Koemi - I would provide substantial circumstance bonuses for such an action!

![]() |

Ok, guess then there is no need to help her anymore atm.
The moonlight bridge will dissolve after i went back, so i need to wait untill after Kyra moved up.

![]() |

Gah. I'm realizing how cool it would be if I were to add levels in Swashbuckler... but alas, I have not bought the ACG yet... GAH and there are such cool things in it too...
On a slightly calmer note... OZ SMASH PUNY GNOLL!!!

GM - Mark Garringer |

Yes, yes I did. :)
I believe it is officially the first one in a PFS scenario.

Kyra Soulkeeper |

You know, I was almost to make same question this morning xD
After looking at the campaign character's portraits carefully and counting the tokens I arrived to the conclusion it is a foe. Probably the one that pushed me to the water?

Kyra Soulkeeper |

J!~z, so in the end that guy is with us. xd

![]() |

Just wanted to toss this out there:
At this point, we have a giant, shielded warrior, abounding haste and a small flock of eagles. I say we don't dally on the top deck (after a little more clean-up) and rush down below deck with buffs-aplenty and see what chaos we can wreak. Worst case - if its just empty - at least we know the ship is ours and we can deal with the casualties afterward (if we manage to not straight up kill everything).
If Thaddaeus can't fit down the stairs, I'm pretty sure he's strong enough to lift/bust open those grates in the middle.
Pewpewpew!

GM: No reflex save to avoid a fall?
Found this:
Covered pits are much more dangerous. They can be detected with a DC 20 Perception check, but only if the character is taking the time to carefully examine the area before walking across it. A character who fails to detect a covered pit is still entitled to a DC 20 Reflex save to avoid falling into it. If she was running or moving recklessly at the time, however, she gets no saving throw and falls automatically.
Thaddaeus: Unfortunately, all I have is Infernal Healing also, and it won't stack with the shot you already have. I'm sure our divines can toss you something.
All: I have some ideas about what to do next (I have lots of mayhem and destruction left in me this adventuring day), but I'll have to wait a few hours because I can't access google docs form work.

GM - Mark Garringer |

Actually Malus is right, and the scenario expressly calls for a Reflex save to avoid falling down. In my excitement I forgot that bit.
Thaddaeus go ahead and make a Reflex save, I think you are at a total of +3 on that roll currently?

![]() |

Come to think of it, he's probably tall enough to just climb back out even if he does fall in, haha.

Kyra Soulkeeper |

Don't forget +1 to reflex from haste

![]() |

Now that I think about it, depending on how my next attack goes, this might be the second pirate captain Ozymandias takes down in his carear.
Hehehe this will only be another title in his very long name! Marquis Ozymandias The Lion Blade, Slayer of the Yeti, Destroyer of the Mythic, Beacon of the Dawnflower, Demonbane, The Pirate Slayer.

![]() |

Honestly, they are probably both on the cusp of death at this point...

Kyra Soulkeeper |

I also think that one has enough problems with the lion and the eagles over him.

Kyra Soulkeeper |

There seems to be some stairs East of Thad in the Hold.
Are they arriving to were we are, or landing into a different floor or inside a room still to explore?
What's the height to jump if we descend the fast way to the hold?

![]() |

I also want to know how high it is. I'm thinking that the enraged, dancing bardbarian monk is going to jump into 'The Abyss' after Thad. He has to save him after all ^_^

![]() |

Work? Work? How dare you have a life outside of tabletop gaming!
Since sarcasm doesn't trasnlate well via text... Consider this my telling you that I was being sarcastic.

Kyra Soulkeeper |

I don't know if I am allowed to coup-de-grace the dogs, but my criticals deal +2 fire damage.

![]() |

Man, this arcanist is really coming into his own even at level three. Can't wait to see how he performs at higher levels.

![]() |

You know... that comment makes me want to stab her. If only I were playing a Chaotic Neutral character... if only... can anyone else make a knowledge local check to see who that is?

Kyra Soulkeeper |

Keep calm Ozy xD
We will gather info if needed. Maybe the slaves know the name.
I say move them to the Zone of Truth and interrogate, just in case that person is not one of them.

GM - Mark Garringer |

Why would a captured bad guy want to goad you into killing them rather than talk?
Mwhahahahahahahahahahaha.

![]() |

Hm... Mark, how does one become a sanctified priest in one of your scenarios? I don't necessarily want to cast spells, but I want the title of priest to appear on a chronicle in the near future. XD Trust me, I swear it isn't to further Ozy's vanity in the least ^_^

![]() |

Just two pathfinders carrying out a violent interrogation in the name of Sarenrae. Nothing to see here, move along. :P

GM - Mark Garringer |

Or, as I like to call it - Pathfinder Society.
It always amuses me how players view their characters as some kind of extra-legal agent of any/all legal organizations just because they are trained grave robbers :) Being a Pathfinder is a free pass to behave 'however you want' - 'because Pathfinders!'
I am also totally guilty of this behavior as a player and I'm not judging at all, just having fun. :)

![]() |

Hehehe. Sewer Dragons of Absolom. I played that with a different character, so I could safely roll my eyes, though Ozy here has heard NOTHING of that tale and so is impressed.

GM - Mark Garringer |

We are getting close to the end here, so if you guys want to go ahead and roll day jobs and make sure you PFS number is on your profile (or posted here) that'll help with the paperwork.
Looks like Koemi, Oxymandias and Thaddaeus don't have their PFS numbers on their profile (or I overlooked them). Thanks!

And seriously, this was great!
Though now I'm thinking back to my time in The Hellknight's Feast. Have I forgotten about something in that module that related to this one? :/ It's going to bug me now.
Profession: Soldier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Kyra Soulkeeper |

Are we done?
Wow! This moved quite fast!
Thanks all, and specially Mark for the smooth nice game!
The ship combat was really original to me, congrats!
I felt though like we missed something, don't know if that is true.

By the way I did not feel lesser for playing with a pregen. Thanks again.

(Take ten, I always do on this), Craft Mechanical, Masterwork Tools, Crafter's Fortune: 10 + 8 + 2 + 5 = 25

No day job for Iason. Wrangling obedience from Etrigan takes up all his time...

Kyra Soulkeeper |

Ok, after Iason speech I am getting clues to make a better picture on my head.
As someone recently arrived to PFS this was having no meaning or sense at all. The fact you end up playing scenarios very randomly, specially when so many seasons have passed, makes following any history quite difficult.
I don't know if I want to know more, as I prefer to stay as much spoiler free as possible.
I would love though to see a list of recommended order to play/GM scenarios in order to make sense of different plots and not getting spoilered. Does something like that already exist?
