Class Abilities:

PLANT BOND (Ex): Treesinger
At 1st level, a treesinger forms a mystic bond with plant life. … The second option is to form a close bond with a plant companion. A treesinger may begin play with any of the plants listed in Plant Companions. This plant is a loyal companion that accompanies the treesinger on her adventures. Except for the companion being a creature of the plant type, drawn from the list of plant companions, this ability otherwise works like the standard druid’s animal companion ability.

Plant bond replaces the druid’s nature bond ability.

GREEN EMPATHY (Ex): Treesinger
At 1st level, a treesinger can improve the attitude of a plant creature. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The treesinger rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical wild plant creature has a starting attitude of indifferent.

To use green empathy, the treesinger and the plant creature must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing a plant creature in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.

A treesinger can also use this ability to influence an animal, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check. This ability replaces the wild empathy class feature.

A green scourge can lose a prepared 1st- or 2nd-level spell in order to cast shillelagh or flame blade, respectively. She can instead choose to lose a higher-level spell in order to increase the enhancement bonus of her shillelagh, or to add any of the following weapon special abilities to her shillelagh or flame blade: bane (aberrations only), frost, mighty cleaving, returning, shock, throwing, or vicious. If the target weapon is a quarterstaff, these bonuses apply to only one of its ends. If a flame blade gains the frost or shock special ability, the base damage of the spell changes to match the energy type; neither a flame blade nor shillelagh can gain both of these special abilities. A green scourge cannot add the throwing property to a flame blade unless she also adds the returning property.

When adding weapon special abilities or increasing the enhancement bonus, the final level of the spell expended is 1 higher than the base spell level (2nd for shillelagh and 3rd for flame blade), increased by the additional special abilities’ total base price modifier (see Table 15–9 on page 469 of the Core Rulebook). For example, creating an aberration-bane vicious flame blade requires spending a 5th-level spell slot, which also counts as a 5th-level spell for purposes of dispelling.

This ability alters spontaneous casting.

ABERRATION SENSE (Ex): Green Scourge
At 1st level, a green scourge adds Knowledge (dungeoneering) to her class skills and gains a +2 bonus on Knowledge (dungeoneering) checks.

This replaces nature sense.

Racial Abilities:
Vine leshys have pass without trace as a constant spell-like ability (caster level 2nd).

Vine leshys can transform into vines, with results similar to tree shape. In this form, the leshy appears as a particularly healthy Small vine. The leshy can assume plant form or revert to its true form as a swift action.

Vine leshys can speak with vines as if subject to a continual speak with plants spell.

When slain, a vine leshy explodes in a burst of fertile energies. All plant creatures within 30 feet of the slain leshy regain hit 1d8 points, and vines quickly infest the area. If the terrain can support vines, the undergrowth is dense enough to make the region into difficult terrain for 24 hours, after which the plant life diminishes to a normal level; otherwise, this plant life has no significant effect on movement and withers and dies within an hour.

Vine leshys gain a +4 racial bonus on Stealth checks in forests.

Vine leshys gain a +2 racial bonus on Climb checks.

Feats and traits:

Totem Beast

Your animal companion becomes spiritually connected to an animal totem that has a spiritual significance for you or your background, such as a Shoanti clan’s animal totem.

Prerequisites: Wis 13, animal companion class feature.

Select one animal aspect from the list presented in the hunter class’s animal focus class feature. Your animal companion has natural coloration suggestive of this aspect—a bear might have a dark spot in the shape of a bat, or a hawk might have unusual tiger striping in its feathers. Your animal companion gains the benefits of the selected animal aspect, treating its Hit Dice as its effective hunter level for this ability. This bonus doesn’t stack if the animal companion is already under the benefit of the same animal aspect because of the actual class feature. Bull focus chosen, +2 to strength.

Weathered Emissary
Category: (Social)
Your travels in the wildlands gave you insight into how to survive their dangers and communicate with their inhabitants. You gain a +1 trait bonus on all Linguistics and Survival checks, and Linguistics is always a class skill for you.

Avid Reader
Category: (Social)
As a youth, you voraciously consumed books and scrolls provided by a member of an adventurer’s guild or a learned organization like the Pathfinder Society, and you have internalized these stories of bold adventurers. Choose one Knowledge skill. You can always choose to take 10 on checks with the chosen Knowledge skill, even when distracted or threatened.
