Isador emits an involuntary squeak when the vines spring from the ground and envelope the party. His eyes go wide upon seeing Caoilte go down and his countenance hardens seeing the fey converge on Havelockk.

He jumps free from the writhing foliage and takes up a position with a clear line of sight of the fey attacking Havelockk. He pulls his bow into position and attempts to knock one in its noggin.

Please, please, please:

Attack (MW Shortbow): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Tarek begins to wonder who is responsible for feeding these creatures after midnight

I don't think it effective against the quicklings but forgot to roll good damage
Good War Blessing Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

The Archons fight on!

Isador lines up a shot and manages to land an arrow on the speedy quickling, but the arrow bounces off harmlessly.

Kat also fires a shot but also misses the mark.

Havelock shakes his head and successfully fights off the grig's magical attempt at humor. He presses his attack on the fey but is unable to land a blow.

Eloriand fires and arrow, but also misses.

Tarek fights the vines trying to hold him in place and makes his way to striking distance. His desperate swing lands on the quickling, who emits a high pitched grunt as he fights off the blow.

The grig once again turns its attention to Havelock. It waives it's small hands and again speaks with the force of a magical incantation "Not to your tastes manling? Very well, perhaps you prefer the one about the frog and the two toads?" Make another Will save 'lock.

End round 4, begin round 5.

The quickling to the north reels and staggers after Tarek's blow. It curses the aaasimar in its fast high pitched voice and darts into the woods in a blurry flash.

The remaining quickling presses its attack on Havelock, slicing the magus with its tiny sword causing yet another cut on his arm. 'lock takes 2 damage which I believe puts him at 3 hp.

Party up.

Spoiler:

Brew, Double check, but I should be at 19 HPs as I healed up after the last encounter. I should started the encounter with 29 HPs. I also need a lesson in how to make sure hero lap is synced via drop box to my lap top.

Losing patience.

will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Pulling from my Arcane Pool. I should one point left and one left from 88

Assuming the will save worked.

Defensive Cast: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

I step in and swing back at the quickling.

88 LS Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Using the blade to distract I fire Magic Missiles in its face.

Magic Missile damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 2 = 10

Tarek attempts to charge and attack the Grig that is casting spells at Havelockk.

not sure if it is a bull rush but Tarek will attempt a combat manuever that allows for a move and attack

Combat Maneuver: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Attack Falcata: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

I thought charge was a combat manuever but it is a special attack. Up to GM which roll gets used. I thought 2 dice rolls were needed but only one is. If the first roll is kept then add +3 to roll

Charge:
After moving, you may make a single melee attack. You get a +2 bonus on the attack roll and take a –2 penalty to your AC until the start of your next turn.

Weapon Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Good Blessing Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Seeing Tarek focus on the fey that is casting spells, Isador takes a shot at the little bugger in an attempt to disrupt its incantations.

Attack MW Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage Arrow: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Tapping whats left of his arcane reserves, Havelock presses the last quickling for a final assault. His black blade surges with magical forces coursing through the magus. Havelock swings wildly at the quickling, forcing it back just a moment. The move buys Havelock enough time to launch a a volley of magical force at the quickling. The little fey's vibrating body jerks each time a missile strikes. The fey survives the attack, but is clearly damaged. He looks at the magus and curses in a high pitched voice, then abruptly turns and flees the village in an almost invisible streak.

Seeing its last line of defense flee, the grig follows suit and hops away into the forest. It turns as for a final taunt before disappearing into the woods. "This round to you manlings, but we shall never forgive this trespass. We shall return, and we will not stop until this place is returned to the wood." The little cricket creature takes another giant leap, out of sight into the trees.

The agents, battered but victorious, take a moment to catch their breath. As they tend to their wounds, Isador notes the main clock ticks to 12:34. Suddenly, the anomalies about the town cease, portals snapping shut with an audible pop. The western clock face once again spins wildly out of control, the other three faces desynchronize, and the clock tower emits a deep resonant bass tone thirteen times before going silent.

Henbane, the starnge dryad from the tower turns to the party after seeing the fey forces retreat. "Well done, Pathfinders. The creatures of the wood are naught easily bested. I fear to trust, but the time tells me our bargain shall ring true. You are a most curious lot, Pathfinders, and I am eager to tell my patron of you. The Many will take notice, I believe, though I cannot say if that bids fortune or despair. I suppose time shall tell." She inclines her head with a note of respect and focuses her attention on Tarek. "Forget not our bargain, child of the stars, I shall return forthwith to begin my cleansing of the tower and, should I find resistance, I shall consider it a breach of our bargain." The dryad eyes Tarek with a fierce stare and smiles coolly. SHe turns and walks into the wood, fading from sight upon reaching the edge of the forest.

Mayor Ogden find her way to the group looking a bit ragged. She is followed by Mayor Mieren. Seeing the Pathfinders, her spirits are visibly lightened. "Thank the gods! I am glad to see you have survived. Please, tell us what happened?"

Scenario is complete at this point. Feel free to respond to Ogden and I will post wrap up later this afternoon.

Wiping the sweat from my brow and tasting the salt on my lips from my own blood and sweat I place Ahe-Dee-Ate in the scabbard, watching the ebony, arcane blue edged slide slide in. Thanks friend.

Limping over Caolite, actually I would have done this immediately and immediately apply life save measures to stabilize his bleeding and wounds if his own body has not already, not paying much heed to the Mayor, figuring Tarek or somebody far better suited to diplomacy can handle that task until I am satisfied the ax man will not be departing this world.

Heal: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10. hmmm, I hope I can keep trying or that end of scenario means Caoilte is out of trouble.
Say folks, love to chat, but can I get a little help here with Caoilte?

@Havelock Tarek was able to cast Stabilize on Caoilte last round and he is now stable but at -2 hp.

Mayor Ogden thanks the agents profusely for their efforts and Mayor Mieren apologizes for doubting the Archosn efforts, Mayor Ogden tells the group that she intends to write a letter to Venture Captain Smine detailing the successes of the agents.

The Archons return to the lodge, enjoying a deserved rest.
