Worst comes to worst, we can probably manage it with four. (I know that when I was running it, a party of six steamrollered the second, third, and fourth levels, and even after they lost the cleric they didn't have too much trouble with a party of five through the fifth, sixth, and seventh.)
I've got the first map up. Please do me a favor and place your icons. I am having a strange copy/paste problem where it continuously copies the same icon over and over.
I will be away for a few days... will have internet access in the evenings but not sure how reliable it will be... just a forewarning that I might be unable to post... if that happens, feel free to bot me as needed.

Ah, you're right. Just delay again then.
This can be an extraordinarily frustrating scenario for many builds, though I suppose the worst case would be a halfling oracle with the Lame curse who specializes in combat; ranged or not, it doesn't matter. When I ran this, one of the PCs was a human skald, who at one point found himself unable to move 5', draw his weapon, and attack. I made up a little song about it. When they'd finished and were contemplating land acquisition, one of the players asked if the first hex was underwater. I reassured them that it wasn't, but added that it was all Difficult terrain and they couldn't see more than 5'. The skald informed me in no uncertain terms that it was too soon to make that joke.
Leaving for a con early in the am tomorrow and limited posting, if any, til then... please bot me as necessary to keep the flow of game going... thanks and see you all Monday night when i get home and catch up.
It took all week for me to get caught up in all my games and now a sudden death in the family has me traveling up north tomorrow (thurs), a funeral on friday and driving home on saturday - This time I will have my computer with me but posting will probably only at night, same with sunday as I'll be at the oscars til late. sorry for any delays in gaming, but I should be back to normal daily posting on monday.
Just a heads up. I will be leaving Thursday morning for a 4-day retreat at the beach that lasts til Sunday afternoon, then I have a Sunday night concert to attend. I will take my computer with me, but I may not be able to post much til after I get home. Please feel free to bot me if I delay the game at all.
On Monday, my dog goes into surgery and when he returns home on Tuesday, I will be on a full-time home care regimen with him. He needs to be walked with a belly band whenever he needs to relieve himself or get up to get a drink or eat, so it will be a busy time. (He's an almost 100 lb st. bernard puppy, so he can't be carried for these things).
I'll be able to post regularly again starting Monday, but perhaps not as frequently as usual for a while.... Anyway, sorry in advance for any lack of posting on my part. I will do the best I can.

Looks good, thanks again for running! I see that the session reporting feature on the boards still isn't treating evergreen scenarios correctly, though.
