There a horrific cry at nearby slavepen About 50 feet away there you see a four tentacles emerge from the torso of a massive misshapen creature. Above these are a tooth-encrusted maw and a glaring red eye. At the top of the creature is a glistening black horn. It is sucking the brains out of a newly bought gnome slave. The tentacles messaging the hapless creatures bloody skull as the maw sucks out the last of the delicacy.

It's a tentacled horror.


The drow vendor doesn't even glance towards the shriek. "Dangerous place."

You can get an Additional +1 bonus added to Croaker they will have some vendor here to that. That could be some interesting roleplay along with Capt Luther's waraxe hanging from the belt ...yes, very interesting!

Desmond looks at the fangs and raises an eyebrow. He gives back a charming smile. "Mingle and play, huh? For the hefty price of 10000 in gems? Oh darling, I believe you have an escort for the evening." Desmond leans towards Karnog. "I'll survive a bite or two from a vampire, right?"

Nym leans down to Karnog and whispers (Undercommon) Those would be very useful. Better if we could get an item but this should help with entry so you don't have to fight your way in. We may want to look into some extra healing and curse removal. Maybe something to help with extending our magic.

To the Drow vendor Nym smiles back. If my friends were to be interested in these what would the price be?

The potionmaking poisoner gives directions to the where enchantments can be had and other gear purchased. "So will you be purchasing any of my goods....or will your visit to this market be concluded?" The emphasis on concluded does sound grave to you.
