Yes, I agree we should be cautious, but perhaps our fearsome response will put fear into the hearts of the little drgaon want to be types that they will no longer present us a problem.

Should we see what is across the way?

Liberty's Edge

Male Nagaji Ninja/1

Is the stream shallow enough to wade across or is the current too strong? Tsukai will attempt to locate a spot that is safe to cross. If there is no way to walk across then he will attempt to leap across

I do not know if stream is safe to cross. We should look around for a shallow spot
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Tsukai examines the stream and finds the current strong enough to impede walking quickly through, but shallow enough traverse. The party quickly surmises that the lone kobold was likely a scout but find no other evidence of other kobolds in the area.

Liberty's Edge

Male Nagaji Ninja/1

Are we able to follow the path the kobold used to escape?

The party attempts to discern the location or direction the kobold fled. Tsukai believes the kobold either found a small tunnel to delve deeper into deeper caverns or found another way to fell the cave. Either way, the party does not believe any further attempt to track the kobold will be fruitful or safe.

With the ejection of the kobold, the party feels they have thoroughly explored the cavern. Janira, a bit more on the mend, catches up with the group as they exit the cavern into the larger main chamber of the cave. Hail Pathfinders! Find anything of interest back there?

Liberty's Edge

Male Nagaji Ninja/1

Tsukai looks to Janira as they leave the cave Good to see you are better. Small trouble in cave but it is OK now. Nothing else in cave but gillman. Maybe we talk to him and watch?

Silver Crusade

Male Human Cleric 1

Smiles broadly upon seeing Janira up and in good spirits.

It is nice to see that you are healing quickly.

Standing near their guide, he whispers a prayer to the Dawnflower; releasing a pulse of purple light.

Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 5

The caves seem explored and our conversation with the Gillman seems to indicate that nothing nefarious is happening here. Well, except the necromancer that fell to his own minions but they have been dispatched.

We seem to have run into a bit of a dead end, we can not ascertain where the kobold scout ran to after I knocked him down with my spell. Unless there is something we have missed, I suspect we are at a bit of a road block.

Janira smiles at Gabriel at his comment. Thanks Gabe! I am feelign much better thanks to you folks.[b] Janira listens to the group's report and nods as they discuss the most recent findings. [b]Kobolds? Well that's a problem. Would hate to have to roust a nest of those yippers in order to get a better look at this place. Let's hope you scared that lone fella enough to tell his cousins to stay home.

Janira rubs the back of her neck and sighs Alright, I think we should head back. This is a fascinating place. I expect Master Shane is eager to hear our report. Janira helps the party collect their things and retrieves her own pack.

The party's return trip is much less eventful and they are soon back at the Grand Lodge in Absalom. After freshening up from the journey, the group is fed a decent meal and are called on to make their report to Master Shane. The enigmatic Master of Scrolls can barely contain his excitement as the party reports their finding. Janira is quick to add in, making a very dramatic an impassioned retelling of the group's role in battling the minotoaur and saving Janira's life. The Grand Master's joy finally bubbles over. He claps once and addresses the party. Excellent! My dear Janira was certainly right about you. I trust her judgment so that I took a few liberties. With a flourish he produces a tray, seemingly out of thin air, and unveils it before the party. On the tray sit 4 newly minted wayfinders. Master Shane nods Go ahead, one for each of you. Trust me, with all the work you will be getting soon, you will need these...Pathfinders.

As each party member retrieves their wayfidner, they know that their Confirmation is complete and they are indeed full fledged agents of the Pathfinder Society.

The End.
