FYI - Rumor has it there is an "interesting" boon in We Be Goblins, Too, that Cyrus's cavalier might want. :P
(technically it is only a reskin, but still)

Cyrus, should I pull one of those at the next Con that I am at, I would be happy to send it your way. Which animal were you looking for?
That would be amazing! Don't short yourself a boon if you could use it though.. :) Thanks!
I am not entirely positive how the boon works, but I have a halfling cavalier who rides a dog.
Aaaand..... Whatever do you mean by the boon in We Be Goblins? Or will I be finding out when I get the sheet? I did apply WBG to that character, interestingly enough...

I was trying to brainstorm a good painting description Gunari, but you nailed it. Glad you got your post in before I got an idea... Very Nice!

That boon is on We Be Goblins, Too (same characters at level 3).
I would love to run that one for you guys as well!

We Be Goblins, Too is a 2-4 FreeRPG Day module (so 1xp & 1pp). That would work, actually, to get people a little caught up to Gunari!
The boon does have to be used by that character... typically for a chronicle boon.

Jyri, just as an aside, this game needs to be reported ASAP if you'd like it to be included in PBP Gameday 3 (you get a Sylph boon as GM). I'd imagine you'd want to report it before the USA wakes up. We can obviously continue to roleplay it out to wind things up, but please just make sure you get the reporting done here.
| GM Karma |
I think there was time until Feb 3rd to report it. But reported it anyway. Do I need report it also via "My account" / "Pathfinder Society" / "Sessions"?
One more thing: You'll have a choice of boon, let me know which one you want, and I'll cross the others off. And if it's the "New recruits", let me know which character it will be (I'm not sure if this can be left open?)
Changing Circumstances: As your faction’s focus shifts, you are quick to learn the skills needed to accomplish the evolving goals. You may use this boon at the end of an adventure to replace one of your two starting traits for a faction trait from your faction, though you cannot have more than one faction
trait. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.
New Recruits: Your faction’s success enables it to recruit and train new members. You may designate
one newly created PC under your Pathfinder Society number who shares your faction as a new recruit. This additional training grants that PC one of the faction’s traits as a bonus trait, though the PC cannot have more than one faction trait. You must include a copy of this Chronicle sheet with the new PC’s records, though that PC gains no additional boons, equipment, or wealth from this Chronicle sheet.
Character receiving this boon: – Faction: GM Initials:
Old Loyalties: Your faction recognizes your tireless efforts on its behalf. You can use this boon to reduce the Prestige Point cost of a vanity or prestige award by an amount equal to your Fame divided by 10. This cannot reduce the cost of a vanity or award below 0. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.

Game does have until Feb 3 to be reported.
I'll be reporting WBG today.
I'll go ahead and take New Recruits (for a third time!) Getting an extra trait is so amazingly good (I can see my next T.E. character getting either Upstanding or Tireless. Really, Tireless gives you +1 hp?
Thanks, Jyri, it was fun!

That was super fun - well run Jyri. I have some very big GM shoes to fill between the 3 of you. Finarin will choose Old Loyalties.

Yeah, great work on the GM chair, Jyri! Thanks a heap for stepping up to run this for us. I was getting concerned that I might not get to play this keystone adventure in PFS! Great to see my concerns were unfounded.
The adventure does seem a little contrived, though. I do hope there is some background stuff in there that explains better why all this is happening at exactly the same time and coinciding directly with the Society's uncharacteristic party celebration. Actually hoping that there's another sequel adventure that deals with the fallout some more (and that they don't end up hand waving it all).

Great job running the game, sir! Miro will take Old Loyalties, please.

Thanks so much for running this! I really enjoyed it, and it was fun to do something specific for my faction, even if it wasn't the best encounter of the bunch. (taldor wins in a landslide). Cyrus will be taking changing circumstances, and there will be some equipment updates once we get our chronicle gold!

Thanks to you all! You were awesome, once again. I have to say that while the scenario covers many approaches to you getting to the paintings, starting a workers revolution wasn't one of them :) Fun times! There wasn't much challenges in the encounters for you, but I don't this is a difficult scenario anyway. The hungry flesh might have been, but with Ibid-o-pedia with you, there is no chance you wouldn't know everything about your enemies.
@Lort, unfortunately it isn't explained in-game why this change now, and everything at the same time. OOC, sure, it's the change of season and there was demand for factions without nation ties. I'm not sure if it's just suspension of disbelief that needs to be applied. Some of this might have come up during season 5 scenarios, but since I didn't GM any, I don't know the backgrounds of all. Maybe Silbeg would know more, I think he has fair share of scenarios in the GM side.
BTW, the Scarab Sages foundations were laid in the Destiny of the Sands trilogy, and Sovereign Court.. Well it's pretty much the S5 main plot, raising the army kicking some demon assume.. In that sense, you could get even more out this scenario if you "had been there" in certain S5 scenarios.

On the difficulty... we were particularly lucky on the Grand Lodge mission... that one can be particularly difficult. I had a near death in a game I ran on this, and the alchemist had a kill.
The Liberty's Edge mission is one of the more difficult, due to a critter you have to fight, but only because of that one critter. The Exchange has an interesting mission, where you can see a little into the convoluted mind of "Uncle Guaril" with an encounter that can also be a killer.
But, SoCo mission is perhaps the most... entertaining.
Great job, Jyri! May you rise to GM once more!

Thanks for running the game, it was amazing! I'm so glad we got to go through Paths, I've been wanting to play in it since I heard about it months and months ago, and it did not disappoint! Well done!

@Ibid: Let me know which boon you want
@All: You'll get 1280 gold and 2PP, so you can start buying stuff while I finish the chronicles

Ibid gets another Boon?!?!? Gimme a minute, I'll let you know real quick, I just need to look them up again. I must have missed the boon rolls, I didn't know Ibid got a boon! But I'm happy about, for sure.
This is turning out to be a great day.

The chronicle boon, everyone gets one :)
I think you're the only one yet to tell his choice.

Just FYI - I'm adding in my day job gold as well, hopefully will have my full sheet updated. GOing to take a 1 scenario hit in AC as I re-do my armor.... I will post my purchases in the bloodcove discussion thread

Sorry for taking my time. The chronicles are here
Check that everything is correct.
And I'm not so completionist on the chronicles as Silbed is :) Hope that's ok with you...
