Male Human

Ouch, that had to hurt. If the rest of him has those I can see why he'd be dead. Does someone wanna dig him out? Looks kinda weird seeing him like this.

Male Dwarven 1st Champion ??/??; Perception+?; AC ??; Fort +??; Reflex+??; Will ??

Hedrick have a look see. Lets make sure this isnt yet another ambush
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

YOU SEE NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY KILAIN! ANYONE ELSE WANT TO GET IN ON THE ACTION? DEAD BODY UNDER THE SNOW.

Outsider Synthesist Eidolon (Biped) 5, HP: (19)24/(40)24, AC 23 /t 13 /f 19, F 6, R 6, W 6/8, Init +2, Darkvision 60', Sp 3/5, 2/3

Great Mastiff steps forward to determine the best angle to take hold of the frozen corpse, grasps & pulls.

Male Dwarven 1st Champion ??/??; Perception+?; AC ??; Fort +??; Reflex+??; Will ??

Kilain will back up Grey, keeping an eye out and a hand on the hammer

You try to pull the body but the snow covering him is pretty deep. You do manage to hear a bone snap in one of the dead mans legs. You then decide to remove as much snow as possible to make the removal process easier and less damaging to the corpse out of respect.

Male Human

Rickard will try to move off the snow as the others are trying to get the corpse out. Be careful of all those things in his legs. I wonder if he has any more.

AC 17, touch 12, flat-footed 15 (+5 armor, +2 Dex) hp 11 (1d8+3) Fort +4, Ref +2, Init +2; Perception +7 Sense motive +8 Spell-craft +5

<sigh>"At this point we should have brought a pick axe and shovel with us. I have done more excavating in this endeavor of getting to the camp. . . If we find a genie in a lamp we should ask for a pitcher of ever flowing boiling water."

Male Human

Or fire. Maybe we should try a fire to help melt the snow? Unless you think this guy will go up in flames if we try that.

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Kjell assists with the excavation, grumbling...

He won't feel the flames.

Male Dwarven 1st Champion ??/??; Perception+?; AC ??; Fort +??; Reflex+??; Will ??

Kilain grumbles at the cold and effort of accomplishing things. Kjell, how do you people stand this thrice damned snow

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Well, fer one, I usually am not playing in it like this. Why is it we need this frozen corpse?

AC 17, touch 12, flat-footed 15 (+5 armor, +2 Dex) hp 11 (1d8+3) Fort +4, Ref +2, Init +2; Perception +7 Sense motive +8 Spell-craft +5

"Ha ha! Good question actually, I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time. Hopefully he has some treasure on him."

It takes the group about 15 minutes to remove enough snow to remove the man from the frozen grave. Along with the body, his possessions still remain with him. Looking but no more than a simple farmer, his items show that he may once have been part of a militia or town guard.

Treasure Includes a composite longbow (+1 Str) with 12 arrows; a dagger; a masterwork handaxe; and a pouch containing 14 gp, 25 sp, and 18 cp.

Male Human

Does the man have more of those things sticking out of him, like the ones in his legs?

Is the bow and stuff still good? Maybe we could use them at least. Poor guy. Wonder what happened?

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Nice lookin' handaxe. I would like it, if no one else is interested.

AC 17, touch 12, flat-footed 15 (+5 armor, +2 Dex) hp 11 (1d8+3) Fort +4, Ref +2, Init +2; Perception +7 Sense motive +8 Spell-craft +5

"I have no problem with that personally, but one of the other party members might be better armed with it. If anyone else has need of these items please speak now or we will let Kjell claim it. Also Kjell, my bow is of stronger pull than this one, but if it is a greater draw weight than your bow you should carry it."

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

I do not use a bow, my friend. I am an Axe man, I throw them as well as cleave with the biggun'.

AC 17, touch 12, flat-footed 15 (+5 armor, +2 Dex) hp 11 (1d8+3) Fort +4, Ref +2, Init +2; Perception +7 Sense motive +8 Spell-craft +5

"Axes are great weapons and tools. They are very versitile, but i haven't met a man able to throw one over 100 paces and consistantly hit a target. Of course I haven't seen you throw yet." The elf said without malice.

