Desmond rocks back on his heels and gets a doubtful look on his face. "Actually, make it two." Then he springs forward and twists around, going headfirst into the fray.

Trying to move behind the BBEG for a flank with Grung. I believe I can get there in a single move action with haste (if I can't I will still get sneak attack because I moved at least 10 feet), but I will also be hit by black tentacles. If you don't mind I'll roll that so we don't have to wait on me posting again. CMB is CL + 4 + 1 right?

Desmond the move was bit further than 30 feet, plus you have to hop up over two stone parapets. But since the map is pretty busy, I'll let fudge you movement some for the dramatic flare.

Unfortunately you do go through the marilith's threatened area and you're acrobatic roll is not enough. You do not quite get into flanking position.

The demon misses and Desmond (you don't have flank) attacks.
Without flank is your attack a 35 or 37? A 35 misses but a 37 will hit. ALSO are you using either a good item or cold iron? That amount of cold damage seems to have no effect on the demon.

I'm assuming Desmond hit with (37 as opposed to the 35) his debilitating attack, but add +2 to the attacks if the debilitating attack missed. The -2 in the attack rolls is the debilitating penality.

One Desmond:

The whirling blades slash at the rogue.

Desmond you moved through an enemy space and failed the acro check thus you provoked the AOO and loose your MA. Even with 60 feet I wouldn't be able to get you around the upslope, black tentacles, leaping up and down the parapet openings you'd still come up at least 5 feet short. Besides, all the variations in slope, terrain, and obstacles would add significantly to DC.

Nym 1:
You know black skeletons are much more powerful in their abilities. You know of one of the more powerful drow houses from your homeland use to use them. They also seem to be constructed of black steel and they tend to be proficient with two light swords. You can see theat they are not mindless unlike zombies and their skeleton cousins, so you suspect they are not subject to certain mind control effects.

Nym 2:
All that you know about the large serpent creature is she is a fiercely capable demon.

Nym you actually see a human trying to bounce and flip past the demon but the demon's reflexes were too fast for the trick, as she swatted him down with one flash of longsword.

Two of the giant dwarf's attacks hit the demon. He hits hard but Croaker doesn't do as much damage as the dwarf would like. Concern washes over his untidy whiskers as he realizes it will be difficult to trade blow for blow with this demon.

Nym:
You're familiar enough with demons and their callings to know that they generally tend to be resistant to fire. But you know the shock troops on the wall would be effected by fire, so the tactic could get used to clean up an area to make room.

Just before Felicitas and Kalim act there's a fiery blast from inside the walled fortification. It sounds like an explosion...perhaps kerosene or an oil barrel exploded. There's a sound of chaos from behind the wall.

Nym your fireballs goes off and torces the unsuspecting cleric and a couple black skeleton's near the rear of the stair well. Not enough damage to kill or destroy but enough for a diversion.

Desmond takes a deep breath, shaking off his wounds and jumping through the tentacles and the creature's reach.

Black tentacles counts as difficult terrain, so Desmond will take a move action to move to G13. Acrobatics to avoid AoO.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (16) + 28 = 44

Once Desmond gets to his nice flanking position with the large dwarven king, he rolls to his feet and takes a swing!

Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (2) + 23 = 25 +2 if acrobatics was successful

Fighting defensively, since I'm assuming that attack misses my current AC is 33.

Seeing that the fireball didnt do as much damage as he hoped That was definitely not a good idea, but bad decisions make the best stories.
