Rads eyes widen as a strange burly man with no armor glowing skin charges into a mob of zombie-ghouls and punches one in the face. For some reason, he finds this more unbelievable than a boat captain frog-man named Kermit.
As the ghoul falls, he cheers and shouts to the stranger, "Good show man! Thanks for the help!"
Much more satisfied with the current odds and wall of other people between him and the zombies, the history professor raises Traveler and takes aim between both Koran and the strange pugilist. One hand traces arcane runes in the air while the other steadies his gun.

A small bullet streaks to the space between the fighters and erupts, engulfing all undead within it's 15 foot cone in flames.

And a correction: I stated that the Holiday Inn was directly across the street from the public beach parking lot, but it is in fact further up the road, about another quarter of a mile. A different hotel, the L-shaped Beau Lido Suites, is across from the parking lot.
Team Lido (The Fierce Ones) stands on Ben Franklin Drive between the public beach parking lot and the Beau Lido Suites.
According to Radsworth's map, there is a police station on St Armand's Circle, in the "gold quadrant" (the northeast quadrant), on John Ringling Blvd.

During the combat Derrik was fierce and kept the creatures at bay with his size and presence.. and When Kate used her Channel to heal him for the first time runic symbols appears upon his armor and a flash from inside his helmet and seemed to work especially good.
When the fighting is all over he cracks his neck only a few scratches upon his armor. and making sure they are assaulted again, he nods to the newcomer but as always is wary of him. After the introduction He takes point once more.

Derrik looks down upon her and takes massive knee, though his ebony and red armor with sharp edged helmet most likely did not help along with the axe.
