Any idea when it will be done? There were only 4 sign ups, so unless someone else signs up, or one of you have a friend that wants to hop in, this table won't make without you.

This particular scenario is for levels 3 to 7. I'd direct you to the Flaxseed Lodge post that is stickied in the recruiment forum or can be found here to get involved with PFS play by post games.

I am flexible. Sophia and Laiashi can play lvl 4 pregens if they want. It looks like Zavita is willing to play low tier.
Thanks for jumping in Qwerty. I've send messages to Sophia and Laiashi. If they join up, I think the table ends up at APL 5 regardless of what you play Wei, so it wouldn't matter what you play,s so one of the 5, 6 or 7 level characters seems prudent. If they don't decide to play with pregens, I think a Level 3 character would get the APL down to 4, so you guys could play lower tier. I'll let you know when I hear from either of them (or they will hopefully come check in). I'm going to go ahead and post the intro blurb in the gameplay thread.
Laiashi has opted not to play a pre-gen, but Sophia is going to play the Wizard. That means that the party is currently sitting at exactly 4.5 APL.
Qwerty, that means if you play a level 3 or 4 character, that pushes the APL down and puts you guys in low tier. If you play something 5+, it pushes you up into the high tier. I'd probably recommend a level 3 or 4 character.

Maruka, yes any it is double the cost, and if you wish to purchase an enhancement on it later, there is 2000 gp "tax" for the first enhancement.
Second, you can not start a brand new character at level 4. If you do not have a character in the appropriate tier, you can play a pregen and put it to credit for your character. Whether you want to hold it until your character gets to level 4 or the GM can reduce the gold so you can spend it now.
He is using the Wizard pre-gen. He changed the name, which I'm ok with.
Maruka - per the wizard pre-gen character sheet, you currently have 65gp to spend on items as you see fit. Everything Zavita said about the col iron weapon is correct.

No worries. This is actually only my second crack at GMing a PBP game (or a PFS game for that matter), so I'm sure there are gaps in my knowledge), so feel free to pipe up if you see me fubaring something.

I have a quick question GM (by the way, great job so far). This is my first ever Pathfinder experience so I'm still pawing through the CRB as I go along. When you, as the GM, put a DC check in the gameplay, is it expected that players will then roll that and then comment on the outcome, or should we just roll and then wait for you? E.g Sir Ilian's sense motive check, which I failed at, I then RP'd around, but should I have just left my dice roll?
By the way, I think I fubared the roll as I didn't add my modifier but I still would have failed it so I didn't roll again.
Yea, if I put something under a spoiler tag with a skill check listed, feel free to roll the check and comment as appropriate. You're doing great so far. :D
Just an FYI, I am going on vacation tomorrow. I intend to keep things moving about the pace they are, but tomorrow I will likely not be able to post until the evening as I'll be traveling all day.
Sorry about no update today... Been traveling since this morning and just made it home. Back to it tomorrow though!

Summon (Sp) A creature with the summon ability can summon other specific creatures of its kind much as though casting a summon monster spell, but it usually has only a limited chance of success (as specified in the creature's entry). Roll d%: On a failure, no creature answers the summons. Summoned creatures automatically return whence they came after 1 hour. A creature summoned in this way cannot use any spells or spell-like abilities that require material components costing more than 1 gp unless those components are supplied, nor can it use its own summon ability for 1 hour. An appropriate spell level is given for each summoning ability for purposes of Will saves, caster level checks, and concentration checks. No experience points are awarded for defeating summoned monsters.
It acts as summon monster 1 which is a 1 round worth of casting.

I left the character name on yours blank. What you do is, once you make your own character and they hit level 3, go ahead and apply it to that character. So just hang on to it until you have a character high enough level to use it.