Male Human

Well, that bow looks to be of better quality than the one I presently own. If no one wants it, I'll take it and someone could have my old one if they wanna keep it handy or something.

Outsider Synthesist Eidolon (Biped) 5, HP: (19)24/(40)24, AC 23 /t 13 /f 19, F 6, R 6, W 6/8, Init +2, Darkvision 60', Sp 3/5, 2/3

Looking down at his butcher's block fists, Great Mastiff shrugs. ][Most items greater than these are beyond my capabilities.][ Considering for a moment. ][If you feel it is a better weapon than your own, perhaps you might leave yours here as recompense for his family...][

Once you decide who is taking what. What do you do next?

Male Dwarven 1st Champion ??/??; Perception+?; AC ??; Fort +??; Reflex+??; Will ??

Kilain picks up the pouch and quickly disperses the coins- 2 gold each +2 Gold towards the party expense account, 4 Silver each and 1 silver to the expense account, and 3 copper each

Male Human

Rats, forgot this guy is not proficient with a longbow, hence why I have a shortbow. Never mind.

What do you do with the body?

Male Human

Rickard takes one last look at the body, seeing if there are any unusual markings or such on it. I am not trained in Heal so it would strictly be by my perception.

Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

If nothing is detected Rickard will leave the site, taking nothing more than his share of the gold and wait for the others to leave again.

You don't see anything other than the pin-like icicles protruding from his body.

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Ok, then, let's move shall we?

Outsider Synthesist Eidolon (Biped) 5, HP: (19)24/(40)24, AC 23 /t 13 /f 19, F 6, R 6, W 6/8, Init +2, Darkvision 60', Sp 3/5, 2/3

][Perhaps Killain might say a few words?][ Great Mastiff opines as he looks from the body to the area around them.
untrained Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12, trying to get a sense of where the killing blow came from...

Male Dwarven 1st Champion ??/??; Perception+?; AC ??; Fort +??; Reflex+??; Will ??

Glancing at Mastiff, Kilain muttered huuurrmmmm as he nodded. Aye, I can do that, though Im bettin the ground is too cold to bury him, and a funeral pyre probably out of the question, so there is no proper way to see him off.

He moves to stand over the dead and mutters a prayer to the gods to watch over this soul on its journey to peace.

Then quickly he looks up and says Now lets be goin. Im eager to get this cold behind me

You sadly leave the body behind you wishing you could have done a proper burial. As you keep walking the trail begins to climb a ridgeline to the south beneath snow-laden trees. The prints of boots and horses mar the freshly fallen snow on the trail.

Male Human

Are these the tracks of the men that you guys have been trying to find?

AC 17, touch 12, flat-footed 15 (+5 armor, +2 Dex) hp 11 (1d8+3) Fort +4, Ref +2, Init +2; Perception +7 Sense motive +8 Spell-craft +5

The prints are definitely human shoe prints.

][Ah, that is where the assault came from.][ Great Mastiff states, pointing in the direction of the arrows. Following this with the beginnings of an arcane incantation.
Casting Mage Armor on himself.

Male Human

What is happening? Rickard looks around, crouching, trying to find where the arrows are coming from so he can return fire.

The arrows seem to be coming from the top of the hill behind some thick cover of bushes.

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Is there a way up to that location without getting peppered with arrows?...Will there be a map on Roll20?

You notice a side trail trough the trees which will give you cover (+2 to AC) it will take 2 rounds double movement to get to the attackers If you choose this option I will do 2 rounds of attacks then initiative will take place.

No map for this one. The next part is all map!

Attackers initiative. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Initiative order

Hedrick
Kjell
Great Mastiff
Rickard
Kilain
Bandits

Two Handed Fighter/4; AC: 21; HP: 47/47; F: +6, R: +4, W: +1; Init: +3; Perc: +1

Ok...double moving it!

Male Human

Doesn't seem like we have much choice. I'll follow Kjell!
