PbP Gameday VII: SFS 1-12 Ashes of Discovery (Inactive)

This is part of Gameday VII and will run in the first session. Startday will be August 15th.
This is a couple of days after the start of Gameday VII to get the initial rush out of the way.

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.

When a major Pact Worlds organization approaches the Starfinder Society about investigating an abandoned outpost in Near Space, the PCs get assigned to the case. Travelling to a distant world, surmounting dangerous threats in the void of space, and meeting new alien cultures—this mission is about everything the Starfinder Society embodies.

Ashes of Discovery is a replayable scenario designed to help introduce players to what it's like to be a member of the Starfinder Society. With randomized mechanical and story elements, when you play this scenario, you'll never play the same scenario twice.

Expected posting rate will be roughly once a day with me reserving the right to NPC your character in if you haven't posted in 24 hours since the last post made to keep the flow going and the game moving forward.

Let me sign up with the pre-gen Obozaya, if that is ok. Posting will be iffy the first days, as I am still on holidays then and travelling, but fine from the 17th on.

Much as others might wish him death-touched, he isn't...even Pharasma doesn't want him anywhere near her. May I present Zapp Brannigan, the Man with no Name!

Zapp is a level one envoy with an adventure under his belt. He comes complete with Kif and his personality can be toned down on request.

Ok, decided on an mechanic, stats to follow, but am on holidays. Will probably just use the pre-gen stats of the Ysoki mechanics. On holidays and not so much access to internet....

Just for my information; did anyone already play this scenario? (and if yes, could you post a spoiler block with what you remember as having already encountered so I can filter those options out. I assume that people would prefer to meet something new.)

Thank you. I should inform you that I will be perhaps away on the 15th and 16th August because of PFS/SFS conv here. Let's see if I manage to connect anyway.

I don't know how to appear in the players and characters cases.

To appear on the character and player list, and to have this campaign show up in your 'Campaigns' tab, just scroll up to the top and click on the 'Gameplay' thread. Then make a post as the character you'll be using. (It can be anything). If it's an introductory post you can leave it there. If it's gibberish, just delete it afterwards.

I wanted to start a few days after the start of the gameday so that everyone (including me) would get the initial rush out of the way, but if PeteZero and Mec-01 both are going to be less available till the 17th I'll just relax my 1 post a day expected posting rate till say..the 18.

We'll still start and if everyone can post that's great..but otherwise we'll just start of more relaxed and wait for everyone to catch up before going ahead full steam (or nuclear power - whichever the case might be)

Well, I've to go to a wedding on the 18th. I know, it's a bit busy these days. But I think I can post on the 13th, 14th, perhaps 15th and/or 16th, 17th. The 18th will be difficult.
