A magical war between the archmages Geb and Nex left the landscape between their nations scarred and wracked by magical anomalies—a barren stretch known as the Mana Wastes. During the conflict, their generals also created countless weapons and defenses that pushed the limits of magic, yet most of these were destroyed in battle or lost forever. Recent investigations suggest that some of this ancient power is at play in an insular town outside Alkenstar, but there the trail runs cold. Can the PCs uncover the truth while braving the residents' eccentricities?
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-5.

Greetings! Do you like vine leshies? Have you ever wondered what might happen if you got an entire group of vine leshies together? Me too - let's find out! :)
This is a recruitment for #7-12 The Twisted Circle for the upcoming PbP Gameday VII. The game will begin during Session #1 on August 13th and will be low-tier. I am also limiting this particular game to vine leshy PCs only for no other reason than because it amuses me to do so. So if you've got a vine leshy character, please sign up! Currently I have five spots available and selection will be made via lottery should I get more than five interested parties.
Also, this scenario should be particularly enjoyable to those leshies who are nature-themed or who like their adventures with a healthy dose of investigation :)

I have a vine leshy rogue that I still have to transplant to the site, but I also have this gardener too if the party needs a babysitter/straight woman.
EDIT Actually I have two Caiwen here, and Summer who comes with one of two plant companions (I hadn't quite decided yet which).
Regardless, I'll have my leshy up in a day or two.

I totally want to play! I wanna play!
"Good leshy go to heaven. Bad leshy go everywhere." -Bad Seed's motto
"Bad Seed plays with fire. And fire plays back. He's from a strange planting, that one, a little huskier than most vines and definitely not right. I mean, he plays with fire, and I'm pretty sure he takes sadistic pleasure in setting fire to things."
"I recommend we send him on field duty. I mean, at least it gets him out of the Grand Lodge, right?"
-Unnamed Pathfinder describing the strangle little plant guy with the burn marks

Huzzah! I'm so happy to see that there's some interest in this idea; I was worried that maybe I'd be the only one who thought it sounded cool.
At any rate, looks like we've got a bumper crop of leshies ready to get to work for the Society! I'll leave recruitment open until tomorrow evening and then determine the seating arrangements, so that you fine folks aren't sitting around waiting for too terribly long :)

Alas, yes you do. It's the current GM boon on offer for running at conventions but I think we're due to rotate to something new...I believe starting July. If you happen to have other boons for PFS it's always possible to trade for a vine leshy if you'd like to have one!
I'm aware that having this particular race restriction on this game will shut out some people who might have been interested in playing - something I did give a lot of thought to before deciding to run the game. However, it's my hope that with the many offerings currently on deck for Gameday games (and the many more to potentially follow in the coming weeks and months) that having this one game be a little more restrictive won't be a deal-breaker for anyone's enjoyment of PFS, PbP, and PbP PFS.
Not to mention there's a good possibility I'll offer to run the scenario again at a later date with a much more 'normal' recruitment process :)

All-Harsks! It's called "Harsk mode". Everyone plays the Pathfinder iconic, Harsk, reskinned to reflect that player's particular Harsk play-style.

Harskfinder! I have heard some tales!
I'm going to lurk on this thread. I am really tempted to make a Leshy and throw my hat in - but I think I shall already be at capacity come Gameday and I would have to burn a replay boon too. It's a super choice for an all-Leshy game.

Alrighty! So let's see...for interested players we have:
(1) Reserved Spot
(2) Agent Eclipse
(3) Caro Cogitatus
(4) Great Green God
(5) Abraham Z.
(6) Greenclaw
(7) James Martin
(8) PJP
(9) CariMac
(10) Sedoriku
And you know what? Double-Leshies are even better than Singletons so I'll be taking all of you (presuming all of the above are still interested) and we'll make two groups of it! :)
For now, I'll ask everyone to go ahead and poke their heads into Discussion so that I can keep track of you until I can make a second campaign page. Then we'll split off into our groups. Sound good? :)
*NOTE* I'll take 2 groups of 6 so this means that there are still two spots open! Since they posted first, eddv and supervillan have first crack at these spots if they decide to change their minds about burning GM stars. Otherwise, I'll open it up to the first two additional people to post interest :)
