Razor Coast, a devil’s paradise, where a man’s fortune can bleed out quicker than a spitted pig, and where the dawn sky blazes across endless oceans. Oceans that for centuries hid a lost people of whom legend whisper were born into these wild reaches as the sons of sharks. Here, within in the kraken’s clutches, law means little while gold breaks all boundaries and blood, pearls, and rum pay for all sin.

Uraisa opens her beak and with a loud screetch took to the air, zooming for a closer look at the largest mouth.

Perception 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (19) + 22 = 41

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

You see what appears to be a trigger mechanism inside the mouth. DC 40 perception if you climb or fly to look up inside it. DC 20 if you feel inside it.

Human female Universalist wizard 1 | 14 AC | HP 16/16 | F+4, R+4, W+6 | Initiative +0| Perception +4 | 25’ speed |

Can Uraisa "reach' into the mouth with her beak or talons? If so I'll try for the 20. If not, then I'll shoot for the 40.

You rolled a 41, but the problem is pushing it as a bird.

Human female Universalist wizard 1 | 14 AC | HP 16/16 | F+4, R+4, W+6 | Initiative +0| Perception +4 | 25’ speed |

uraisa flies back into the safe unflooded room, shifts back to normal, and tells the others about the trigger mechanism. "I can't move the trigger in bird form. I think it might stop the water flow if someone thinks they can get to it!"

"I can cast fly on Silas. He's good at handling triggers and traps." Assuming no one has a better idea, Leialoha casts fly on Silas. Before casting the spell, Leialoha cuts himself with his bone fetish.
Will use Secret of Blood to cast so I can save that spell.

Silas nods, sheathes his rapier again then flies up to the trigger. He says a prayer to Quell before pulling the mechanism.

does the water stop?

Beyond the secret panel, a crawl hole barely two feet
high curves back into the stone of the wall. The rock in the
claustrophobic space is wet with condensation from the
waters of the lake above that trickle through.

Nope, the water is now 5' deep and rising and flowing into the new hole

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

I thought the rise was halved due to the other passage being open now? Oro-Tu relates what he sees to the others. "Not sure I will fit. Uraisia will you go in?"

Ivar, keeping his head above water, turns to Oro-Tu and then Silas and asks, "Because of the cloak, I was willing to spring the trap, I'm still willing to continue on, do you want me to swim into the crawl hole and see what is in there? Or I can let someone else use the cloak if that seems like a better idea"

Ha, Oro-Tu ninja'd my post

can Ivar, wearing the cloak, fit into the entrance of the new hole?

"As we need to make sure there's a way out Ivar should go."

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

You will all be squeezed, but can make it through the passage. It was another two rounds one for Uraisa to fly up and find the mechanism and another for Silas to spring it. Now you have taken a third debating, it will be a fourth by the time Ivar crawls into the hole. If you wait for Ivar it could be another three to four rounds crawling.

The crawl hole is just big enough for a Medium character
to crawl along squeezing, but little else.

hearing the go ahead from Silas Ivar nods saying "I will see what I can see, if you need to exit the tomb until I return I understand." handing the bag with Aurora's remains in it to Oro-Tu Ivar tells him "Do not wait overly long for me, if I do not return use my share to bring Aurora back to life." He turns and shouldering his shield dives into the hole and begins to worm his way through, keeping and eye out as best he can.

Oh great, send the one in w/o a perception. Ivar you come to a dead end.

Ivar slowly backs his way out of the tunnel, surfacing, treading water, he tells the crew "I did not find anything, would someone like to use my cloak and take a look? We have come to far to give up now."

Human female Universalist wizard 1 | 14 AC | HP 16/16 | F+4, R+4, W+6 | Initiative +0| Perception +4 | 25’ speed |

Once she dons the cloak, she heads over to investigate, cutting right through the water.

Ivar nods his head quickly and removes the cloak, handing it to Uraisa, he uses the totem to keep himself comfortably treading water until she returns or he is forced to swim out due to high water

Im going to nod off early. Once brv reveals what Uraisa sees, assuming she doesn't get eaten, please assume she will immediately head back and tell the others what she saw.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

There is no room to turn around so you will have to crawl backwards. Uraisa finds a secret door and the lever to open it. Water is now at 8'. yes it has been that many rounds.

so does the water start to drain?

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

The passage is narrow and going upwards so no, it only slows for a bit. You have water pouring out of twenty mouths and only two holes for drains, one of which is already full. The passage to the west is now completely submerged. Unfortunately, your cleric with water breathing is the one that is dead.

Ivar thinks for a moment and explains "When Uraisa brings my cloak back I can swim everyone, one at a time, to the tunnel and they can then swim to the new area. They will only need to hold their breath from here to the tunnel and through."

After ivar or uraisia inform him at the mouth to the tunnel, he surfaces and shouts, "They found air!" Oro-Tu, being a natural swimmer, holds his breath and helps the others through one at a time, squeezing through last. After getting through he yells for Ivar to help him push the door shut against the water pressure, asking the others to see if there is a way to keep it closed.

Ivar helps Oro-tu, as best he can, and then follows the rest of the team through the simple hinged panel.

Good thing Leialoha is really good at Knowledge (arcana)

"I could summon something to test the barrier. Or we could just send Ivar."

hey I learned my lesson Ivar shakes his head smiling ruefully grasping the 'hook' "Your going to need to fill it with water first."

"How about fire?" Leialoha withdraws his bone fetish once again and stabs himself in a tattoo on his leg as he casts a spell. The Tulita wizard sags for a moment, then stands tall and casts a spell. Moments later a small fire elemental appears. Leialoha stoops and speaks to it in Ignan, then the creature moves forward into the circle of gold.
Nonlethal Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10 HP 45/56, 10 nonlethal
