Her AC was 36 if you had that 15 on your first attack that would have been a potential crit and surgeworthy.. right now it would get at max 35 then again.. the retroactive +2 from the Liliend makes it POSSIBLE. Crits are nice

A tally of mythic challenges in this adventure:

1: Kill the Dunwich Horror and the other spawn of Yog-Sothoth--accomplished (single-handedly by Derrik!)--check!

2: Destroy Lavinia and Wilbur Whateley--in progress!

3: Destroy the four mythic mummies--in progress!

4: Close the portal!

Accomplishing those 4 mythic challenges ought to advance the FOs to tier 4, correct?

(It will definitely advance them to 12th level, and put them well on their way to 13th....)

How far away are the Mummies from Lavinia? Or Marcus, for that matter?

I thought they were a bit closer, didn't catch that this was a 300 ft. wide battlefield.

Marcus can get in range easy (it's got a 220 ft. range and he has a 90 ft. move right now), but Marie can only move 30 ft.

Also, real quick, are these mummies immune to Cold damage? Still using the spell, just wanna know if I should be rolling 1d6+2 or 1d6+1.

The mummies are about 160 ft below the top tier, on the third tier of the ziggurat.

I assumed Marcus was hovering more or less where he was teleported in, which was 120 ft above the top tier, which would place him 280 ft above the mummies (at an angle, so 40 ft away as well)....

Gotcha. Marcus moves within range then. Drifting downward at a diagonal can put him within 220 feet easy.

I went with another Oracle level. Not much to report there. Picked up a 6th level spell, and a Mystery spell (Cold Ice Strike and Planar Binding respectively), and another 5th level spell (Major Curse).

Will get Mythic stuff done ASAP.

I think I may have been miscalculating my HP every level or something.

So I get 7 HP a level (5 from average HD, 2 Con), so at 12th level I have 77 HP from levels 2-12, +10 from 1st level (Max HD = 8+2 Con), so 87...before Mythic Hierophant, which is an extra 16 HP (4 tiers, 4 HP a level) for a total of 103, not 93 as I have listed now.

Does that sound wrong to anyone? If not, bumping my HP up.

I'm hearing a request for some extraplanar adventure from Levinson....

Which somewhat coincides with an Alfheim-related adventure hook....

Co-terminus with and adjacent to Alfheim is a plane known as Fairyland, from whence many kinds of fey creatures come....

They share a physical planar border that is often crossed by denizens of both realms....

The Jabberwocky has been known to make voracious forays into Alfheim from neighboring Fairyland on occasion....

Such as when rumors reach it via hapless travelers (victims) that entire tribes of humans are encamped around a certain castle in the land of the elves....

Well I'm just trying to think of more mythic spins on the Lovecraftian which seems to be going for space or non-Euclidian planar travels. I'm totally down for Fairyland though.

Ooh! Now I'm starting to think of a really cool extraplanar adventure....

In the dimension known to some scholars as the Far Realm....

The place from which the spawn of Yog-Sothoth and the flying polyp emerged, and from whence Yog-Sothoth was narrowly prevented escaping....

Each round, you roll 1d20 plus your highest ability scores' modifier for the number of 5-ft squares you can move through this dimension....

Magic will work in unpredictable ways....

It's a really crazy plane.... There's a sense of motion, or inexorable, sucking gravity, even when you try to stay still, along alien curves in space....

You would perhaps be on a quest to visit a mythic shrine to the Elder Gods known to drift among this madness, and recover a mythic sutra or scroll from within, the reading of which would be a mythic trial....

Along the way--WACKINESS, baby!!

You DO know what it takes to create a phylactery... right? There are alot of things Derrik is cool with Lichdom is not one of them...
I was gunna say we could use this time to RP alot more before sending out on missions and then advancing with loots and levels.. which BTW we loot the Lich and all that... Y'know character interactions and whatnot. Also Yingzen.. Heavy armor wouldn't help you because you can only pick Path Dabbling.. once.

I just improved my headband of unshakable resolve to a headband of inspired wisdom +4 and improved my cloak of resistance from +3 to +5. I still have 5,416 gp though.
