Varl Togaard |
Guh! Varl grunts as the arrow manages to penetrate his fullplate armor and drive its barbed head into his shoulder. Scanning through the underbrush Varl watches for the movement of the archer, his shield at the ready and his axe prepared to cleave into any of the goblin snakes that make it out of the pit.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Ready Action: Attack first goblin snake to get out of the pit within range.

"Grr...where is the bastars shooting at us? Anyone got eyes on 'I'm?"
perception
I missed your perception check previously, you do see the goblin archer is above the cave opening on ledge twenty feet high. He is wearing a greyish brown chain shirt that has leaves and twigs stuck to hit. He is wielding a longbow.
Karnog Kegmeister |
"Another goblin! Little bugger's got proper armor and a longbow, on a ledge about 20' up."

But he misses, this creature becoming visible to Kalim and Varl from their locations.

Varl looks at his weapon as if it must be broken for missing the squirmy goblin.
kalim misses with his acid attack this time.
This stunted green skinned goblin with a hateful look on his face does have some decent armor on studded leather and heavy wooden shield. The leather looks of good craftsmanship. his longsword is pitted, and he has a couple visible throwing axes on his body.
Vatilda Lateef |
Round 3
Vatilda strides forward snarling at the goblin before firing another dark bolt from her hand.

"You are a fool to disregard me, goblin."

_____________________
He double moves toward Kalim. Avoiding the goblin AOO and attempts to get total cover from the archer. He's trying to get in position to flank with Varl with his battleaxe, either the sergeant or snakes. I don't know which square is difficult, so I can't give you an exact position.
This is my last post for awhile. Good hunting!
Karnog Kegmeister |
Karnog calls upon the power and strength in dwarven.
As he finishes his brief prayer, a dull golden glow settles over the party.
Karnog casts bless: +1 morale to attack & saves vs. fear for 2 minutes.
He then moves in front of Vatilda, attempting to shield her as best as he can while being almost half her height.
"You could take cover behind me, be a smaller target for that archer bastard, then pop up and return fire."
Nibbfir Grumepgarth |
"Ve.. ve... very well! I shall take the one over the cave!"
Nibb retreats a few steps to F-4 and will try to hit the goblin above the cave.

Rammellorn |
Am I able to move behind Nibb and still attack with reach? If yes, then I will do that for the sake of action economy at te risk of looking cowardly by taking cover behind the gnome.
Rammellorn moves quickly behind Nibb and strikes at the goblin in front of him with the reach of his long ax.
Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Damage:1d12 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Rammellorn |
I keep forgetting that I have hatred +1 against goblins and orcs. Also, what range does detect evil at will have and last noob question: How does everyone get all green attack and damage posts? I haven't figured this out yet.
baldwin the merciful |
Nibb moves to F-4 and hits with his crossbow.
Argrim has to get up from the hole which is a move action, then he uses 15 foot of movement for his standard action positioning himself at G-2.
Karnog cast bless and moved to Vatilda
Rammellorn moves to F-3, hiding behind a gnome, and uses his reach weapon missing the goblin sergeant.
Detect Evil at Will is a 60 ft cone but requires std action and concentration, then it does take 3 rds to get complete information(and I do require that with the detection spells).
Rammellorn I didn't understand want you were referring to with all the green attack and damage posts?

Round 4
Quickly looking of his shoulder, Varl watches as Argrim pulls himself out of the pit and rushes towards the goblin warrior he is locked in combat with. I’ll take the left, you take the right. Varl yells in dwarven to his friend. Just like a hammer un anvil.

Good, I think I know how this works... It seems not like a big deal.
Then, he will try to find a good angle to shoot at the goblin archer.

Rammellorn drops his long ax at the sight of seeing the sergeant go down and draws his composite shortbow and knocks an arrow.

Cutting down the goblin warrior, Varl turns knowing that his friends are still in danger. Banging his axe against his shield, the dwarf rushes forward on his stubby legs towards the mouth of the cave to hopefully draw fire from the archer and protect Vatilda
Full Action: RUN! (G16)
You can run as a full-round action. If you do, you do not also get a 5-foot step. When you run, you can move up to four times your speed in a straight line (or three times your speed if you're in heavy armor). You lose any Dexterity bonus to AC unless you have the Run feat.
You can't run across difficult terrain or if you can't see where you're going.
(I'm not sure if G5&G6 are difficult terrain as well as G9, G10 and G11. If they are then I want to double move to F7
BTW Vatilda the maps have been a *huge* help!
Karnog Kegmeister |
"Ouch. You little bastard!"
Karnog moves closer to the cave, tying a quick slipknot in his rope, fashioning a basic lasso loop.
