by the Demon Lord Nocticula would deal about 1d6 + 27 damage, before adding deadly aim and stuff of that if applicable.

"Nice to meet you too, Itchy-friend. Velvunk, right?" He holds out a hand to shake, then nods to Velvunk's holy symbol. "That's the sign of the shooty-god, right? Erstil? Rastle? Something like that. I once met a not-quite-human with wings and a big fancy bow who wore one of those. He was just passing through my town, and stopped in to buy arrows. Seemed nice. Called himself Raffle and said something about going off to vank.. um... defeat, that's a easier word, an evil queen. But he did seem very chill. Very nice longshanks. Maybe I should learn more about this Erstil-god. You'll teach Kwiazy?"

He looks over toward Compensates and for a brief moment does a little mental gymnastics, and wonders aloud whether his acronym came from the fact that he specializes in putting enemies in CoFfiNs.

His eyes scan the now-larger group he's part of and grins. "We are again a formidable force for good, yes? Let's go kick some evil butt!"

The dwarves let in the newcomers, and facilitate your group getting a chance to chat before you leave. Soon enough, it's time to head to the Vault. you are now just outside the vault; pausing here for any long-lasting buffs or other preparations

Compensates has heroic defiance and unbreakable heart prepared, both of those are reactive.

He does an Apsu war dance before the entrance, which looks like a Kasachok but with more summersaults.
He would certainly appreciate buffs.

Which is sadly way above Compensates Wis or Int to possibly understand.
Upon finding out what Compensates Last mission was, and doing a pretty high knowledge planes check, you may be able to infer it.

Paranoid, uncertain of his new allies, Beetly stays behind. It's hard to include him in any conversation, while he constantly observes everything and everyone.
Those who try to keep an eye on him, which is already pretty difficult, suddenly have it even harder. He's no longer sneaking on the ground, but flying under the ceiling while looking for the darkest spots to hide in.
If you can find him, he now has bat-like wings that make his appearance even more grotesque.

You companion has an interesting trick there, utilizing the fact that many subconciously opt to not perceive ugliness in an effort to bolster his stealth capabilities. Not suitable for me at all, but inventive nonetheless. The voice in Compensates head says in the meantime.

As Yvra chats with his new companions, Yvra is almost constantly fiddling: sometimes coiling bits of razorwire or setting bear traps, other times working on an improbable-looking winged contraption with a dozen levers.

When everyone is done, Yvra says, "I've never been in the vault, but I serve Kraggodan as a scout and sniper, and am comfortable quietly taking the lead, in order to suss out whatever danger surely awaits us.

"Beetly, I dare say, until I met you I prided myself on being the stealthiest person in Kraggodan...but you clearly take the bug-covered cake. Would you like to join me?"

Scouting notes
Yvra has +31 stealth, and unusual senses (blindsight, tremor, etc) don't auto-foil his stealth, and he can hide even while being observed.

When scouting he takes a Move to fly (60', unless he's slowing down to let someone keep up) and then takes a Move to actively examine surroundings. He has +24 perception, and
"When actively searching with the Perception skill (a move action), you may detect the presence of ongoing magical auras, such as those left by spells such as alarm or invisibility. If the target does not normally have a Perception DC, the DC is equal to the original spell DC as determined by the spell’s caster (DC 10 + spell level + caster’s casting ability modifier), or DC 25 if the effect does not originate from a source that would make it possible to determine a spell DC. YesYes, red-smart-sage-Kobold-Beeing and where-did-he-go-good-goblin-being go aheadhead and make cunning scout-scout, then tell compensate where and how many to make smesh-smesh! Compensates not very stealthy is, too much talk about Apsu, Smesh, Adventures and Icecream he does!

Compensates can once per day as per fly spell day, he is not very fast due to heavy armor, and mostly moves on foot. I actually have "ok stealth" at 9, but that is strictly for being 30-60 foot behind you without blowing your cover, not for actually stealthy things.

How about we make teambuilding exercise? Compensates was thought good game for this in last city he was in called Truth or Dare! it works like this!
Compensates puts one of his earthbreakers on the ground and gives it a spin, its grip points to Yvra and the hammer to compensates himself.
See, grip points to Red-Sage-being meaning he can make demand of me. I can choose if it is dare or truth! Sage being he is, I think truth more interesting for him. So he can ask me one question and I will make answer!

He makes sure you realize your goal here is to find evidence that the Ironfang Legion, rather than Molthune, is responsible for the theft. He also points out you are welcome to return to the city and rest if you need to during your exploration. Gorm Greathammer provides you with a
magical sigil of Kraggodan, which he says will open the vault and quell
some of the dangers within.

Xakroo isn't the one who's carrying the sigil, but he pulls out his bow and an arrow and has a lead with Zarvak heading ahead to scout.

not sure if there's separate Perception rolls for sight and smell so I'll stick it to one roll.

This vast hallway stretches from south to north for roughly a hundred feet before abruptly stopping at a cave-in. Collapsed ceiling and stone block the path of what was once a far longer hall. Immense, eight-foot-wide stone pillars bedecked in glowing lights and rune-etched plaques reach up to the ceiling some sixty feet above, while an eerily lifelike statue of a dwarven women frozen in shock stands near the southern entrance. Four side passages lead out of this cyclopean hall: two to the west and two to the east.

Kwiazy seems a bit uneasy at the sight of the lifelike statue... something about a story he heard in childhood about a monster that turned people to stone... He can't quite recall the details, but he's uneasy just the same.

Petrahk's time was a bit of a blur as they were running around and getting ready and suddenly the party was exploring yet again after the very welcome respite from the drudgery of 'being heroic'.

Yes. For some reason it felt even more dour and workmanlike than at any other time in the past though the small dragon made a great deal of effort to keep her thoughts to herself.

The hint, though, may have been that she became incredibly socially reserved -- almost emulating the dwarves in their typical dwarven behaviour.

However, now there's time to explore and make things happen. She will start Invisible as the party explores, possibly part of why she's been quieter of late.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

K:Arcana: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (14) + 19 = 33

She will impart any information she discovers via Message to the rest of the team before shifting position by about ten feet in case anyone is observing and can see through her magic.
