Powerful Wings - Bloodline interaction

Rules Questions

Hi everyone!
Can I take the Powerful Wings feat if I gain wings through a bloodrager bloodline power (e.g. Dragon Wings (Su))?

Yes, the main problem for you will be 8 ranks in Fly. You can't put ranks into Fly until 12th level when you get Dragon Wings or another way to fly.

Can I start putting ranks in the Fly skill at lvl 10, when I take the Fly spell?

Powerful Wings if I remember correctly is a 'monster' feat. With all such feats you need to ask the GM if you are allowed to take it. So long as you meet all of the conditions (you have wings that provide the ability to fly, you have the skill focus (fly), and BAB 8+) you should be able to, but it really is the GMs final call on this since it isn't a feat intended for players to take.

Powerful Wings is listed as a combat feat, so a few classes would be able to take it as a bonus feat, but that isn't really supportive of being something you can take since monsters can gain class levels and fighter is very common for that.

Awesome! I am trying to build a bloodrager based on natural attacks, with the draconic bloodline I gain wings while bloodraging, with the primalist archetype I'll pick up the rage powers which give more natural attacks.

I forgot Bloodrager got 3rd level spells at 10th. If you have high enough Int, you can take Skill Focus at 9th, Powerful Wings at 11th (and have no effect), then get Dragon Wings at 12th.

Powerful Wings isn't under the list of Monster Feats, and doesn't list itself as a monster feat. There needs to be no GM approval over it.

I have a memory of Powerful Wings being a monster feat as well.

Archivesofnethys just went down (for me at least), but the PFSRD says this:

Prerequisite(s): Str 13, Skill Focus (Fly), base attack bonus +8.

Special: Creatures with natural wings can gain this feat at the GM's discretion (including ignoring the racial prerequisite of Cloak of Feathers).

This implies (to me anyway) that there's at least one prerequisite not listed. PFSRD often does this if the prerequisite is something they can't list without breach of copyright.

As a side note, the feat comes from the book: Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Monster Codex.

Not definitive, but it is worth checking with someone who owns the book.
