Background:
Yaroslav was born in a family of performers who traveled with a Varisian caravan. Since birth half of his face was covered with a number of birthmarks. As he grew older these marks became so called birth tattoos depicting a swarm of blue and purple butterflies. The local fortuneteller, who was traveling with the caravan, told young Yaroslav that these birthmarks were a trace of Desnas touch. It is during those times he started seeing dreams of distant lands and sometimes even the glimpses of other worlds, but wherever his dream travels led him, there was always a bright star in the skies. After some time he started seeing that star even when he was awake and even if the sky was not visible. The fortuneteller started mentoring Yaroslav at her best abilities, teaching him the ways of the Great Dreamer as well as other gods. He also got some knowledge of the past days and even a bit of knowledge about distant worlds, glimpses of which he saw in his dreams.
When he reached maturity, the fortuneteller presented him with violet kapenia and said that he should go his own path from now on. After a few days he said farewells to his loved ones and took off wherever his dreams called him.
One day, during his travels, he stumbled upon a group of adventurers rushing to the nearest town, as one of their comrades was struck down by the foul disease and was slowly dieing. Yaroslav agreed to accompany them and to aid their friend at his best abilities. As they went on, he found out that these adventurers were of Pathfinder society and they were exploring an old ruin when a number of undead creatures attacked them and their friends disease was the result of that event.
It is then Yaroslav decided to give his travels a meaning and join the Pathfinder society so he could help cleanse this world of evil and assist Pathfinders in their exciting, but still dangerous, travels.
