The archer knows his position is not to defend anymore and must do a fold on a position prepared in advance. So he faces the stairs down as I assume looking at the plan that there is no wall around the stairs except on the right. and he's ready to fire an arrow at who or what will come out Ready action to shot once I see something or someone. He doesn't answer to Lovissa not to signal his presence here to someone who didn't see him fires arrows on the other side of the house. But it could be a good idea to come to help or to be prepared to get something through the living room's ceiling.

Correct, the doors are closed on the second level (I think all the ones on the 1st level have been opened by now) and you know the sounds of broken glass and shouting came from A6.

As the Pathfinders scurry around, with Arin managing to put out the fire next to the window as Lovissa closes in on the fire burning at the front doors, another volley of arrows sails upward from the distant archers and arc into and around the lightouse.

Burning Arrows: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

From upstairs, there is a sudden crashing sound as one of the intruders falls through the pit trap, slamming down to the lower floor with a startled cry of surprise mingled with pain! Styfis and Red also see the doors fly open, though only the elf can actually see the Golden League soldier, Red has no line of sight.

Styfis calmly sends a barrage of arrows into the soldier that just opened the door, turning him into a living pincushion as the Golden League saboteur drops in his tracks. Red's luck isn't as good as the elf's, but he does injury his own target. Lovissa quickly puts out the fire near her even as Arin does the same with a magical cantrip while Gray Son smacks the prone soldier with his tonfa.

More burning arrows fly in through the doors and windows as the surviving soldiers retaliate, the one in front of Grey Son stands up and backs away from the monk, grabbing a colored glass vial at his belt and hurling it at his foe even as the one facing Red does the same!

Burning Arrows: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Bomb Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 vs Gray Son's 'Touch' AC = Hit!
Bomb Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 2 = 12 fire (Gray gets a Reflex Save for half)

It looks like your first post attempt simply took a moment to show after posting (people have been seeing alot of this on the site recently). So probably your first post can be used. As for all the extra die-rolls, I'm guessing it's the "1d6d6d1d20" expression :)

Arin pops through the open door, looking for the next fire to put out. He finds nothing doing in the next room. Lovissa nods her head towards the opposite door as if to point his way, he nods back and crosses the room ready to continue his firefighting work.

Lovissa's wolf vanishes. She refocuses on the statuette in her pocket and channels her psychic powers through it once more, making the same wolf once again appear at her side. She gives the wolf a nod, then grips her sword, ready to hold the entrance. Standard action and a conjuration mental focus to use her servitor ability and call the wolf again. He's around for another minute.

Meanwhile, the wolf lopes off towards the nearest enemy and tries to bite them

Gray Son kicks the soldier as he struggles to rise and then manages to evade the fire bomb entirely, though Red isn’t so lucky, and he is burned by the splashing fire.

More arrows rain down upon the house, and though Gray Son’s follow-up attack doesn’t connect, the wolf bites the soldier in the leg, though he is able to avoid being knocked down by the animal (auto success vs DC 3) as Styfis misses wide with his arrow.

Bomb Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 vs Styfis’ 'Touch' AC = Hit!

Arin moves into the next room and puts out the next fire with another abyssal incantation of Create Water.

I assume these new fires are appearing courtesy of the flaming arrows coming in from outside? What is the consequence of not putting one out after one round? Two rounds?


Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Styfis and Red fire their arrows into the soldier, dropping him next to the bed, one hand hanging down limply into the ragged pit trap that the other one fell through. Lovissa peers out through the door and sees the archers at the very edge of her longbow range, standing still and raining fire down upon the lighthouse. The wolf and Gray Son have no luck bringing down their own foe, but the soldier is now pinned between them and unable to use his bombs.

Even more arrows rain down upon the house, as Arin puts out one of the fires, but the ones that ignite inside the house seem to burn quickly, and start spreading. The soldier squaring off against Gray Son seems prepared to fight to the death as he shifts away from the wolf and unsheathes a dagger, slashing at the monk and connecting as he cuts a shallow wound into his arm, though it burns like fire!

Burning Arrows: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Dagger Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 vs Gray Son's AC = Hit!
Dagger Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3 slashing (Grey Son needs a Fort Save vs poison)

Styfis hustles down the stairs with blinding speed and plants an arrow in the abdomen of the surviving soldier, who is finished off seconds later by Gray Son's well-aimed tonga blow - but the monk feels the venom from the dagger burning into his side...

Burning Arrows: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The flaming arrows continue to rain down, spearing through broken windows even as the fires already burning inside begin to spread quickly. Smoke billows down from the second floor, indicating fires up there are already threatening to overwhelm them from above even as more fires flare up on the first floor.

Lovissa manages to injure one of the archers, but sees other soldiers, these wearing robes, joining them and soon spells are being hurled at the lighthouse in addition to the burning arrows. Attempts to protect the house appear to be failing fast as the entire house begins to burn, the second floor is soon entirely engulfed and the first floor seems as though it will soon follow. Aarrows fired at the enemy seem to fall aside harmlessly, as though the targets are magically protected and they are too far away to engage in melee, though the soldiers are slowly closing in. It seems that holding the house is no longer tenable and using the secret door to access the lava caves as Amara and Kito did is their only hope now...

Player's Map - Slide #1

Grey Son, go ahead and give me a few more Fort Saves until you beat DC 18 once or fail five more times. Out of initiative for the moment, figure you all have about a minute to heal and do anything else you'd like. You can continue to attack the soldiers outside, but it is obvious that they are magically protected from arrows and moving into melee range will take you far away from the safety of the house. During that minute, the entire second level is slowly enveloped by fire and the first floor is quickly threatening to do the same as those fires already burning and those begun by more burning arrows override the efforts of Arin's spells and the efforts of the Pathfinders who seek to extinguish the flames through more mundane means.

Well, we were asked to save time to allow Lord Tsuneo to execute his ritual, not to perish inside this burning house. Go for now. The enemy won't find the secret door quickly with the smoke and the fire.

Then the archer casts a new spell on him and is ready to go into the unknown secret path behind the fireplace.I cast Heightened Awareness.
